The Real Sparkly has wings and a horn just like Twilight Sparkle whom she was cloned after. She has a deep purple coat, glowing magenta eyes, an indigo mane with pink and silver highlights, and Twilight Sparkle’s Cutie Mark with a crack in the middle and an ominous shadow surrounding it.
Backstory

Sparkly was originally a human male who got transported from Earth to Equestria. He was transformed into a clone of Princess Twilight Sparkle for reasons unknown. All that Sparkly knew was if she revealed her true form to others, she would gain a lot of unwanted publicity for being a princess. For a long time, she hid her wings under a cloak and covered herself with powder to make herself look as different from Twilight as possible.

Now, however, Sparkly feels that she no longer needs to hide. She cannot utilize her full physical and metal powers without being her fullest self. She may be a clone, but she is not a copy! She is a fierce and brilliant mare who will do whatever it takes to protect those around her. She will also do all she can to teach them about Earth so that they can use that knowledge to better Equestria.

- Sparkly arrived to Friendshire and met many good friends there. Her closest friend is Pencil Pouch because she has the inclination to protect the innocent unicorn.

- Out of both rage and the desire to protect those she cared about, Sparkly revealed her full self right before defending herself against the bullies of Friendshire. She wanted them to know exactly who they were dealing with.

- Sparkly first told Starlight Glimmer, Pencil Pouch, Nopony, Tree Song, and possibly a few others about her true self. She was very thankful that her friends protected her identity until it was no longer needed.

Sparkly is very open and knowledgeable. She will gladly share all she knows with anypony. She is typically very friendly and outgoing. She is also very protective of the friends she cares most about. However, she is also known to get quite aggressive and defensive when she feels threatened. She will unleash a strong amount of hate onto her enemies if given the chance. She will not back down or surrender to anyone.

“Yes, indeed, clones are real! You may want to delve into some magical studies for further proof. I have not been to this town’s library myself but I am sure there are texts on the matter.” Sparkly told Trilby. She chuckled when Trilby suddenly grew suspicious of everyone in the stands.
“No need to worry, I can sense that everyone here is real, including you.” She pointed at Trilby for further emphasis.
Pencil distracted herself from her frustration by observing the fight between Kronos and Thundy. Kronos was utilizing many of his weapons while Thundy was preparing himself for his next attack. Currently, Kronos had pretty good standings. It would be no surprise if he won since he is very skilled in combat.
She turned to Alhimar who had indirectly addressed her and Sparkly. Pencil smiled at him and began some light conversation.
“I think he has really good armor and tactics, too. From what I remember, he also has those spirit things guiding him through each move. He is very suited for this type of thing, so I have a good feeling he’ll win.” she commented.
Sparkly broke her conversation with Trilby to add her own remarks.
“Kronos has a good chance of winning, yes. Let’s hope that he puts his skills to good use and does not choose to surrender. I can tell Thundy has a fighting spirit as well, but he must not be so hesitant or he’ll succumb to one of those weapons.” she said.

Sparkly continued to beam at Dynamo as he expressed a great deal of interest in her knowledge and origin story. She was more than happy to answer any questions and inquiries he had. Thinking a moment, she tried to recall where she was when she first landed in Equestria and discovered how to cloak herself.
“It may very well have been the Everfree Forest but I cannot recall completely. I was much too focused on trying to hide to study where I was. I do remember, however, the specific plant I used to create the powder. I was able to locate spearmint deep within the forest and grind it up between rocks. Once I had enough, I applied it to myself and used a spell to ensure that it stuck.” Sparkly told him.
She looked to Trilby with a puzzled expression. He did not appear to understand what a clone was or perhaps she did not explain herself properly. Whatever the case, she felt it was best to re-explain.
“You misunderstand what a clone is. Clones retain most of their original’s genetic makeup but that does not make them the same pony. Clones, even in the same environment, have different experiences, different thoughts. I see what you are saying about ‘twins’, however, that is not the type of clone I was referring to. I was speaking more of scientific copies of a living being rather than a twin or a lookalike.” she explained thoughtfully.

