• Physical Description

  Plum Blossom is a dangerously cute young earth pony filly. She is about the same age as the CMCs, and is in Ms. Cheerilee's class. She was born in and lives in Ponyville. She is a student, but she already has a cutie mark (A plum blossom) because she knows that she will be a plum farmer when she grows up. She had a violet coat with a dark pink mane that she keeps straight. She also has a yellow bow for her hair and she likes to wear a plum blossom in her hair too. (Everypony always says she smells like plum blossoms. I wonder why...) 

• Backstory

  Plum Blossom is a member of the Plum family, which are plum farmers. Plum Blossom actually got her cutie mark pretty early on. Even before entering Ms. Cleerilees class, she knew she was going to be a plum farmer. There were many examples of when she helps out on the farm, and she likes the way they don't seem like chores. Also, Plum Blossom baked a Plum Cobbler with Pinkie Pie last weekend and it was so good it got sold out within ten minutes. Now she thinks she is really good at baking too.

• Personality

  She is a very outgoing pony, often quite talkative and full of energy, but can also be naive at times. She is also known for her love of adventures and is quick to jump into actions. Despite having her cutie mark already, she often likes to try discovering what else she likes. She also hates it when older ponies tell her she can't do something for whatever reason or that she shouldn't do what the CMCs are doing because she already has her talent.

   "Oh, yeah, right this way," Plum Blossom said, leading the group towards Ponyville. "Feel free to interrupt me at any time."
   "Anyways, this is the castle of friendship, where Twilight Sparkle lives. You should be able to see either the town hall or the castle of friendship wherever your are in Ponyville, so it's quite hard to get lost knowing those two landmarks. Right now, we are in the uptown, or northside of Ponyville. This is the town's entertainment district. There it the ritz, the billiards bar, the theater, the bowling alley, And the town's hayburger. Over slightly closer to downtown is the bookstore. Now the interesting thing about Ponyville's hayburger is that on weekends, the restaurant hosts the comedy club. Whenever Pinkie Pie participates, everypony knows it's going to be a fun time. I'm pretty sure one of these buildings is the one for trivia trot too, which Twilight is very good at. Any questions before we head downtown?" Skylight asked.

   "Thank you all so much," Sunny replied. "I didn't make these plans. From the looks of it, they are actually pretty old, which is surprising."
   Sunny and Plum Blossom quickly got to work with the others, with Sunny explaining the plans out loud to everyone, while Plum Blossom went around trying to help out where she could. She quickly discovered that she did  not, in fact, have super strength. She tried everything she could think of, but nothing worked. Because of this, she couldn't help but to look on in slight envy at the unicorns, who were able to move things around that she couldn't. In the end, she opted for digging smaller things out of the rubble that could have gotten crushed.
   By midday, the rubble had all been cleared and the concrete foundation had been poured.
   "Alright everypony! The concrete needs an hour to harden and dry, so we might as well break for lunch and take a look at the remnants we found," Sunny said, trying to maintain an optimistic look even though it was pretty clear she was still a bit saddened by her loss.
   "Opaline's Castle? What's that?" Plum Blossom asked, unrolling a map.

   "Yeah the plans call for significantly more glass than the original lighthouse had. Based on a rough estimate of what we can reuse from the old lighthouse, I think we'll need... this much of these materials," Sunny said as she jotted down a shopping list of building materials. "Now who here wants to get them?"
   "No, we aren't going to make it orange," Sunny replied to Mango. "But I think that rebuilding this lighthouse would be the perfect way to demonstrate each pony's magical abilities," Sunny said.
   "Oh I see, like unicorns can use their levitation and pegasi can fly around to get areal views of things. And earth ponies are probably super strong or something, I guess... Well then, let's get started clearing the rubble then," Plum Blossom chirped. She immediately got to work shifting around some of the rubble to prepare the area for rebuilding.
   Sunny looked around to see anypony could get the materials from the list. Once she got a volunteer, she would wave the rest over to help clear the rubble.

   "You see, the thing is that we ponies have a tradition of growing the fruits that are our family names. So if you want pears, you are going to have to talk to the pear family. And no, there aren't that many ponies working on our farm. It's usually just three to four, depending if I can help out," Plum Blossom and Apple Bloom said simultaneously.
   "Anyways, I'm bored, can we at least do something while we talk about farms?" Plum Blossom complained, trying really hard not to make it sound like she was whining.
   Apple Bloom handed her a mug of apple juice, which quieted down Plum Blossom. "Well there isn't really much going on on the farm right now, but if you are doing anything interesting, I don't mind tagging along," she said.

