  1. Phantom Dancer @@FortyTwo42, His friendly approach seemed to be paying off. This was good. He was on his way to earning a new ally. "It's ok, ma'am. Just take it easy and stay quiet. Maybe you could help me? See, I was going to secure weapons for myself and the others, and bring them back before figuring out the next step of our plan. Perhaps I could help you get home in return for your help." Again, his response was measured carefully to evoke a friendly response. Her apparent lack of fighting skill was regrettable, but it could be solved in time. Something he didn't have right now, but he'd have think of a way to work around it and her lack of fighting skill. One thing was definitely certain, though. She was no good to him if she died. "Listen, if we make it out of here, I could teach you a thing or two so you can at least defend yourself. Good thing for Pegasus military training, isn't it?" He said, flashing a reassuring smile.
  2. Phantom Dancer @@FortyTwo42, At the sound of a pony shouting after him, he did a backflip to close the distance between him and the shouting pony, using his wings to assist with the maneuver and muffling his landing before turning and giving her a somewhat worried expression. "Ma'am, please be quiet. If you keep yelling, you could give away our position to any guards that injured mare may have missed, or whatever is behind that door. So, please quiet down and we'll all stand a better chance, ok?" He asked, carefully measuring his response to try and seem friendly. After all, she may possess talents useful to his ends.
  3. @@Hypn0ticD, ((Shitty post, but should get us moving a little.)) Pinkie smiled at Erick, unperturbed at his appearance. "Okie dokie lokie!." She said cheerfully, heading back to the couch and setting the phone on the coffee table. Within moments, she was looking for something else to occupy her time. Maybe the big window...whatever Erick had called it that she didn't instantly recall...would be easier to work out. "How do I turn on the big window box thingy?!" She called out, treading the line between curiosity and determination not to leave people alone.
  4. Phantom Dancer Phantom started off in the direction the mare had just come from. He'd evaluate the others later, as the more pressing matter was arming himself and possibly the others. It was necessary that they be able to defend themselves, but Phantom was unsure about trusting them yet. His heart almost leapt into his throat when he heard the sound of hooves impacting on iron. He looked back, eyes wide in a combination of fear and disbelief that one of them had just tried to kick open a heavy iron door. Based on the mare's reaction, he'd assume that in addition to blowing their cover, he'd tried to open the door in the wrong direction. It would seem he should've evaluated them a little before going to acquire weapons but now that really was their priority. Before there was the chance a guard might have detected them. Now it was practically guaranteed. He bolted for the armoury as quickly as his legs would carrying him, keeping eyes open for signs or clues that would tell him if he was going the right direction and how far away it was.
  5. @@Hypn0ticD, Poppy was irritated. Well, irritated may not be the right word. More like some strange combination of fright, anger, and pain. Fright at being in an unfamiliar world, anger being her dislike of surprises being made worse by the aforementioned fright, and pain because she'd landed on her bum after an unsuccessful attempt to stand up. She'd been on her first holiday in a while, after working long hours to save up the bits for it. Now...well, she had no idea what she was, what had happened to her body and it all just made her realize how badly she needed a drink right now. She tried once again to get up and hobble...somewhere.. She wasn't entirely sure of her surroundings yet, but it looked like a house. "Well, good a place as any to start..." She muttered, trying to stand up again. As she did, she thought of how her day had gone. She'd been having fun for once, and she could've sworn she saw an old friend there, but she didn't get her chance to catch up when these bug things decided to crash the party. She vaguely remembered ponies running and screaming and she just tried to find a place to hide, since she was no fighter. Then these weird holes started opening up and swallowing ponies. And she was unfortunate enough to be caught in one of them. Everything had happened quickly, and she didn't have much time to process everything. If nothing else, she had time to try and make sense of things now.
  6. Dash ducked back behind the armour plating of Spitfire's Ogre, switching to her Mag Launcher and opening fire over the top of the titan. Watching the red warning signs shrink into the distance, Dash kept firing, trying to do what damage she could to the enemy before Spitfire got close. While firing, she got on the comms to Wrench. "How's Nataliya? She lookin' better?" Dash asked. She may need her Titan soon enough.
