Historical Inaccuracy Criticizing!

So, I have this little erm..statue of a fifer on my desk. And simply because I am bored, I am going to criticize it's historical inaccuracy! I can imagine most of you would not care about such a thing, but i'm still doing it :D.

As you can see, the musician has red colored piping on his frock coat, yet a bugle on his kepi. Bugle was the insignia for infantry, yet the color red stood for artillery. So, this guy is an artillery-infantryman? Another thing is that he had a pistol on his belt. Musicians did not carry fire arms such as pistols or rifles. They were lucky if they even got a tiny musicians sword (which he does have). So, to all people out there who are making anything history related, get your facts right!!!

Never trust fifers with fire arms? Then why am I Fluttershy's personal body guard? A musket and bayonet is the best defense weapon ever!

Lies. Unless you were a five year-old secret agent, you aren't, and never were, part of the KGB.

You seem to be under the impression that the KGB is no longer around...

And maybe the guy is a union hipster. You know, mixing and matching several aspects of fashion that don't really go together, playing an instrument because it looks cool. And since he's in the army, he has a gun. But he wears it ironically.

Speaking of Which, do you mind if I share with you the saddest internet video in history in december?
