Here are the rules of Chaos Magick (which have been aided by Carl Jung)

    1. We create our own gods (archetypes) and every religion is true while not being true.

    2. Chaos is not disorder, it is order our perception cannot yet understand.

    3. Chaos does not imply there is no Creator, it just makes Eris a whole lot more likely of being that Creator.

    4. Chaos does not go without morals. There are morals... called logic. Atheism figured this out a while ago.

    5. Hot dog buns are powerful items of change.

    6. In order to understand your full self, you have to let yourself sink into the Void - that which is nothingness. The Hindus call it "Brahman" and the Taoists call it "The Tao". It is the center of all enlightenment, or enlightenment manifest.

    7. Wicca is nothing more than feminist sadism. Lol @ Wicca.

    8. You're awesome, and a whole lot more than what's inside of your head.

Culture Collision, my podcast group, is going to be doing a podcast called:

Silver Ravenwolf Versus Aleister Crowley: Who's More Relevant In The Modern Age?

I'd like to find a Wiccan to join us and discuss this topic, since we have no one in the group who happens to be Wiccan. If you want to join just add me on Skype (it's on my profile).

    Thanks again.

When you walk into a theater to see a play the first thought to cross your mind is usually that the entire experience is not real. The actors have a completely separate goal, which is to conspire to make you believe the entire experience is real.

They want you to laugh when a humorous scene happens or cry when a character dies. They want you to believe that what you are witnessing is real and happening right in front of you.

Take that same concept and apply it to everyday life.
Ask yourself what divides reality from a fictional experience. Is it that the events you see outside of the theater are "real"? What makes them real? Is it that they effect you personally or could potentially effect you personally?
In Hindu mythology it is said that the world is God's theater and we are both participating as the actors and audience. In essence, there is no differentiation between God and man; and if we believe that this life is more than just an act happening each time the Sun rises in the east and sets in the west, we have missed the point entirely. I am not saying that you should think this way or make this your center of thought, but you should play with it.

Think about what life would be like if you knew it was a play, something that wasn't real. How would you change? How would you view death?
On the topic of death, it should be said that even the concept of dying is completely misunderstood. Death to the American public means the end of your ego and yourself, you are no more than a memory. All life leads up to is death and nothing really matters because you will one day pass away.

But what if that's not the case? Because after you really think about it, considering yourself more than just flesh and bone, what if life is a lesson and death is the end of that lesson, reincarnation is the beginning of the next lesson and the time in between (the astral plane) is "summer break"?

What if life is a lesson in the cosmic drama school?

    Look around your room.

Quietly tell yourself what you see.

Why are these things, these things? Do you know why?
    Because you give them meaning.

Let me explain it in terms that everyone can understand a bit better:

To a cat, a car is nothing more than a place to sit in the mid-morning sun. To us it is a vehicle to transport us from point 'a' to point 'b'. Though it may be useful to us, a cat has no reason to use a car to get around.
Every sentient being gives everything it sees a meaning and a purpose. We become attached to these meanings, believing them to be the ultimate reality.

We are simply just manipulating reality, forming it to our own relative belief.

To some of us, reality is nothing more than what science can explain.
To others it is created by a higher being.
And to some, it's completely nonexistent altogether - nothing more than an illusion.

I dealt with a lot of difficulties while I was growing up. I was extremely lonely, I didn't have much fun and most people made fun of me for being the outcast. Eventually the pain got so great that I exploded; I wanted everyone to know how much they hurt me. I felt so used, so... dead.

I felt that I deserved respect for all I did.

The problem wasn't in the physical, but in the spiritual. I was looking for something that was eventually going to turn to dust. I was attached.

I look back and understand why I was so upset, but I know I really had no right to be. To be fully conscious means that there is a sympathy towards those who are asleep.

It should be noted that this entry will contain a bit more blasphemy to Christian ears than most of my other entries.

Let's look at these two characters: Jesus of Nazareth and Eris - Goddess of Discord.

There is plenty of speculation surrounding Jesus; some believe him to be nothing more than a man who became the Christ after accomplishing the Great Work. Others thought of him as the bringer of salvation (or to the Gnostics a bringer of illumination; and we'll touch on this in a bit).