   "Yeah I have the blueprints. Ok then, let's go!" Sunny exclaimed as she ate a few pancakes she lead the group out towards the lighthouse. Plum Blossom quickly finished her pancakes and followed right behind Sunny after she set her plate in the sink. 
   "So these are the blueprints," Sunny said, unrolling the blueprints for the others to see on the walk over. "Huh, they look different in the light."
   Plum Blossom looked over at it. Sure enough, in the sunlight, the blueprints looked different. It was still a lighthouse, but this one called for glass roof to let the rainbow beam shine through. There were several other differences too, which made Plum Blossom a bit confused. Then, she noticed the title.
   "Post magic restoration lighthouse plans. Ok then... Well, we are here. We can the parts from the old lighthouse to rebuild this," Sunny noted, pointing to the rubble.

   "Of course earth ponies have magic. For example, Pinkie Pie... Oh wait, Pinkie Pie is a bad example. Actually, Applejack is a good example. She used her magic to grow apples, which were famous throughout Ponyville," Sunny explained. "Um, you know that funny feeling you got yesterday evening when magic was restored? Well try to concentrate that magic in your hooves." Sunny explained, and then cringing in reaction to the Plum family's confused looks. "You know what? Never mind.Anyways, we were going to rebuild a lighthouse today, right?"
   "Oh yeah!" Plum Blossom said. she quickly finished eating her pancakes. "Mom, can I go help Sunny rebuild her lighthouse?"
   "Sure you can, sweetheart," Mirabelle Plum replied.

   "Um, not to burst your bubble, but while I certainly feel different since the crystals reunited yesterday evening, I haven't gained any new magical abilities," Mirabelle Plum said. "Yeah," Plum Blossom's dad and older sister agreed.
   "Ohh," Plum Blossom said, "Well that just means we have to try harder to find out what earth pony magic is!" she exclaimed. "Also, why wouldn't the unicorns and pegasi be accepted in Maretime Bay?" Plum Blossom asked naively.
   "Huh? What's going on?" Sunny mumbled as she stumbled down the stairs, only half awake. She sat down at the chair that Mirabelle Plum gestured to and poured herself a cup of tea, waiting for the caffeine to kick in and wake her up.

    "Well, we just talked about what we do most of the time. As for animals, our families have cows and chickens an pigs and sheep. All the usual farm animals, you know," Plum Blossom and Apple Bloom explained.
    "Of course the Apple family is the best at growing apples. What do you think we would be good at growing oranges or something in this kind of climate? Of course not! It's just like how the Plum family is the best at growing Plums around here," Plum Blossom explained. 
    "Uh, who are you looking at?" Apple Bloom asked.

   OOC: 
   Plum Blossom admired the rainbow explosion of colors dissipating across the evening sky in Maretime Bay. The burst of colors light up the sky like it was the middle of the day. Earth pony turned alicorn Sunny Starscout had just returned magic to Equestria, and the air felt alive with excitment and activity. In the main plaza of Maretime Bay, ponies of all three species can be seen interacting with each other. Pegasi can be seen flying with their newfound magic. Some fillies were admiring Alphabittle and Queen Haven. There was a pair of unicorns putting the trolley back in it's tracks. In addition, Pipp could be seen taking a picture of all three species together before gathering with the rest of the Mane five.
   The past week had been a whirlwind of change leading up to magic being restored. First, Izzy the unicorn showed up in town, then she ran off with Sunny. Soon afterwards, Hitch ran off too, and Sprout was determined that in order to prevent the other species from doing anything to them, they must create a giant army and a robot of Sprout. However, Sunny came back from her adventures and somehow managed to convince the three pony species to try and stop Sprout, which caused the robot to destroy Sunny's lighthouse and three crystals to reintroduce magic to Equestria.
   "Oh my gosh! This is so exciting! Earth pony magic is back! We are going to be able to do so many new things and stuff... Wait, what kind of things can you do with Earth pony magic?" Plum Blossom asked herself. She noticed a young filly pegasus about her age and approached her. "Hi new friend! My name is Plum Blossom! Isn't this so exciting?" she greeted.

   Welcome one and all to our new and improved Ask Thread! Come on in and take a look around. We've got snacks, refreshments, and plenty of room for guests.    The crisp morning air went through the town of Ponyville as the day began it's usual rhythm. Early rising ponys awakened and yawningly began on their day ahead of everypony else, preparing the shops and dutys that had to be done before the buzzing life began in the currently scarce town.
    
   The smell of baked goods and the far in between sound of hoofs slowly marching on the vacant ground began to mix in the air and give a sense of life awakening a little by little after yet another sleepy night passing by.
    
   For the inhabitants of the town it was a day like many others, but who was to say what the day would bring? Perhaps some things, or some ponys, would make this day stand out amongst the peaceful ones that had passed?
    
   Alas, the time was not for questions. The workers had their things to attend before the general populace would arise and little time to do it in, leaving the thought unsaid as they began their daily tasks and a low hum of activity started of the day.
