 "Perhaps there are side effects to being cut off from magic. Either blind spots, memory loss, or having trouble processing the environment. Have you ever tested it before, or am I losing my mind?" Silver asked with milled concern.

"Nothing will really happen when your magic is disabled. Every unicorn has to have their magic disabled when entering the arena where the Equestria games are. It's to prevent cheating." Thunder said as he started to walk towards Silver's house. The little foal followed.

 Silver followed slightly behind "Okay, so I am suffering from a mental condition. Did I mention that I found this little girl at a party, gave her something sweet, and we are now making our way to a small dimly lit house? I am surprised a paranoid guard hasn't attempted to arrest me yet." Silver said with a laugh.

"Mental condition? Well that explains it. I know it's hard Silver, but your times almost up. Your horn will be enabled in just two more days." Thunder stated. The little foal kept up with Silver but got a little tired. "Can I...ride on you?" The little foal asked Silver as she struggled a little.

 Silver replied in a tone that would match an old wize munk "Ah yes, but who is crazier? The mentally ill, or the one who let him off the leash?" Silvers tone dropped to be more serious but still lighthearted, as he explained "Both these questions are irrelevant, due to the fact that you can't diagnose yourself. Even if you find a problem, ponies just automatically assume either, everyone deals with this, or everyone else is acting pretty weird.".

 

 Silver herd the foals request "Sure." Silver said, and without a second word the foal was hoisted onto Silvers back.

"Diagnose myself? What the hay are you talking about?! Look Silver, don't go with all wise wizard on me. Maybe you need to accept what you've done and commit to changing, instead of always letting your tongue loose. Maybe you need to diagnose that tongue of yours..." Thunder said firmly.

 Silvers light smile dropped at that, "Spoken like a true genius. Maybe if you learned how to take a joke every once and awhile, I wouldn't have so much to complain about! Or, or even this, how about, now stay with me here, you take a second to think about what I say, instead of assuming i'm wrong all the time, but if you want me to shut up then fine!" Silver mumbled the next sentence "maybe, you'll finally treat me with respect...".

"Joke? It didn't even sound like a joke at all. More like an insult...I'm all for humor but...all of that abstract stuff...gotta be careful with that." Thunder said. They soon arrived at Silver's house. "Well...I'll see you tomorrow. Oh and just so you know, you'll be working with Fluttershy tomorrow. Now, she's a very sensitive pony. I'd better not hear anything from anypony." Thunder warned.

 Silver sighed "Yeah, sure, you obviously didn't get my point, but no one's perfect, maybe one day you'll get it. Well, goodnight to you two, anyway." Silver said rubbing an eye and stepping inside. He looked moderately healthy, but his body language was as if he was completely drained. It was subtle, like he was being drained slowly, throughout the day.

"Yeah...and as for you...you'll someday see what it truly means that words can be like weapons or like flowers...goodnight Silver...goodnight little foal" Thunder said as he closed the door and flew off. "Goodnight..." The little foal said. She then turned back to Silver.

 Silver looked back at the foal, and with a sigh he spoke "I'm sorry you had to see that. Well thats Thunder Dash, perhaps not one of his finest hours, but I'll let you decide, who he is to you, but if you have any questions about him, or any questions at all, feel free to ask." as he was speaking Silver set the foal next to one of the beds "Good night, Silver Hoof.".

"Why you sorry? He just...well..." The little foal started but was interrupted by a yawn. She then went to climb into her bed. and waited for Silver to come to his bed. Meanwhile Thunder Dash was preparing for the next day of community service. He was glad that it was almost over.

 "I'm sorry because I lost my cool, even though I was having a ruff day. You see, even at the worst of times, you have to stay in control. The worst of times are probably where it counts the most to be in control. That is not to say I did not mean what I said. I meant every word, but the presentation was with anger, and that is something I try to avoid, but something seems to bring out the worst in me. I have an idea of what it is, but I can't be sure." Silver explained, as he got into bed, and had no problem falling asleep afterwards.

The little foal yawned again. "...Okay..." She said. And just like that...she fell asleep.

