No, you are not being a jerk, you are being the opposite, you kept cool and provided logical reasoning and kept yourself sounding proffesional and mature.

ANd it is never a jerk thing to do to request a redo of art, and from what I understand, it is almost always encouraged here to ask for changes to be made for art requests that you find flaws in.
