This movie also accentuated my fears for MLP Season Four

So that means before Twilight met the Mane 6, they were awful, awful ponies.

 

 

Why would MLP be about friendship when Twilight wasn't allowed to bring her friends with her to the human world

Equestria Girls implied that friends are replaceable and disposable, that it's okay to deliberately throw your own friends away like garbage just because you've found someone new. Equestria Girls isn't about friendship. It's about kicking your own friends in the balls just because you've found someone "better".

Then why did Twilight want to go home? 

Also, just because Twilight has 6 friends, dosen't mean she should have 5 new friends? I'll keep that in mind.

I thought that Twilight, even as an alicorn princess, would still turn to her friends for help, because that's what the majority of friendship is like. However, based on Twilight entering the mirror alone, this implies that in Season Four, Twilight will go on solo, never needing help from anypony, not even her own friends! She'll be the god-like Mary Sue I've feared that she'd become, no longer able to recognize friendship because she's too "above petty concerns" like friendship. And her friends will all be disposable, like they were in Equestria Girls! 

 

 

No, sir, they won't. In MMC, they weren't disposable. In S3, they weren't disposable. They will still have episodes centered around them. They are BFF's to Twi.

'Too above petty concerns'? The reason she became princess was because she believed in friendship. If she doesn't believe so, then she is going against what she said. As such, that could actually prove to be an interesting plot for an episode, on how strong friendship is, and how you shouldn't abandon your friends.

Also, you do realize EQG wasn't canon, right?

So, yeahhhhh.

On the one hand, I got a slight sense of what you're worried about Ponyshep.  It did seem like EQG devalued Twilight's regular friends.  But those weren't any run of the mill replacements.  They were that universe's counterparts to the Mane 6.  In theory, any of them should be interchangeable. 

But Commander, the movie isn't canon nor related to the show in anyway other than the characters and the name of the movie. I wouldn't compare the movie to the show in any aspect.

I agree with most everything you're saying, but there has to be a less ranty way to get it out there, bruddah. People tend to respect your opinions more if you don't sound like you're clinging on for dear life on your idea.

Forgive my unkindness, but I completely disagree with every word of this blog.

But Twilight couldn't take her friends through the portal because the portal would then be unstable. There's a reason behind everything. But I disagree with everything here to be honest.

I didn't think the movie was too great or anything, but don't ya think that's a bit harsh, bra?

Also, they are ladies, so they don't have balls. I believe she would instead be kicking them in the ovaries.
