Least Favorite:

1. Arnold Saves Sid: This is a ridiculous plot device and I don't like it. 

2. Eugene Goes Bad: Similar opinion to "Cool Jerk" because I don't like it when nice characters become bullies. 

3. Ransom: I do not like Gerald's little sister, Timberly. 

Favorite: 

1.  Eating Contest:  I REALLY like watching this episode to the point where it's in my Top 5 all-time favorites.

2.  Steely Phil:        I like the sound of the marbles hitting the checkerboard. 

3. Quantity Time: I feel I had to put this here as a wrestling fan.

4.  What's Opera, Arnold?: WITH MY GOLDEN MAGIC SLINGSHOT! 

5. Freeze Frame: A fun mystery with a wholesome ending. 

Honorable Mention: 

New Teacher: I like this episode a lot, too but what happened to Miss Slovak?

I've always hated the "I saved you life now I must serve you" plotline. I'll give Hey Arnold credit for not doing the "create a fake danger so Sid saves Arnold" cliché.

I do like the Winnie the Pooh episode "My Hero" where Piglet "saves" Tigger so, Tigger becomes Piglet's servant and drives him crazy. 

I remember not enjoying The Longest Monday either, easily one of my least favorite episodes in the show

I actually think the episode works because Eugene was really bad at being bad lol, and in the end everyone(Eugene, the other kid and the Actor) does the right thing in the end

That episode is so unpleasant... and so nonsensical. Why does Principal Wartz allow this tradition to happen? I thought he was extremely strict in running the school.

There was an episode in Recess with a similar premise(the Picture Day episode), but I think it handles it much better

Recess reminds me a lot of Hey Arnold due to all of the quirky kids and voice actors that both shows share.

There's a lot of overlap between the two as far as people working on the show goes(as well as Rugrats)

I think Kath Soucie plays a kindergartner or two on Recess as well as Miriam on Hey Arnold and Phil, Lil and Betty Deville on Rugrats.