  7. @@Love, (Rebooting Alex's story in 3... 2... 1... Let's jam!) He was the greatest on the battlefield. Unmatched by man or machine. Peeking out from behind a sheet of metal, he picked off an enemy sniper with a well-placed headshot then bolted for a new hiding place before the enemy found him, picking up his enemy’s gun on the way. He cloaked and waited for his next target, before leaping onto the metal hulk’s back. “Yeehaw!” He exclaimed, pouring bullets into the exposed circuits on the back. Just a few more seconds and the battle was over… Then it disconnected. “Come on! I was this bloody close!” Alex Jones yelled. He had been playing Titanfall, one of his favourite games, for a good portion of the night and was getting pretty good at it. The parkour was his favourite part, especially when it let him get really high and snipe from a distance or just pull daredevil stunts with a 50% chance of succeeding. But his fun had been ruined tonight. He groaned and tried to remove the disc from his console, except...no power for a few seconds. He checked his phone for a text from his dad, who had said he was going to be out of town for a week. "Right... On my own. Well, maybe it won't be so bad. I hope..." His thoughts were cut off as he thought he saw something odd outside. Fetching an AirSoft gun from his nightstand, the gun being a prop he sometimes used in videos he posted on YouTube and would probably serve as a deterrent enough to ward off would-be theives, he headed downstairs to peek out the window. @@Hypn0ticD, Unlike Stephen, Chrysalis had not cooled down. If anything, she was angrier than before and edging into bitter and hateful now, visible but barely held back and she was struggling to get it back under control. She glared at Stephen for a moment after he finished speaking before taking a deep breath, thinking carefully about what she wanted to say and trying to put on a smile. One slip of the tongue could have her screaming at the top of her lungs at Stephen and would result in something unpleasant. "Thank you. I'll try not to inconvenience you like that in future." She said, forgoing the smile in favour of a more polite and strained tone. (This was all I could come up with )
  8. Phantom Dancer He sat in the corner of his cell, his mane a frightful patchwork of white, gold and dirt. His seemingly red coat was similarly mismatched as the dye faded and got smothered with dirt. He'd almost given up hope of ever getting out. Not that he had much ambition if he ever did. He had no family, no friends, no contacts in Canterlot. He'd forgotten why he started doing what he did, and could no longer consciously recall it. He just was. Not that he allowed it to bother him. Sometimes a pony needed killing, and he was there, ready to fulfill the request and get paid. It was no more than business, where emotions had no place. Not that it mattered now. He had all but accepted that he was going to die here... ...Until that mare came to set them free. Not one to turn down the opportunity, he was up and ready within moments. "Which way to the armoury?" He asked bluntly. If she just took down the guards, based on her injuries and the amount of blood on her and the ground, then more would follow. He'd need a plan, an idea, or a weapon. Preferably all three, but not all operations allow the time. This one likely wouldn't allow him such a luxury.
  9. @@GeneralDirection, "Well, Applejack can't fly or do magic either, and you don't find her boring. I can't fly or do magic by myself and you don't find me boring. Just give 'em a chance, Dashie. Who knows what kind fun things they like to do? But we need to plan a party for them when they arrive, so will I need my party cannon? It make it so much faster and more portable, but the old fashioned way is good too..." Pinkie said, starting to ramble on about methods of planning a party, but hopefully she got her initial point across, since she had one for once. "Oh! Hold that thought! Gotta check the cupcakes!" Pinkie exclaimed, racing into the kitchen to check on the cupcakes she was baking for their meetup at Twilight's castle. They weren't quite ready yet, but they would be by the time they all got together.
  10. Noble's day began like any other, and he made sure to go through his daily routine. Starting with a good breakfast, then magic practice to make sure he remained at top condition. Then firearm practice to keep his aim and reflexes keen. Finally, he would sit down to check the news before going about his duties. He was a Concider, pledged to protect the city and the system from the Outliers that he considered to be misguided terrorists. Even if the system is wrong, the alternative was practically extinction. It was merely choosing the lesser of two evils, and Noble himself held out hope for a better future. His thoughts were interrupted as he heard the report of the attack on the High Ryse district. Snatching up his gun and holstering it, hiding it under a dark coat, he raced to the scene as fast as he could, calling in his back up on the way.
  11. [/b]@, @@~Chaotic Eddie~, Dash looked up as somepony called to her, offering his helmet. One of Ahaban's buddies, it looked like. She'd get his name later, but for now, he offered a helmet and she needed one. She headed over to grab it. "Thanks, pal. Nice of ya to help a mare out. I'll do my best to bring it back in one piece, though I don't think that'll be too hard." She said, anxious to get things started. Once she had the helm in hand, she headed over to Spitfire's Titan. "Everypony ready?"

I don't know about ProJared reference, since I'm not too familiar with his work, but it is a Star Wars reference.

Huh. Perhaps it is a Star Wars reference that ProJared referenced. :o This explains everything!

  13. As soon as the distress call came through, Dash knew what to do. She took on a more commanding tone. "You heard the lady. Suit up and roll out!" She said, racing back to pick up the rest of her gear. Her Carbine and Anti-Titan weapon were soon in their proper place. All Dash needed now was a helmet. Best bet was the armoury, but she couldn't afford to waste time, so it was better to ask for sure rather than spend ages looking. If nopony knew, she'd have to go without. She headed back out with all her gear. "Anypony got a spare helmet in my size?" She asked, doubting that anypony would carry a spare helmet to begin with, let alone in her size.
