Following the release of Loyalty, AcousticBrony and MandoPony set such a high bar for high-quality songs in this fandom. Loyalty had that action-packed tone, music, and lyrics that capture Rainbow Dash perfectly. It was such a fantastic song and demonstrated their talent in their singing and composing in their brony music. It would be extremely difficult to top Loyalty in the Element series.

Kindness not only met those expectations. It blew those expectations apart. The music is extremely well-done with a great tone in its melody and instruments. The lyrics flowed extremely well, transitioning the song from one word to another without a hitch. The characterization and main trait of Fluttershy is captured perfectly. It isn't full of action like Loyalty, but it doesn't need to be; the change of tone fits Fluttershy's character perfectly all the while meshing well with the hard rock genre from the fantastic team of MandoPony and AcousticBrony.

But what works extremely well is the overall double message, both Fluttershy's Element and the core community's development. Back when Loyalty was released, the brony fandom was still relatively new and was still growing into its own. This song implies the growth of the fandom since then, and the tone and message reflect this.
