This is a followup to my previous blog proving atheism to be a religion.
So a new argument as sprung up and it's at the forefront, and this argument is that one can be an agnostic and an atheist at the same time. This is because "atheism deals with belief and agnosticism deals with knowledge." This has taken me a ton of time to argue against, but I do think I've come up with something of value and grown as a result.

I'm doing this because the arguments atheists make can make this confusing and I want to be able to look and easily point out the logic without confusing myself. First to get the definitions out of the way: (I'm taking these definitions off dictionary.com by the way, if you have issue with them tell me below and explain why)
Religion: a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe
Atheism: the doctrine or belief that there is no God.

I have a vision of what I'd like to see, but what is the significance in putting forth the effort? What is the significance of a better world? Why fight for a future I may not even be able to be a part of?
By example or through force? The ladder is such an appealing option, but alas, my hopes are too strong for compromise.
And how can I change anything when I don't even have an ounce of influence on my own brother?

I just had a conversation with a few of my friends and a super anti-religious guy. I think I've taken one economics class in my life and I didn't really understand it, but I'm gonna give my input anyway.
I think people who act as if there's one end all be all way to manage an economy are kind of stupid. There's plenty of economic strategies that work. On paper. Yes, thousands of economic plans that work on paper.
Well the truth is economic plans and strategies are bound to have ups and downs, its inevitable. Not only because there are so many contributing factors

What if God split him/herself into a trillion pieces and made a trillion virtual reality machines. And these virtual reality machines had ranges going from easy to difficult and they put God in this world playing as us (so we're technically god). And if God put the virtual reality machine on easy he has a really easy life, and if he put it on hard he got a really hard life, and that's the explanation for everything?

So often I hear atheists say how stupid it is to believe in any form of God or religion and how they are the direct cause of all the worlds problems. Then in the next paragraph they'll be spewing some crap about how humans have some moral obligation to maximize pleasure - meaning healthcare + foodstamps + all that progressive civil rights causes. If you are an atheist, then there is no such thing as morals. There is no such thing as good and bad and labeling humans as such is complete
I have absolutely zero respect for anyone who buys something that someone else made and then turns around and says "wait you have more money than me now", and subsequently has everyone else in the area pull out a gun and say "give me back the money until we break even"
I dunno maybe I could write more on this topic but this is really all that needs to be said. The thought that there are actually people that believe this is the moral thing to do is seriously disturbing to me
So I've been having this thought lately...
What if there exists a realm of ideas where all ideas come from, and this realm is also God. The realm is constructed of something like "willpower" or something like that i dunno exactly, and an eternity ago this God created a reality/dimension where the ideas could be experienced. And what if this God split up his willpower into an infinite amount of shards that are contained within all living beings, essentially giving them the will to live. (T
Here is what we should be teaching children:
-Face your fears, don't let them control you
-Think for yourself and assume nothing
-Be the leader of your own life
-Be responsible for your own life and your own actions
-Compete for the sake of competing in everything you do, both to better yourself and others
-Live for achievement and the moment, dream big. Don't expect and rely on wishes to come true, hope for them and do your best to make it happen.
-Accept your fate and learn from it
There's a bit of a stigma attached to the thought of anarchism. Even for me, the first thought that comes to mind is men killing each other in the streets, cars exploding, and cities burning to the ground.
What is anarchism? I like this definition: "The belief that all existing governmental authority should be abolished and replaced by free cooperation among individuals."
Ask yourself why we need government and see what answers you can come up with. I'd assume things like... people
People have made it complicated. It's hard to believe that there was once a time when a child was not expected to go through 12+ grades of schooling lasting 12+ years to finally be able get a job flipping burgers huh?
Contrary to popular belief, people are not stupid, and that's what so many college graduates and old people seem to think these days. Don't share my view? You're stupid. I'm smart, you're dumb, you don't have my experiences and my experiences have enlightened me.

I don't understand them. Why would anyone choose to not believe in a God, or at the very least an afterlife? You can imagine any afterlife you want, you can come up with your own religion and your own thoughts on what might lie beyond this life, but you choose to believe that we're just an accident and on our way to rot in the ground?
Now that I think of it, does being atheist mean you just don't believe in any God or you don't believe in any concept of an afterlife or anything like that?