Eris was a vengeful woman and the bringer of Chaos. She loved watching mortals destroy one another.

In the Gospel of Thomas Jesus said to his disciples, "I have cast fire upon the world, and see, I am guarding it until it blazes."
Jesus openly acknowledges that there is going to be war and destruction, in both the macrocosm and microcosm.

Now, to the Gnostic, the Garden of Eden is completely metaphorical. Adam and Eve are the male and female aspect of each human being. The Fruit of Knowledge is referencing a Qliphoth from the Tree of Knowledge, or Tree of Death. This Fruit caused a separation and disagreement between the male and female, thus destroying the pure sexual energy that bound them together.
This was an aspect of Chaos, something that even Jesus seemed to condone.
But why? Why would the Christ allow such a thing to occur?

Well, without Chaos how would we know Peace? If we only knew Peace, how could we learn to appreciate it?
The reoccurring theme with Fruit signifies a divide - both encouraging the clients to partake of it in order to become "better".

In order to rebind this separation, we must understand that the energy to do so is sexual energy. Thus, there is a sexual connection between Peace and Chaos; Jesus and Eris have a sexual connection.
This energy is what originates from your spine, allowing clairvoyance to develop and to open the third eye.
In order to see this rebinding take place, you must understand both Chaos and Peace in yourself - they are part of you. Attempting to destroy Chaos will not result in Light, but a depreciation of the Light. For Light cannot exist without Darkness as cold cannot exist without warmth.

Chaos is the Temple, Light is the Path.

Do you ever feel like you're taking on the problems of everyone else? Do you feel that you're always left out even though you put the most effort into friendships? Do you feel that everything you do ends in failure no matter how hard you try?

Well, there's a reason for this and believe it or not it's more common than most realize. Most of us, especially us guys, tend to take on the problems of others in order to gain their acceptance. You CAN take the negative power from someone and bestow it upon yourself. And if you're enabling people to take advantage of you, that's exactly what's happening.
A lot of us say, "I'm just doing a good deed." Or we try to make ourselves feel as if we're the adult and simply HAVE to care for others.
You're heart is in the right place, but in the end you're poisoning yourself - and it's usually not because we want to truly help others, but to eventually gain their attention. Am I right or am I right?
It's hard to let this kind of mentality go and even harder to realize what it's doing to you.

Let me guess, you've been feeling down in the dumps for no reason? You don't seem to enjoy the things you once did? Everything just seems... boring?
The only time you might feel "empty" of these symptoms is after you *cough*clop*cough (for lack of a better word).
The best way to let go of these troubles is to realize you're giving them the ability to overtake you. You're the one who's allowing them to exist.
Simply say, "you do not have permission to harass me any longer" and walk away to another physical location. Nothing can disturb you unless you allow it.

When anyone in occult practices hears the name, Samael Aun Weor, the first thing that comes to mind is a man who, in a mere 25 years, wrote incredibly profund books, gave thousands of lectures, and influenced the occult world tenfold to what Crowley did.

It is believed Samael received his name by the Divine and was the living embodiment for the Age of Aquarius.

The battle between Light and dark can be seen throughout history as the most well known contention.

However, the idea of "good" and "evil" is misunderstood. Most think of it as morality vs. immorality, and while this may be a simplified version of the whole ordeal, it is not an accurate representation.

The Tree of Life is a map for spiritual evolution and the Tree of Knowledge is its shadow. If we follow the Sephiroth, we will discover happiness, kindness and freedom from limiting thinking.
The Qliphoth will lead us to dissatisfaction, anger, regret and obsession. It is merely a husk, not created and nonexistent, it will lead us no where but to our own ego.

Ultimately, there is no battle; it is a decision one must make of his or her own true Will: Spiritual evolution or devolution.
The magick of friendship (which is very real and extremely powerful) has the ability to banish the lies of Qliphoth, we must only choose it over anger or self-esteem.

Remember: A true, true friend helps a friend in need.

    What is holding you back?