Meanwhile, Pencil watched as Thundy reintroduced himself to the crowd. He was in a sports uniform, although Pencil could not tell what the exact sport was. Loud and energetic music played, inspiring Pencil to draw.
Hmm, but what to draw, though? she wondered.
She pulled out her sketchbook and a couple of pencils and set them on her lap. Thankfully, everyone was wrapped up in conversation so she could have complete focus on her art. She began sketching in the corner, recalling various blasts of magic and fire from previous battles. She gave the paper hard and heavy strokes, emphasizing the impact of the blasts.
Next, she drew careful lines to outline the stadium. She added a bit of shading to bring the appropriate amount of light to the setting. Now all that was left was to add the fighters.
There were quite a lot of fighters. I’ll have to just add them as I go. she thought.
She began with a series of curved lines to outline the figures. She recounted various outfits and armor she saw and began to add various shapes and curves to the fighters. As she added more details, she suddenly became frustrated with her work. She couldn’t recall the exact details of the armor without directly looking at it.
Shoot! I should’ve been drawing during the fights! Pencil cursed at herself.
She slammed her notebook shut and put her things away for the time being. She internally sighed, disappointed in her inability to finish the drawing. Time was getting shorter and shorter for her with this commission and she knew it wouldn’t be too long before the client got bored of waiting. Why couldn’t she just stick to a drawing at least and finish it?
She looked at her saddlebag, then looked away, then looked at it again. She wanted to get it back out but she no longer knew what to add to her sketches. If she put anything, it wouldn’t come out right. She would just have to come back to it later and hope she would be in a better mood by then.

Sparkly put a chin to her hoof at Trilby’s speculation. It was not impossible for a clone of everyone to exist out there somewhere. She turned to Pencil briefly and chuckled in her head, imagining what it would be like to see two Pencils. Turning back to Trilby, she offered her thoughts.
“We may never to be able to find all of these clones but it is more than believable to me that they exist somewhere out there. It makes me wonder if there are clones on Earth as well. Seeing a duplicate of my human form would be intriguing to say the least.” she responded.
In the stadium, Samurai declared that his defeat was intentional, much to the shock of everyone in the stands. Sparkly shook her head and Pencil bore a look of concern, not sure how to take his statement. Alhimar then trotted towards the mic and offered his opinion, saying he was disappointed by the outcome. Sparkly listened intently, completely agreeing with everything he said. Pencil remained neutral but couldn’t help but wonder why Samurai fought to begin with if he was just going to lose.

Sparkly beamed at Dynamo. She was ecstatic at how interested he was about her previous and current form. She had quite a lot to talk about, but she would keep it brief for the sake of time. With her head held high and a proud smile on her face, she told the unicorn,
“The powder was a concoction I mixed as soon as I realized I needed to hide my identity. I ran into the forest—well, more like crawled, since I was not used to hooves—and found a variety of plants that I could crush into a faint mint color. Not only did I like the color but it was a far cry from Twilight Sparkle’s color.
When we get the chance, I would be glad to share with you my origin story as well as a bit of knowledge from Earth. I believe it would benefit you well, especially in terms of technology advancement.”
Pencil nodded in agreement to Dynamo’s comment about the tournament then fixed her gaze back towards the stadium. Sparkly turned as well, still smiling proudly.

“Good that someone is watching the shop for you, Trilby. Otherwise, I’d be concerned if you said you came all the way here and no one was watching over it.” Pencil replied.
Sparkly looked over and saw Dynamo approach with Bluebell in a wheelchair. She gave them a relieved smile, glad to see that Bluebell was out of the hospital. She stood up to greet them, prompting Pencil to stand up as well.
“It is good to see you again, Dynamo Pad and Bluebell. I am especially glad that Bluebell is here instead of the hospital. It is quite alright that you didn’t recognize me, Dynamo. My current appearance is my true form. The form you originally saw me in was merely a cover made from powder.
My real identity is that of a Princess Twilight Sparkle clone. However, I am not Twilight Sparkle, as my mind is that of someone from planet Earth. I am not sure how I arrived here nor am I sure how I arrived as a clone, but what I do know is I was sent here to reach Equestrians about the knowledge of Earth. My hope is that they use that knowledge to make a better Equestria.” she spoke to the blue unicorns.
Pencil’s ears perked as another announcement arrived from the speakers. According to some sort of vote, the Battle Royale was called off. Pencil sighed in relief, glad that a huge, chaotic fight was no longer a possibility. Instead, another series of 1x1s was going to commence.
“Well, I’m glad that mess is being avoided.” she said to no one in particular.

