      Honestly, it felt really tacked on to me. At least the ending of Rainbow Rocks was built up to and the supernatural stuff is woven into the story and what the Mane Six have to do. Evil Twilight was not set up at all. It makes no sense given what we've already seen. It's just an attempt to distract people from the fact that they didn't have anything planned for a finale, much like how the final round of the games was that lame capture the flag crap.