  14. Poppy Seed @@Scribblegroove, @@SilverHeart, She started enjoying the scenery, the chance to relax quietly away from the noise of the city. And then she remembered that she was being followed by the stallion who left the snot in Cherry's mane. She wasn't exactly sure why he was following her other than the fact that she was alone, but she kept an eye on him. As they reached the docks and saw the sorry state it was in, still being renovated for the resort's eventual opening, Poppy sighed. She'd planned to relax by the river, but there was no way she could relax here. "Yeah...It's rustic alright..." She said when the stallion spoke, heading over to help the mare with the nets. "Hello. Would you like some help with that?" Poppy asked as she approached the mare, putting on a friendly smile.
  15. @@GeneralDirection, Pinkie had been her usual self for most of yesterday. Until news of these aliens, the 'Hu-manes', hit the streets. After that, Pinkie was in high gear all day. She was nervous and excited, then excited and nervous. She'd gone and rambled to Applejack for a while before doing Pinkie things, maybe thinking Pinkie thoughts. And just why wouldn't she be allowed to use the Party Cannon? Hu-manes weren't that skittish, were they? Today, she'd gone to see Rainbow Dash and tell her about the news and that they were gonna meet up at Twilight's castle later on. She'd been so excited and nervous. Excited and nervous. And sugar might be rushing through her from breakfast. While waiting for the others to arrive, she went back to Sugarcube Corner to do a little baking. Snacks were always good and a meeting without snacks was like peanut butter without jelly. Or so it went in Pinkie's mind. Which was...Pinkie-er than usual. She spotted Dash walk in just before she went out to the bakery. "Hiya, Dashie! Did I wake you before? I know you like your naps, but this was really exciting! And scary! It was exciting and scary at the same time! What do you think the Hu-manes are gonna be like? Will my Party Cannon scare them?" Pinkie said at a mile a minute, her characteristic motor-mouth running away with her once again.
  16. “Ok… Here goes!” A male voice said before a guitar riff played over a montage of explosions and anime characters before finally a screen with the channel name ‘AJVoiceOvers’ was displayed. It faded out to a boy with brown hair looking into a camera while gameplay of Halo 4 played on a larger screen. “Greetings, salutations and all around, what’s up? AJ from AJVoiceOvers here and I have a bit of an announcement that is just kind of killing me inside. See, today is proof that if you are particularly persistent and nag someone long enough, they’ll eventually cave. If only because they can’t reach through the screen to punch you.” He gave the screen a small grin that was likely meant to be played for laughs despite the very real annoyance and anger behind it. “So, I’ve entered some kind of brony contest, probably a ploy by the bronies to get me to ‘join the herd’. It’s a load of bull and there’s no way in heaven or hell I’m going to win, but I entered anyway so people will quit bugging me about the girliest website I’d ever seen. Ugh…I had to watch a Michael Bay movie just to drive it from my mind. That’s what you lot drove me to and I hold the lot of you responsible for the drop in IQ I’ve likely suffered from this endeavour. So, thanks a whole bunch there…” He spoke calmly for the most part, occasionally giving the camera a sarcastic smirk, especially towards the end. He sighed, timed to when his SPARTAN died. “Anyway, this was basically just an update with some kinda big news, kinda letting you people know that I’m still being pestered to do pony-related things, and just the same old stuff. No Vegeta because I actually value my vocal cords, no ponies until people stop bugging me about them, and no Five Nights at Freddy’s because it’s not cool. It’s not fun, and I will have an aneurysm from trying not to get ticked at the nonsense going on in those games. So, uh, with that said, I’m gonna go record some Battlefield 4 footage for my next song. Ah’m AJ from AJVoiceOvers, signin’ off.” He pointed his finger at the camera like a gun. “Bang…” A guitar riff played him out as he said his outro. And AJ leaned back in his seat after playing the video back to see if he missed anything while editing. “My accent had to come out right there, didn’t it?” He asked, a little annoyed since he shared his initials with a pony and the bronies often asked him to play a genderbent version of said pony. His actual name was Alex Jones, but shortened his name to initials for YouTube. “Ah well… Time to work on that song.”
  17. Poppy Seed @@Scribblegroove, Poppy didn't notice she was being followed at first, enjoying the peace and quiet and the sounds of nature around her rather than a bustling crowded bar. Then a voice spoke. "Very astute, hun. I'm on my own because my roommate is taking a nap and doesn't want to be disturbed right now. I already went and checked it out." She said, half-hoping this stallion, whoever he was, would go away. But he didn't. She already marked the socializing for the dinner and the next day, which had left today open for some alone time that she planned to spend by the docks. Now she had a stallion hanging around out of nowhere. It wasn't even his fault that this annoyed Poppy. She just hated things coming up out of nowhere. "I'm going to the docks because I wanted to, and because I was already planning to get to know everypony tonight or tomorrow. Since you've apparently followed me this far, you might as well tag along. Try anything funny and I'll belt you one, ok hun?" It didn't take Poppy long to slip back into her old vocabulary and habits despite trying to reign them in for the better part of the day.