Morning rose over Ponyville. There was only one more day left of community service. Thunder was very happy that Silver was slowly changing, especially now that he had to take on the burden of a little foal. He went and knocked on Silver's door quietly.

 Silver Tongue woke up. Perhaps a bit groggily, but none the less, woke up. Silver Tongue gently woke Silver Hoof up "Time to get up, the dawn waits for no pony." Silver Tongue said in a hushed tone. After Silver Hoof got up, Silver Tongue went to the door and opened it "Hello Thunder, what challenge do you have for me today?".

The little foal slowly got out of bed and walked slowly to the door where Silver was. "Well...the great news is...this is in fact your last day of community service. Because you showed kindness and continuously fought your mental battles...you'll be free tomorrow. The not so good news is...you'll still be monitored..." Thunder stated.

(OOC: Thats fine. I just assumed she would wake up seeing as her not waking up would just complicate the story. Dos full control include her name? She is staying with Silver Tongue, and it seems like she has no other name.)

 

 Silver Tongue seemed to fully wake up after hearing the news "Woo hoo, I get to be sort of free after today.". After the slight celebration Silver Tongue remembered what was planned for today... kind of, it was a bit of a blur in his mind "Right so off we go to 'Butterflies College'." Silver Tongue said determined and confident, as he trotted out the door.

"You mean Fluttershy." Thunder corrected. "This is your hardest day yet. for you're helping probably the most sensitive pony in Ponyville. One wrong word or move, could send her into a crying fit. She's that sensitive. It's because of her past. Therefore, I don't want to hear ANY complaints. I'm not saying that you should be perfect. All I'm saying is, have the right attitude and right mindset, and it should be smooth sailing from there." Thunder stated.

 Silver Tongue gave a slight nod not letting his confidence drop "Right. Actual my psychology teacher told me that the shy type often look up to and even admire the confident type. Oh and did I mention I took psychology? Not enough for a degree though. Anyways, I'm sure I'll be fine as long as I don't make myself look intimidating." Silver Tongue respond, motioning for the foal to follow.

"Okay..." Thunder stated as he led the way. The little foal just watched and listened. "I...I'm hungry..." She all of a sudden said. "Hey Silver...want to take a quick stop at the local cafe for some breakfast before we go to Fluttershy's place?" Thunder asked as he waited for an answer.

 "I don't see why not. As long as you're buying, seeing as I have no income, and no savings. I can probably pay you back after I get a couple extra bits. Although I can't ganinty that to be soon, seeing as I am a show pony with a criminal record. It could be pretty hard to find a job." Silver said, with every sentence sounding a bit more depressed.

"I'm buying." Thunder stated as he waited for Silver and the little foal. The little foal tried to climb up on Silver's back, but stumbled and fell on her rump. "C...can you help me?" She asked as she continued to try to climb up on Silver's back. Thunder had a warm smile on his face. "That foal has really taken a liking to you Silver." Thunder stated.

 Silver Tongue helped the foal to his back, and brightened up a bit, trying to distract himself from the depressing reality. "I find it a bit hard to believe that I was the first one to take her in, but i'm not complaining, having someone by my side really helps.".

"Thank you Silver." The little foal said with a smile as she rested on Silver's back. Thunder then started to walk slowly towards the cafe. "Do tell me Silver...what was life like when you were a foal." Thunder stated as he continued to walk slowly. The little foal continued to rest on Silver's back.

 Silver Tongue looked off into the distance, remembering days of yore, and looked back to Thunder Dash "Well, I lived with one brother, his name was Silver Crown, and two loving parents. I got pretty much everything I wanted out of life, any thing I wanted I could get, and usually did, with a little bit of convincing... almost, my brother was very secluded, my parents had jobs at the Equestrian embassy, and the work of a diplomat is never done. Not to say they were never home, they actually sat me down and thought me how to be a diplomat, if I ever wanted to be one. I just wished they could have been home more than an hour a day." Silver paused of a second before continuing.

 

 "I was very popular in my school, but I didn't have much in the way of real friends, you know, the people that have you're back, I didn't have any of those, and I knew it. All in all, not the worst childhood. Now that I am done rambling about my life story, let's hear yours, If you don't mind sharing, I would hate to open old wounds.".
