"Thunder Dash." Thunder stated as he continued to eye the pony. "Those "triggers" you're speaking of, are silent hypnosis moves. I knew it. You're also a manipulator. Well...consider those days over. I'm not letting you off the hook. You will perform a week of community service before you're free to go. However, if you do anything behind my back, you'll end up back here. Your horn will be disabled until the community service period has ended." Thunder stated.

@@C. Thunder Dash, shocked at the close minded response, already weak from the month in the cage he snapped. "What?!" he began rant again. "You know nothing about me or my interests other than my name! You cant be hypnotized unless you are willing, even then its vary difficult! I was using it on myself to keep my stay bearable! You should be the one in here to make assumptions so quickly!"

"Well...sorry about the assumptions, but unfortunately, I know A LOT about you." Thunder state as he gathered some electricity and made some papers appear with the pony's name on it. It stated all of the crimes he performed and all of the complaints he got from other ponies.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver Tongue started to calm down at the apology, his anger replaced by surprise at the papers. "I could have sworn I was more subtle than that. I suppose the past has a way of escaping me.". "I presume you don't have all the times I had lit up an entire crowds day." He retorted sarcastically.

Thunder revealed an article that showed the pony on the stage using his magic to steal a foal's toy and replace it with a stick. The mother of the foal was standing and yelling at the magician. "You really need to clean yourself up before you can get back out there." Thunder stated. It was a newspaper article.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver Tongue was befuddled at the photo, "This must be fake, I may have spiked my teachers drink, but she could handle a ruff patch, this was just a foal. I couldn't have been that heartless, could I? Do I even still have that toy?". Silver Tongue stared at the picture, "That can't be right, what would I even want the toy for?".

"Hmmm, unless someone made a fake..." Thunder stated as he looked at the paper. "I'll send this off and see what the detectives say." Thunder stated as he handed it over to a guard and told him to go to the detectives. It then came to Thunder. "I see it now. You saw all of the magicians performing and wanted to be the best. Greed and pride then got into a mix. Hm, 'tis what happens to almost every magician. The fame gets into their heads." Thunder stated.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver Tongue knowingly replied, "It is the price we must pay to entertain the masses, if we don't make ourselves look big we would hardly even get a passing glace.". Silver Tongue frowned, "But now, with this criminal record i'll be lucky if even that works.".

"That's the problem. Making yourself look big isn't the way to do it. Starting out small is the best thing to do. Oh sure, it may disappoint you that not many ponies will be interested, but as time goes by and you keep your morals in check, more and more ponies will start looking up to you." Thunder stated.

@@C. Thunder Dash, "Easy to say. I have a criminal record and no bits, not a good combination for a performer. But I don't blame you, if you didn't arrest me someone else would. I don't suppose I have much of a chose but to change how I do things, come to think of it if you didn't arrest me than my greed would have escalated. I don't think I would go as far as trixie, but the consequences could have been a lot worse." Silver Tongue found himself rambling and stopped himself.

Soon, the month passed. Thunder came and opened up Silver's cell. "It's time to start your community service for the one week." Thunder stated as he made sure that Silver's horn was still disabled.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver Tongue was a mess. With a disheveled mane, bags under his eyes, and an off balance walk, Silver tongue looked like he could be hallucinating at any moment. He thought to himself, "This has gone far enough its time I used what I knew. Hmmmm... If I can get the someone im servicing to vouch for me, I might get out of this community service faster, or I could get him/her to send a letter to my parents and they can pay the bale, but who?". Silver Tongue snapping out of his thoughts spoke up "So what will be my good deed for today?".

Thunder could read Silver's thoughts. "Don't even think about it." Thunder said to Silver as he walked out with Silver who's horn was still disabled. "You must complete this week of community service cleanly. No bad deeds. Once you complete the week, you will be free but still under some degree of watch." Thunder stated.

@@C. Thunder Dash, "Okey dokey 'big brother'." Silver Tongue retorted sarcastically. He contemplated on how Thunder could read minds until he came to a conclusion, "That's it, it he must be able to seance the electric impulses in my head, it must have taken years of memorizing in order to translate that fast. If I could replicate that... oh thunder dash I must thank you for this inspiration, just as the old saying goes, 'we often give our enemies the means of our own destruction.'. Of cores this can't help me now, unless you gave me a few years of practice, and who knows maybe I will use it for the right purposes, just as you are."

"That was sarcasm right?" Thunder asked as he led Silver out to the bright sunny day of Canterlot. "Well, your community service starts now. You will help in whatever fashion, whether it's helping Applejack on the farm, helping Octavia with her music, cleaning houses and other stuff." Thunder stated.

Silver Tongue thought on thunder's previous statements, "One more week, just one more week and i'm skipping town, the sooner I can forget about that cage the better!".

Silver Tongue had now adjusted to the blinding sun, and took some time to feel the cool breeze in combination with the warm sun. He haven't felt this calm since before his last show.

"Just because you're a show pony doesn't mean you go stealing stuff. Most show ponies act prideful, well, I'm here to tell you that a showpony must act humble before their audience. Most showponies have other jobs than just showing off, which sometimes turns off ponies." Thunder stated.

Thunder Dash, The concept of keepsakes seemed to be lost on silver tongue "Would it really have been that big a deal, after all it was a peace of accessorised gold being used for appearances, instead of more practical uses. It was his and his alone to use, I had no right to make that decision for him. still if I hadn't than I would be hurting myself, which was better stealing or suicide?". The internal battle raged on as silver tongue tried to justify his actions, each excuse countered with a solid moral.
