Next-Gen Consoles: What I Think
...

So, I'm really torn, actually. Both consoles are really looking good at this point, and we've had some disappointments on both of them.
So this is my list of items, and what I think about them
---Price---
PS4 > X1
---HD---
A lot of people are giving X1 a hard time, and rightfully so. But here's the thing, I don't have a HD TV, so 720p is the best I can do, so this doesn't really effect me. I also don't plan on buying one.
---Titles---
PS4 Titles I would buy (Exclusives in bold)
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Battlefield 4
Watch_Dogs
Infamous: Second Son
MLB 14: The Show
X1 Titles I would buy (exclusives in bold)
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Battlefield 4
Watch_Dogs
Forza 5
Titanfall*
that's excluding any game I choose to buy later, or any later possible ports to the next-gen.
The only title I would miss from Sony would be The Show.
*Yes, I know It's not an X1 exclusive, but It's only available on PC and X1/360, so shut up.
X1 > PS4
---Hardware---
X1 controller is pretty much the same as the X360, so I know it should be good. Not a big fan of the Kinect, though.
I hate the DS3. Well, hate is a strong word, It's just It's not very good, while the X360 is.
Only thing that bugs me is I don't think my headset will work at launch, so that makes me a little upset, and I prefer the X1 default headset over the PS4 earbud any day.
Obvious. X1 > PS4
---Online---
So, Sony has come to par with Microsoft, as It's now a paid service, but we basically see the same thing Xbox Live.
12 Month PS4 subscription: $49.99
12 month Xbox Live $59.99
But, if you look at it, I like Xbox Live a lot more. I feel It's more stable, and a lot more people I know play on it.
X1 > PS4
---Hardware---
Won't bore you.
PS4 > X1
---Etc.---
I'm a little upset some of my stuff isn't going to work, but It isn't a deal breaker. The PS4 looks good, but I have concerns. I like the higher power, but I don't plan on getting an HD TV anytime soon, so I'm afraid some of it will go to waste.
As for the X1, more of my friends play it, It has some really interesting features online, and It's usually a better experience for me. I like the included headset (for something free) and the Kinect is there if I need it. I'm willing to pay an extra 10 bucks per year of Live, but am I willing to pay $100 extra for it? Plus, CoD and Battlefield get DLC early, so not a huge plus, but a plus nonetheless.
Just my opinion.
Right now, I'm leaning X1, simply because of Live, and my IRL friends play it, but time will tell.