No sooner had the group arrived at the hospital had they decided to re-enter the fighting grounds. Sparkly and Pencil were rather confused by this: wasn’t everypony traumatized by everything that just happened? Seeing Dynamo practically pulverized was a heart-wrenching thing to think about. It made Pencil tear up and Sparkly’s gut tighten. Thankfully, not only was he not going to fight in this upcoming round, all three of the bullies were disqualified.
“Now it is just Samurai Equine and some out-of-town fighters left. Thankfully, they all seem to be fairly peaceful.” Sparkly told Pencil. As she waited for a reply, she smirked slightly when Cheap’s name was spoken about in jest. It was definitely an unflattering first name. Thankfully, Cheap could always rename himself if he wanted to.
“Do you think this tournament is gonna go on for the rest of time? Everyone seems to love it so much that it just might, hehe!” Pencil joked.
“I would think not, but considering its popularity, it is not completely out of the question. I imagine, at the very least, ponies will hold tournaments here on occasion when the timing is right.”
“Right, right.” Pencil looked down and kicked her legs back and forth absentmindedly. She found that amusing and continued to do it until the announcement of Samurai’s fight grabbed her attention.
Pencil and Sparkly watched curiously as a gigantic spider threatened to take Samurai down. What was with all the spiders lately? Sparkly shook her head and Pencil put a chin to her hoof. It was a bit hard to see the fighters from all the smoke and magic that Samurai hastily summoned, but the thrill of the action was still there. The two mares were quite curious to see how this fight would turn out, even if Samurai had a pretty good shot at winning.
Suddenly, the figure was revealed to be nothing more than a piece of origami. Pencil and Sparkly both quirked an eyebrow. They wondered how such a creature even got here. What was stranger was that it was disqualified on the spot.
“It got disqualified for not being completely alive? To be quite honest, I had no idea that was a rule. Given how Kronos, a cyborg, was allowed to fight, I didn’t think that was a consideration.” Sparkly commented, confusion arising in her voice.
“Well, we don’t know how much of Kronos is pony and how much is cyborg. Not much of a comparison we can make there. Still, a bit strange shinobis don’t count since they are known to be quite the fighters! Just, uh, be glad you weren’t here during the war against them!” Pencil replied, shuddering as she recollected her extensive battle against an army of swarming shinobi creatures.
“Perhaps this is something we can inquire from Samurai at a later time. I am also glad that I did not have to partake in a war but even more glad that you were not seriously harmed in battle.” Sparkly said with a relieved smile.

Once the magic transference had been completed, Pencil grunted as her horn began to feel numb, creating a pulsating sensation in her head. Sparkly’s wings went limp and she was unable to fly, just like the other pegasi in the room. They were not too bothered, however, as the pain was only a minor discomfort.
“I hope this is able to help Bluebell.” Pencil said.
“I am sure that it will.” Sparkly replied reassuringly.
The two mares waited in silence as everyone else adjusted to their physical ailments. Bingo was the only one unbothered as he was able to wield the power somehow. Sparkly quirked a brow in curiosity. The group talked amongst themselves, describing their issues so that they could take their mind off it some. The only one who wasn’t able to speak was Starlight as she had collapsed on the floor.
“Starlight! Are you okay?” Pencil shrieked.
Thankfully, the medical staff picked her up and began to take care of her. Her pain had transferred straight to her head which is why she lost consciousness. Pencil breathed in relief, glad Starlight was okay for the most part.
Meanwhile, some members of the group began wondering why they didn’t just transfer all of Bluebell’s pain to Cosmic. After all, he was the one who caused it. Both Pencil and Sparkly had their own opinions on the matter.
“That coward of a stallion deserves every bit of pain and more that Bluebell suffered!” she sneered, clenching her teeth. “If we weren’t in a hospital, I would deliver a fraction of that right now!”
“If we were to transfer all of the pain to him, he might become blind with hate and rage like he already was before,” Pencil commented. “Not only that, but what would we prove if we enacted revenge just like he did? Would we be any better for that?”
While the two mares pondered their thoughts, Dynamo had awoken. He stirred around frantically looking for Bluebell, even though she was right there next to him. Sparkly and Pencil strode over calmly to him to let him know that everything was going to be fine.
“There there, Dynamo, we have Bluebell all taken care of. We took out all the pain she was feeling and transferring a bit of it on to everyone. That way, the pain isn’t so much to bear.” Pencil said reassuringly.
“Cosmic, Cheap, and Frozen are also taken care of. Cosmic will only be able to comply with Samurai’s wishes, lest he be punished any more severely than he is now. Cheap is under Starlight’s captivity but he is thankfully more willing to comply. Frozen has learned from his ways and has proved himself trustworthy.” Sparkly told him.

