My reason to defend Transformers 4

Howdy ya'll, been a week and Transformers 4 age of extinction already exceeds $100 million in Box office in one weekend, however there are haters in critics and audience, I would like to address some of the complaints and my defense for the film.

1 Movie was to long

2 More transformers with beards

3 Dinosaur robots

4 Stero-Japanese(Dont know, nor accurate spelling for it) transformers

5 No shia lebouf

6 stupid story line

7 story made no sense

There are few others I've seen, but I will like to address these.

True the movie was longer than the predesseing films I even feel like it was, there were some scenes that could have not been there or change to make it shorter.

Transformers with Beards, we seen this starting in Revenge of the Fallen, with Transformer Jetfire, then Sential Prime and Leadfoot in Dark of the Moon, now we are seeing Autobot Hound with a beard in Age of Extinction. Let me say, ya'll never seen any transformer series and or the 1986 film, because in them, there are alot of bearded transformers, and not just beards, but also mustaches and goatees. In Bay-verse (acronym for the Michael Bay version of transformers) he and the writers use this to give the transformers age and or experience, for Jetfire and Sential Prime they are old timers as for hound he is a war veteran as said in his bio.

Dinosaur Robots, people complain that with dinosaurs the transformer franchise is ruin, heck no! Its a big boost to many to see the Dinobots (Dinosaur Robots) in Age of Extinction, in the G1 series there were dinobots in there, in beast wars Megatron his second in command were in forms of Dinosaurs.

Japanese transformers stereotypes, many complain about Revenge of the Fallen character Skids representing blacks by having gold tooth, now some are complaining about Autobot Drift (The Bugatti) being a Japanese samurai, first off, in the comics taking place in G1 universe, Drift is a Samurai Transformer, for he chooses swords over guns, and sides with Autobots.

Of course Shia Lebouf wont be in it, its a new cast of humans, in every series theres new human allies helping the Autobots on their mission, as for Age of Extinction, while many of us wants to know what happen to Sam and Carly and Epps and Leonex, we have Cade(Mark Wahlberg) helping the Autobots in this movie.

the last two complaints I will merge them into one. The Story Line, do people really expect to see everything make sense in one Movie? No, thats why there are clifff hangers, and reasons to not answer everything till the next film or comics. example, (spoilers) who are the Creators in the Bay-verse Transformers that Lockdown Mentioned? well we are going to have to wait till next film. In transformers Universe there are hundreds to thousands of Autobot and Decepticons, why are we not seeing any more in this film? Well in Comics and Novels some Autobots and Decepticons are scattered, Still on the Ark (Comic and Novel version) and Nemisis, and some are Dead, we still have more films to come so have patience.

That is all I have to say on this. If there are issues or topics or pointers I missed feel free to comment and I will address them.

You left pandering to Bronies off the list of grievances.  :P

All kidding aside, thank you for taking the time to write this.  While I didn't love Age of Extinction, I did like it and I think it's better than any Bay TF movie since the original.  And it's still a Bay movie.  What do Bay movies consist of?  Babes and explosions.  As he likes to say, his goal is to appeal to the 12 year old boy in all of us.  :)

Just pointing this out, it's not Transformers 4. It was considered at a time, but it's been officially announced as a reboot of the series. Same thing they did with Spider-Man, except they kept Michael Bay.
