Welp, hello everyone! As of today, I've been on the forums for a year, so I thought I should probably make a blog post for the occasion, look back a bit and hopefully not get sappy or anything. :icwudt:

 


It was a dark and stormy night--I mean, once upon a time, on a bright and sunny day, there was a bored strudel looking for something to do. That little strudel remembered he liked being on forums, so he looked up some MLP ones to join. The first thing that popped up was - as you might've guessed - MLPForums! :D
So, I signed up and made a topic in the Welcoming Plaza. I started posting here and there, made an art thread, talked with some people - the atmosphere was great and friendly! I thought I might actually stick to it for more than 1-2 months (the average time I spend in most forums).

 

As time passed, I've met all sorts of awesome people, who have become my close friends~ Even though I was probably quite awkward at first, since being social was/is not exactly my forte, they stuck with me and helped me become a better me~ (Now c'mere and I'll give you all a big hug and a boop! :catface: )

 

On the topic of self-improvement, I've done quite a bit of that ever since I joined these forums. From being more social, to being more positive, more open-minded, and so on. I'm not saying that these things have happened just because of my time here, they're things I worked on before, but being here and talking with all you peeps certainly helped a ton! :ooh:

 

I've also got a lot more motivated to draw and improve at drawing! Thanks to all the artpones and everyone for giving me silly ideas for things to do~ I've come a long way since I started, thankfully none of you had to witness my old stuff--

Anyway, I've been yapping a lot by now, don't want to put ya to sleep, so to sum it all up: I've met some great people here, - much love and many boops to ya! -, have become more passionate about drawing, and of course, have become an all-around better me, and feeling happier than I have in quite a long time, even if I'm not sunshine and lollipops everyday. :derp:

 

So here's to one year of being here, and now onto the second! Then third, fourth, and so on. I plan to stick around for a loooong time, to say the least. :P Who knows what the future holds~