The question shouldn't be what is holding you back, but rather what are you holding yourself back from doing? The rules we create are nothing more than walls we build up in order to keep the mundane happening in our lives.
What do you not want to change? Is it practical or impractical?
Is it fueling your ego or allowing you to feel a temporary state of ecstasy?

Remember that all things of this world will eventually turn to dust, nothing lasts forever. Trying to hold on to anything will result in attachment, a portion of the ego.
It is only through the dissolving of the ego, or our selfishness, that we learn to tear down these walls we build up and create limiting beliefs about everything and everyone around us.

Ask yourself again, what is holding you back? What are you attaching yourself to in order to find pleasure?
How is this attachment creating a blockage in your life?

We all have our demons, seventy-two of them to be exact. They are not external forces, but internal aspects of our own mind.
In order to control these Geotics, we must understand how they effect us and impact our day-to-day activities. It should be noted that unless the user has had previous experience with meditation he or she should not engage in Geotia magick until s/he feels fit and able to do so.

Summon the four Arch Angels: Gabriel, Uriel, Michael, and Raphael.
Turn off the lights, light a candle and incense and stare into a mirror illuminated only by the flame of the candle. What do you see? Over time the image will change- this is a natural occurrence so don't be frightened when it happens.
Observe what you see, try to communicate with it. Remember: the responses are not from otherworldly beings, you are communicating with yourself.

    Ask yourself a question.
What's holding you back from doing what you want to do?
Why are you acting a certain way?
What is preventing you from moving on?

These are all demons in their own way, and if the conjurer is not careful s/he could mentally scar his/herself.

Before performing any rituals to this extent, it is recommended that you mentally prepare yourself for any emotionally draining event which may result in the summoning of these microcosmic entities.
Watch ponies, listen to something inspirational or let go of your anger and stress which has been stored up during the day.

I've been feeling a bit down lately, not really understanding why certain things were going on in my life.

I felt like I didn't have any "me" time between college and work.

I wondered, "why don't I feel satisfied?" The answer was in front of my face the whole time and I didn't even know it. It was the magick of friendship.
You don't have to have friends to experience this special type of magick, but you do need to be a friend.

Instead of focusing on the problems, focus on being a friend - acting without an agenda.

It's hard to live in the now when you're schedule is tied up with so many things that you need to get done. We fear the future even though it hasn't yet come.

Kabbalah teaches us that the Infinite Light does not exist in our fears or regrets; it exists where we stand right now. Planning for the future and learning from the past are wise, but worrying about them is pointless.
What has happened has happened, there's no point to caring about it anymore.
A death in the family is extremely difficult, but after they pass away there's no need to direct the mind to their passing. They are still around you, yet in a state of conscious sleep there is no way you can see them.
That does not mean they are are cut off from us, but that communicating with them is limited to when your energy body disconnects from your physical body during sleep or astral projection.

Our fears are limited to our perception, believing that what we see is all that exists. Today look at troubling events in your life and try to see them from all angles rather than just the negative. More often than not it's just a matter of seeing something from another point of view, and realize that in every change of a moment the situation is no longer the same.

As someone who started as a Christo-witch, I will openly say that (in some aspects) this blog is dedicated to you.

You are able to see the parallels between your faith and magick.

I also am going to dedicate this blog to my wonderful mentor and White Lighter, Monica. You have taught me more in a day than most people have in years, to which I thank you. Though we might have taken very different routes in our practices it does not separate us from one another.

"Do what Thou Wilt shall be the whole of the Law"
This quote is heavily what I'm going to be touching upon - it has heavy occult significance - and will be the forerunner to everything I write in which I explain how to either evocate, banish or if there's a bit of magickal advice I'd like to share with you.

I do have some advice I would like to share in this entry:
I love this community, and you all deserve such knowledge as this. You all deserve to understand how to create your destiny and shape your everyday experiences.
Why? Because I know you all won't abuse it. You have discovered something most others do not have, which is kindness and disconnection from the material.

To those who do not believe in what I'm going to be blogging about, please feel free to criticize. Free Will means the ability to believe whatever you want; and to believe whatever you want is exactly why I'm here today.
