• Physical Description

  Seline is a jet black Earth Pony mare with a white mane and tail. Orange eyes. Light blue highlights in her mane, average height. 

• Backstory

  Seline's early years were normal. Her parents were the average sort, not too terribly impressive either way you slice it. She had found a gold medallion in a haunted house and carried it throughout her youth. When she let go of it, that's when she got her cutie mark. Rather gifted she is, in the art of paranormal.
  
  Seline had found the abandoned hydroelectric dam on the river. With the light of the moon she could easily make out everything in the night. Meteors fell from the night sky occasionally.  The cool breeze rustled in her black straight hair as she walked off the side of the road. She felt alert, aware of her surroundings. The Moon's light was a natural instinct to be aware and alert; more so than normal. 

  She rustled through the brush, carefully stepping over rocks so she wouldn't trip. She was walking on a sort of downward hill-slope. The water sloshed further below. It was peak tide. More meteors fell from the sky, but her mind ignored them. Her mind almost lost in a daze. She has been here several times in the past. In her pocket she carried a large gold medallion. One that she had carried with her for the past couple of weeks. Seline kept on walking, eventually the slope smoothing out which allowed her to walk more normal. Nobody was around. It was silent aside from the occasional crickets. She kept walking.

  Seline finally reached side. The weeds were high amongst the construction of the old dam. She circled around to the back entrance, the rusty door being left open by the last visitor to the gate. Faded signs were on the door. Some of them warning labels. Labels she didn't heed. She didn't bother putting a mask, or even a shirt over her face and walked in. Her foot-steps were quiet, almost silent. The light from the moon illuminated the interior; well enough for her to see.

  She walked into the dam, past the entrance area. There was lots of graffiti on the walls, smashed glass all over the floor amongst trash and various debris about the area. Many people have come and went here. She glanced over at the various graffiti, a bit displeased by the vulgar messages it read. She carried on and was sure to not make much noise. Being totally alone, she was well alert. Her eyes constantly darted from side to side, looking about almost constantly. It was reflexive, not at all conscious at least she thought. It was her natural instinct kicking in. Her eyes fully adjusted to the light. She could see everything almost as clear as day, one could say. 

  Seline heard some noises. It sounded like a person walking but then suddenly silence. She knew this place was haunted, but she was no stranger to the supernatural. She had her experiences, but, she pressed on. Soon enough she reached the fenced off area, the murky green water glimmering slightly in the Moonlight. It smelled a bit of a foul smell. Rusty and chemical filled water. At the bottom of the pool, there was much debris. Coins, and medallions not unlike that of her own littered the bottom of it. She walked closer to what she wanted to see. The Whirlpool.
  
  The construction of the pool of water and the way the water was created a natural whirlpool close up against the wall. She looked at it, it wasn't too big, nor too small. But it was silent. Dead silent. She pulled out her medallion and hung it from her fingers infront of the moon, and twisted it in her hand slightly. The insignia and gold design of it reflected in her eyes, her eyes adjusting to the light almost instantly.

  Then with a good throw, she tossed it into the whirlpool. Her experiences, thoughts, she had all implanted onto it in prior times. She assigned it meaning. Something that, someone foreign to it wouldn't have understood. What meant something to her, would mean nothing to someone else.

  It hit the water with a loud, echoing kur-plunk. She watched it slowly twirl and fall to the bottom, shimmering in the Moonlight as it delicately fell onto the bottom. She had placed her offering to the whirlpool. The whirlpool that safe-guarded many people's experiences. Seline turned away and headed out the way she came. She then glanced at the other moon, white, pale, and calm in contrast to the other. Smaller, further. She then walked away from the scene of it all, replaying the events in her mind over and over before that was all drowned out in other thoughts, and her natural instinct.
  
  When she got home that night, that's when she got her cutie mark. Signifying her perception of experiences. It was a Skull with a ghostly figure behind it. Yet so few would understand. Like that, she would continue speaking to ghosts and solving paranormal issues across Equestria, when so few would take to her name.

• Personality

  Seline is a mare of multiple perceptions and imparting upon her perceptions to various different degrees. She prefers to be quiet, but in situations where resolution is needed she can be quite a diplomatic and resounding force. Seline can combine the gifts of both perceptions and communication to create a detailed code of behavior and communication. She keeps her mind clean of impure influences, often remarking that others clean up their own 'beaches'.