  18. @@Hypn0ticD, "Thank you!" Shawn said as he sat up straighter in bed. "You didn't have to go through the trouble!" Aegis giggled. "Yeah, I did. I had to do something to thank you for helping me last night and giving me a place to stay." He said, continuing to smile at Shawn. He watched expectantly as Shawn tried the omelette and his eyes practically lit up when Shawn declared it the best eggs he'd ever tasted. "Really? Thanks, Shawn. It means a lot to-" He was cut off as Shawn kissed his cheek. His heart started to beat faster and his cheeks turned bright pink. "Thanks, sweetie!" Aegis giggled shyly. "Y-you're welcome...sweetie..." ((Go for it ^^)
  19. @, "Used to be a weatherpony in Ponyville, before the war. Pretty sure you know how I became the Element of Loyalty...I mean, who hasn't heard of how we beat Nightmare Moon back in the day? I always wanted to join the Wonderbolts. I had the chance once, but at the time, I couldn't take it." Dash said, fondly recalling memories of her days before the war. But what she'd told was only a small part of it. "I've done a lot in a short time, so not all of it comes to mind right away." Dash said, omitting a third reason for not delving into more detail. She missed her friends quite a bit, and refused to cry in front of the team.
  20. @, "I'm the one and only Rainbow Dash, Element of Loyalty and top-rank Titan pilot. You might've heard of me at some point, hopefully nothing bad. Hehe..." Dash said, getting louder as she started losing confidence again. "So, uh, you a pilot, Tempest?" She asked, hopefully setting up some kind of discussion the avoided unpleasantness.
  21. @, Dash put on the most confident expression she could handle and shook Ahaban's hoof. "The honor is mine, Ahaban. I look forward to working with you all, and ending this war for good. And I'm not a Commander. Officially speaking, I'm listed as MIA, if not KIA." So far, not as bad as she'd thought it would go, but she figured there was some level of dislike towards her. She may have to prove her loyalty to the team.
  22. Poppy Seed After finishing her tea and scones, Poppy found herself in a bit of a predicament. With so much choice, she could barely decide what to do or where to go. In such instances, she'd usually go to her room and think for a while, but Dove had seemed upset and needed some alone time. As much as she'd love to chat with Rosewood some more, Rosewood was probably busy around now, so that was out of the question. Then it hit her. She had a plan to go see the docks already, so why didn't she just follow her original plan instead of coming up with a new one? 'See, Poppy? There's plenty to do if you just put your noggin to use.' She thought to herself as she set her empty teacup on the table and headed outside, making her way to the docks at a leisurely pace.
  23. Aaren Grey @@SilverHeart, @, @, Aaren's eyes narrowed when Silne said she showed mercy. He wanted to tell her that her brand of mercy wasn't mercy, but he thought better of it. She would probably just call him weak and he already had enough to think about as it was. He simply sighed. "Yes. We should..." He should've known better. His personality was in conflict with what the Hunters expected, yet his mentor had passed him all the same. And not once did Aaren stop to ask why. Why would his mentor pass someone like Aaren? He didn't know and his mentor wasn't here to ask. 'Even so, that's in the past and I don't have the time or the desire to go diving back into it right now. Maybe never will. For now...Just try to get along with them as best I can. Keep my mouth shut and I'll be fine...'
  24. @@Hypn0ticD, "Ooh, what does this thing do? Oh! Is this like cameras back home? Will it take a picture of me?" Pinkie asked, before gasping as an idea came to her. "Would Erick get one for me? Hmm...But how would I pay him back for it? Maybe we can figure that out when we come to it. So how do I use this thingy?" Pinkie inspected the phone, trying to figure out how to use the camera. After all, Erick might want a picture of her on it. She certainly thought she was adorable, so why wouldn't Erick? Then she ended up closing the camera function by accident. "Oops. How do I bring it back up? Hmmm... Maybe I should ask Erick to show me how to use this thing." She went over to the bathroom door and knocked. "Hey, Erick! How do I use this phone thingy? I dunno how it works!" Pinkie called out, maybe a bit louder than was necessary.
  25. @@~Chaotic Eddie~ "It's hard to get good pilots. They're usually first on the dropship. Usually..." Dash said, starting to trail off, since she was here because she missed her dropship. She walked with Spitfire to the hangar doors, mentally bracing herself for what lay ahead of her.
