My wife and daughter visited today....to see me blast off on a 150 foot tall fuel can that could explode at any time.....great....just..great.

in a few minuites ill become the second pony to enter space, and the first into orbit, uggh....as i stare out the capsules window to the clear light blue sky, im praying silently to aunt celestia that my flight is safe.

i can hear bubbly in my ear mic "Engine ignition, 5...4...3..2.....1.." soon im unable to hear her anymore as my body is pressed hard against the seat of the capsule, all i can do is stare out the window, as the light blue, turns to dark blue, turns to even darker blue, then black.

it seemed like only a few seconds, a blink of the eye, and after black, came many little dots in the sky, the stars i could see them wherever i looked...it was...beautiful actually.

"midnight...you there?" it was twilight,

"yes....im here..."

"good, through all the screaming we thought you got hurt." she chuckled,

i lowered my eyelids, and continued to stare out the window, as the capsule rolled and revealed the earth below, "wow...."

"midnight, fire your engine for 10 seconds, that should put you into LEO."

i nodded and put my hoof on the throttle, and pushed it forward, the craft shuddered as it began to pick up velocity, "5...4..3..2..1 cut." i cut the engines "very good midnight, we will contact you again, when you complete your orbit, and ready to return.