Sparkly watched from above as Dynamo and Cosmic were at the heat of their battle. She also surveyed the area to make sure nopony tried to charge at Pencil again. Thankfully, she seemed to know what she was doing with her tool creation spell. The fight below continued and strong bursts of magic were shot between the two unicorns. Fury and vengeance consumed Cosmic while determination and friendship filles Dynamo with power.
The power Dynamo has inside of him is far greater than anything Cosmic possesses. He works hard for everything in life and always supports his friends. Cosmic on the other hoof, he takes the easy route in life, which will be unfulfilling in the long run Sparkly thought, pondering the outcome of the fight.
With one final blow, Dynamo succeeded and defeated Cosmic, leaving him with a slightly cracked horn. Now he couldn’t say anything about Dynamo’s horn since his now also has a disadvantage.
Sparkly smiled with satisfaction but Pencil frowned with concern. She looked up towards Sparkly and said,
“I know he had that coming, but I hope he’s okay.”
Sparkly nodded and flew down towards the area Dynamo and Cosmic were in. She picked up Pencil with her magic to carry her along. Pencil squirmed but did not protest since she was not dragged quickly enough to be annoyed or uncomfortable.

The Town That Friendship Forgot

It's not printed on any map ever sold.
It doesn't show up on any magical maps ever created.
Not even Princess Twilight knows it exists.
Still, if you ever choose to leave home...
If you are trying to find a place to belong, and no other location seems to work for you...
If you are brave enough to just let your heart lead the way, get past the forests, the fog, and follow a beaten dirt road...
Then maybe you two can find a huge town called Friendshire.
Here, anyone can get a second start at life.
It's a large town that wants for nothing, but it sure could use more citizens.
It could really use the magic of friendship, but more then that, it could really use some help.

In his own house, the only asian-themed house on his block, Samurai Equine is busy. In his own make-shift workshop, he has notes and string strung about, random tools on a desk, and more. He is looking at a small metal box with a lot of mechanical, steampunk-style parts all over it.
"...Nearly a year of toying with this magic contraption, and still no answers! What am I missing?!" Samurai says in frustration as he randomly turns dials, twists a crank, and flips a switch with his hoof. And then... It activates! Part of the box opens up near the top, and magically projects an image. "I did it?! I did it! Wait, is that... I recognize that! It's the front gate!" In a rush, Samurai puts on his formal attire and runs out while holding the box under his arm.
Meanwhile, at the front of the town, just past a sign that says "Welcome to Friendshire", lies a both just to the side of the main road.
Inside this booth is a census pony, wearing a fancy jacket and hat that makes him look more like a bellhop.
He is just sitting in there, bored out of his mind, until Samurai runs up. "Excuse me! Sorry to bother you, but has any pony come this way?" He asks. The census pony shakes his head. "Nope. Not a soul in years. No pony leaving, and no pony arriving either. The population has been stuck at the same number for who knows how long..."
Samurai looks at his box again, the magical projection gone for now. "I think this thing is telling me that we really need to start increasing the populace. But how? How do we attract more ponies into living her?" He asks himself, looking up in to the slightly foggy distance and trying to brain storm some ideas.
Little did he know, they wouldn't have to wait for very long...
