 Silver tried to adopted a hesitant, yet serious personality, in order to hide his over the top self that he knew no one here would like. Silver denied the Mrs. Cakes offer, "It's fine, I'm not a fan of sweets anyway.", it was true, but the main reason was being to help add to the facade.

"You sure? It'll go by fast." Mrs. Cake stated. Some of the foals were lining up behind Silver, waiting for him to decide. Luckily, they were not the impatient type of foals. Scootaloo, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle had already gotten pieces. Thunder was just looking at Silver.

 "Well okay, but only if you insist.", Silver said as he took a slice of cake, and was out of the foals way thinking to himself, "My gosh, does this not suit me. This must be what it feels like to be an actor. Cross that off the list of things I want to try.", Silver thought to himself, as he made his way far from the rainbow maned athlete, acting distracted in order to give the illusion that said action was unintentional.

Thunder waited for silver before he went to get a piece. Rainbow Dash went to sit by Scootaloo. "So...how does it feel birthday girl?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Totally awesome! Another year gone by with my older sister by my side!" Scootaloo stated.

 "'Awesome'? Ya, I definitely made the right choice by hiding my personality." Silver thought to himself as he looked for a conversation to join. Silver Tongue had gotten accustomed to his false persona, and was confident that he could keep it up if put on the spot.

A foal walked up to Silver and sat down in front of him. She was a quiet foal and wanted him to pet her. Thunder eyed Silver to make sure he wouldn't do anything bad. "You better not screw this up Silver." Thunder said through telepathy to Silver as he continued to watch Silver.

 Silver looked back at Thunder and thought, "You mean like this?", *An image of Silver uppercutting the foal into the ceiling briefly went through Silvers mind.*, "Have a little faith, I'm not that​ incompetent... Right, now that thats out of the way, let's see. The quiet type. Those are the ones that tend to prefer my personality, and ponies tend to stick to the norm at this age.", Dropping back to his original personality, Silver greeted the foal "Hey, this is some party right?".

Thunder Dash eyed Silver with indimation. "Oh you better not!" He said through his telepathy into Silver's mind. He kept eying Silver, making sure he wouldn't harm the foal in any way, shape or form. If he did, he would be sent back to jail for 6 months for foal abuse and he'd have to pay for the foal's injuries.

 Silver was laughing in his head, of course never letting anything beyond a smile show. "Haha, just, uppercutting a little foal, hahahaha,for no reason, oh gosh what in tartarus is wrong with my sense of humor?", Silver asked himself the natoracle question before speaking to the foal again, "So whats you're name?".

"Snap out of it Silver!" Thunder yelled through telepathy. The foal reached up to Silver, wanting him to pick her up and snuggle her. Meanwhile Scootaloo was talking with Rainbow Dash and Applebloom and Sweetie Belle were playing the little horseshoe game that was set up.

 Silver was mentally slapping himself as he rationalized what was clearly asked to do, "This is a great idea, *slap*, This can't possibly backfire, *slap*, This will in no way put me into legal danger, *slap*. I was in canterlot for way too long for me to expect a lawsuit for picking up a child, lawyers are too daum jumpy when it comes to this stuff.", Silver gently picked up the foal, half expecting somepony the scream 'Release my child you brute!'.

Nothing happened. The foal hugged Silver lovingly as he cradled her in his arms. "Awww how cute!" Pinkie said with a giggle as she looked at Silver. "Finally an act of love..." Thunder thought to himself as he continued to watch Silver. The foal giggled a little as well.

 Silver thought, knowing very well that thunder was listening, not letting it change his mood, ​"Wow thats pretty cold, I know I haven't exactly been a saint, but that remark was uncalled for.". Silver said in a light voice, "Let's see if we can find your parents, I bet you would like their company a lot more.".

"I want to stay with you." The little foal said to Silver as she looked up at him. Another test, another test to see what Silver would do. "Good job Silver, but the day's not over yet." Thunder stated. Some of the foals started to leave as their parents came, but the parents of the little foal who was with Silver did not show up yet.

 Silver was a bit shocked. "I'm flattered, but why me? I'm just a common thief after all. Wouldn't you want to spend this time with your family?" Silver asked as if the foal was smart enough to give a good answer. "Maybe thunder could point me in the right direction here.", Silver thought making his way towards Thunder.

"Thief?" The little foal asked. "Is it bad?" The little foal continued to ask him. "You're not a thief anymore Silver." Thunder said through his telepathy. Scootaloo had left with Rainbow Dash and Applejack had come to pick up Applebloom. Sweetie Belle was still there.

 Silver Thought in response, "You saw how Applejack acted. I may not be, but unless word of this spreads across equestria, thats how I will be seen. Thats why I was so hesitant, unless you're word means a whole lot around here, I was lucky nopony assumed this to be another theft.". Silver replied to the filly, "Ya It's pretty bad.".

It turned out that the little foal didn't have parents. It was wandering around Ponyville trying to find somepony to stay with. "Can I stay with...you?" The little foal asked Silver as she was being held in his arms. She then tried to reach and boop Silver on the muzzle. "I think she's starting to like you Silver." Mrs. Cake stated.

 "Ya, looks like it.", Silver Tongue replied with a content expression. On the inside however, different conflicting emotions raged on like a storm in a bottle, "I can't handle this. My financial state is very unstable, I will need to start dating to find a proper mother, I don't know if there will always be food on the table, let alone, an education, and as of now, I am always traveling. On the other hand, my psychology professor recommended a few child psychology books, I have a great idea of where to find a proper mother, and I can take up a part time job, as I am a bit of a 'jack of all trades'. I can't just say no, unless I wanted to look like a heartless monster at someones birthday party." Silvers mental storm was beginning to subside with every solved problem.

The foal hugged Silver lovingly. "Looks like it's another test. Only three more days of community service...and then let's see how Silver will take this little foal..." Thunder thought to himself.

 (OOC: I really like the OC, as it fits quite well with the show. The thing is that her personality is not very compatible with my OCs. Altho he knows how to make it work, either way it can only end badly, if this is going where I think it is going. This conclusion is based on a book that I urge you to read in the future 'king warrior magician lover' as it makes a lot of good points, and I have let to disprove it. I will be making other OC's in the future based on that premise.)

 

 Silver Tongue had completely calmed down knowing he could deal with the situation, and decided to take this time to enjoy the foals company, returning the hug.

The party had finished. "Alright then, it's time for some baking." Mrs Cake said to Silver.

 "Right, so who is going to watch the foal?" Silver asked. "Have they forgotten already? Who would have guessed that I would be the responsible one here? Which reminds me, what is his name anyway?" Silver began listing off potential names in his head.

"You. She can also help you with your work as well. Be nice and I better not hear that you upset her." Thunder stated as he walked out the door with Rainbow Dash. Just then, a brown chubby mare walked in. "Choco!" Pinkie screamed. "Pinkie!" She said back as they ran to hug each other. "I missed you sooo much!" Pinkie stated. "So did I!" The brown mare said with a giggle.
