Idk, I guess I had felt bad for him. He had pretty much nothing, and felt he was just going to amount to nothing in the world. So, I wanted to show him that that's not true, you just gotta work really hard. Sometimes I wonder if I was just chasing self-fulfillment though. Doing it so I could say I truly helped someone turn their life around.

Well, it does seem like you gotta go if he isn't doing anything to convince to this point.

Yup, I've already decided I'm not renting another apartment with him again. Once this lease is up I'm probably going to cut ties.
