Thunder read Silver's mind again. "Not just accessorized goal. It's a big deal, for any ring, whether real or fake is something special and value. See, this is what happens all of the time. The more you try to justify your actions, the more it makes me want to throw you back into that cell again for another week." Thunder stated.

Maybe you don't like it, but in your line of work you are going to see this everywhere. When you do something someone doesn't like you either argue about it, don't care about it, or are glad for doing it. Which group do you prefer me to be in?".

"No, when I see somepony doing wrong, I catch them and force them to admit that they did wrong, even if they try to get out of it. When I do something wrong, I just apologize, do whatever I need to do to make it right and move on forth. That's what you need to do, instead of running your mouth and saying nothing of value." @@C. Thunder Dash, Silver tongue had given up at this point, decided to agree with what he said, "Okay let's say for a minute I am right, just hear me out on this one, what would change? You would still assume you're right, and I would constantly try to convince you otherwise. So there is no point in continuing this vicious cycle. I know I messed up and I am repaying that debt, nothing more to say.". Silver tongue was worried that his thoughts would betray him, so he looped a strangely familiar song in his head.

 

(OOC: Trying to be as incharacter as possible considering he was in a prison for 2 months with nothing but his thoughts, and now has to watch what he thinks as well as what he says.).

"If it were a vicious cycle, heck, let me tell, you would not want to live anymore, so consider yourself lucky." Thunder stated as he made his way to the first point of community service. "Alright, you will start by cleaning houses for the ponies in Canterlot. This is your first house. Make it good, and I BETTER not hear any complaints or issues. Got that?" Thunder asked staring into Silver's eyes.

 

(OOC: You don't have to be that out of character that much. Start making him change. Besides, I didn't name this RP "A Shock of Humbleness" for no reason.)

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver tongue, took a deep breath, and changed his expression from that of frustration to a determined smirk, as easily as taking off a mask. Adopting a heroic accent he spoke. "Fear not for I shal clean these houses so well that they will sing songs about it for years!". The song he looped in his head ceased, "Right that song would drivin me crazy! Once again I am eternally grateful for those mental triggers.".

 

(OOC: he is changing. Its just that he is very good at hiding emotions, and changes within himself due to his profession.).

"Don't fake it!" Thunder snapped as he gathered electricity and made cleaning supplies appear from the blue. "I will see you tonight. Don't do anything behind my back." Thunder warned as he walked away toward Celestia's castle. He hoped that Silver would get his act together.

"Its just cleaning a house, how hard could it be?" silver tongue forgot how hard his old chores were. The fancy furnishing was not nearly as easy to clean as his simple chair and bed. As silver tongue was cleaning the bathroom he stopped and rested at the sink. splashing some some water in his face he looked up at the mirror. He said to himself, "Its just one week, then I can go... back... to... Nothings changed, too months and nothings changed. Who was at fault? Thunder dash? No, he was just doing his duty. That just leaves me. Was I that bad of a magician that I had to resort to petty theft? Well I guess I could try it his way seeing as my way didn't work so well.". Finishing the house he awaited Thunder Dashes return.

Thunder came back and expected. "Good, just as I expected. Next house." Thunder stated as he walked on to the next house.

 

(OOC: Probably this is a good time to skip to the next day, since it'll just be the same thing over and over again, cleaning houses. The next day will be something different.)

Silver Tongue woke up from a nightmare, panting in a state of panic he desperately tried to get his heart rate down to a reasonable level. After he had calmed down sufficiently he muttered to himself, "Another nightmare, they've been happening ever since I got caught. Maybe they'll stop when I'm  done with this community serves.". As Silver Tongue awaited Thunder's return he wondered what task awaited him.

Thunder found Silver. "Alright, ready for your next duty? Well...you're gonna spend the day helping a pony named Applejack down on her farm, whether it's helping her buck apples, to harvesting crops or organizing apples. Got it? Oh, and you can drink the apple cider. Just don't take more than three cups full. I don't want you drunk." Thunder stated.

 Remembering the few hours of garden work he did, Silver Tongues turned to a thousand yard stare wondering how far he could gallop before he was struck down by a lightning bolt. The whole reason he resorted to stealing was to avoid a labor based job, and farm work was the most strenuous. Trying not to panic he put his mind to the other statement, "The cider won't be necessary, farm work is hard enough when sober. Besides Applejake will probably be too fixed on her work to strike up a conversation.".

(OOC: that was not a typo he really did say Applejake.).

The intimidating stare was not helping his confidence, ​"I wonder if he enjoys watching me squirm. Crap im going to regret thinking that. Well its not like he can persecute me over a thought right?". "Easy warden, it was a slip of the tongue, no pun intended.", Silver Tongue said hastily.

"You sure about that?" Thunder asked continuing to eye Silver. Because Silver was a very Sly pony, and had a record to prove it, Thunder was not going to let up until the week was over. Even after Silver got his magic back, Thunder would continue to monitor him.

 "Okay you got me, that pun was intentional. I guess thats another week of community service for me.". getting over his panicked state, Silver Tongue internally cursed enough to make an irish sailor giggle as he realized whom he was talking to. "Calm down, he has to have some sense of humor right?", Silver Tongue hoped he hadn't just dug himself into an even deeper hole. "Well no point in wondering about what might be right?".

Thunder could read Silver's mind and looked at him with a "Seriously?" look on his face. "Let's just go to Sweet Apple Acres." He said as he started to walk slowly, thinking about whether Silver will change for the good after this community service period.

Thunder walked through the marketplace and towards the west side of Ponyville, keeping a sharp watch over Silver. He hoped that after this community service, Silver's heart and mind will change for the good, and he will pursue a different goal in his life.

Silver Tongue wondered where he would go after his sentence ran its course. "Its probably best not to go back to the whole magician thing. Hmmmm... how about writing, ya that could definitely work. I'll need another source of income though. Right... maybe I could do odd jobs until the writing takes off.".

Thunder soon arrived at Sweet Apple Acres. "Here we are. Now, You better be on your best behavior. I don't want any complaints from Applejack nor her family." Thunder stated as he saw Applejack bucking a tree from afar. "Applejack!" Thunder called out. Applejack came running toward Thunder. "Oh! Howdy Thunder, and who's this pony?" Applejack asked. "This is Silver. He's doing some community service." Thunder stated. "Community service eh?" Applejack asked. "Tryin' to redeem yourself?" She asked Silver.

 "As much as I would love to see how good my first lie can slip by, I must confirm that this is very mandatory for me. By the way my name's Silver Tongue, but don't let the name fool you, my cooking doesn't taste like silver.", Silver Tongue lightheartedly replied. ​"If I do redeem myself than good for me, but something in me needs to change to stop this from happening again.".

"Hehe...well...can't lie while I'm around...'cause Ah know when you're lyin'. Anyway, why don't you start by helpin' me buck some apples off of those trees over there." Applejack stated as she walked over to a nearby tree and bucked it. All of the apples came falling down and landed into the bucket below.
