  1. I'd trust her with my kids. Sure, her attitude/behavior might not make her the best role model, but she is loyal, dependable, and always strives to be the best at everything, so she'd definitely put in the effort.
  2. It will look the same regardless, but I'm curious if it would appear mirrored or not. If it's mirrored, the heads in the note will face Vinyl's head, putting them to the right of the stem. This would mimic the behavior of every other cutie mark in the show, but it will also would mean that it's no longer a musical note, as the heads in notes are always to the left of the stem. If it's not mirrored (so the heads remain to the left of the stem), then it would still be a musical note, but this would also mean that it would make it the only cutie mark that did that.
  3. This has been bugging me for a while. I've noticed that cutie marks always seem to maintain their orientation relative to which way the pony is facing. For example, look at Twilight's cutie mark - one large star surrounded by five smaller ones. Out of the five smaller stars, three are always closer to her head than the large star, while two are always closer to her tail, regardless of which way she's facing. The same seems to apply to all ponies. In Trixie's cutie mark, the opening in the crescent moon faces her head, no matter if you're looking at her left cutie mark or her right one. Fluttershy - the butterfly closest to her head slants towards her head, the other two slant towards her tail, again on both flanks. Vinyl's cutie mark, however, has me curious. On her left flank, her cutie mark is a standard musical note, with the heads of the note to the left of the stems (facing towards her head). However, we've yet to see her cutie mark on her right flank, and I can't help but wonder what it looks like. On one hoof, based on every other cutie mark we've seen, you'd think that her cutie mark would be reversed - the heads in the musical note to the right of the stems - so that the shape of the cutie mark will maintain orientation towards the direction she is facing, like every other pony. However, if that happens, then the cutie mark on her right flank would not be a musical note anymore, as they don't face that way. On the other hoof, if the heads of the note remain to the left of the stems on her right flank, it would still be a valid musical note, but at the same time, it would contradict the way every other cutie mark is mirrored. So with that in mind, which way do you think her right cutie mark faces?
  4. Just imagine the view though - during the day, you'd be able to see for miles from your own window. And at night, you'd have a view of the night sky so close and unobstructed that it'd make Twilight jealous.

    technology Operating Systems

At home, I use Win7 Pro x64 on my desktop and Win7 Home x64 on my laptop. At work, I have Win7 Pro x64 running on both my desktop and laptop, though I frequently work on computers running WinXP Pro, Win7 Pro (x86 and x64), Mac OS 10.4, Win2003 Standard (x86), Win2008 Standard and Enterprise (x64) and Ubuntu Linux Server (x64).
  6. I used to assume that computers and technology generally worked the way that they were intended to work.
  7. Being more of a computer gamer, cartridges are out of the question for me. Though I absolutely loved them when I had a N64. I do like CDs and DVDs - as long as you're careful, they're easy to take care of. Plus you can install games off of a CD/DVD very quickly, and it's very easy to make a backup of them in case they do get damaged. Downloads, it depends on how they're presented. I do like Steam, but it has some disadvantages, namely how if I want to install a game on both my desktop and laptop, I have to download it from the Internet twice (even if you have a high speed connection, downloads are always slower than installing from physical media). Plus downloads to scare me a little. Without having a physical copy, I'm entirely dependent on the download being available for me to install it. What if two years from now I have to reinstall Windows on my computer, and then when I try to go reinstall Portal, I find out that the download has been removed from Steam for whatever reason - at that point I'm out of a game.
  8. If I had the choice - Cloudsdale. I love the sky, so living in it would be awesome!

    Hello

Hi all! I'm Joey. I've been a brony for about half a year now. Back in July, I've seen numerous MLP references, but didn't think much about it, thinking it was just the latest fad meme or something. However, I noticed a few of my friends on Facebook kept talking about it, and then after I saw a video of the Trailer for Serenity recreated using scenes from FiM, I decided to give the show a try. I became hooked rather quickly. Since joining the fandom, I started drawing vector graphics in Illustrator, focusing on creating show-style-accurate vectors. I started by tracing scenes from the show, but recently I've been moving towards drawing custom poses/OCs. My favorite pony would have to be Twilight, as I can relate to her rather well. I'm a huge nerd who's fascinated by science, and I've spent most of my life being antisocial, preferring to do research on wikipedia or take things apart to see how they work instead of going out and making friends. Furthermore (And much to my surprise), I've developed a reading addiction since joining this fandom thanks to all the fanfics, having read almost 200 different fics in just the past six months.
