Can you draw my OC?

Woo! Well, first things first.

 

What are your favorite things in life (at the moment)?

Well, number one right now is still ponies. 

But I'd also have to say that I'm especially proud of the strides I've made in art.  While I haven't really been producing many wallpapers lately (like, at all), the progress I've made in my drawing as well as learning how to use Adobe Illustrator has helped bring back at least a little bit of my self-confidence.

I'm going to go ahead and jump right onto this bandwagon.

Hello!  I may or may not be Vexx3.  I've been a member here since February 2012 and became a member of staff around...  July?  I don't remember.

Feel free to ask me questions and I may or may not answer them.  I may also draw some answers with my OC because I think it'd make for really fun drawing practice (though not yet because finals for school are on the horizon).

I was originally going to make this a pegasus, but found that I have a really hard time with wings.  So, I decided to draw best pony.

I'm still trying to nail down anatomy, so feel free to point out errors.  I'm sure there's many of them.

Interesting project!  Here's a ref of my OC.  Pose and all that doesn't really matter too much to me. 

I really wish I could help out with the art, but I'm afraid I still need a lot more drawing practice before I'm up to par.

I'm currently participating in a wallpaper design tournament on another forum and this wallpaper was made for the second round.  The guidelines were it had to be Daring Do, had to use her color palette, had to use basic shapes, and could not use bokeh.

It ended up being the winner.

I HAVE NEVER HAD RELATIONS WITH VEXX!!!

First piece of digital art.  It's just some sloppy lineart, because my coloring sucks.  Feedback is much appreciated, as well as possibly some good coloring guides, maybe?  I have a lot of trouble staying in the lines, it would seem.

That is quite an excellent drawing there!  Apart from the neck, which has already been mentioned, it looks like you forgot the eyelashes.

Also, looking through your dA, I can tell that you have been making drastic improvement.  Keep up the great work!

I decided to try my hand at some perspective since so far, I've only drawn sideshots.  I think the anatomy is slightly better, especially the legs.  However, the head looks too big, the mouth looks weird, and the tail and cutie mark are pretty sloppy.

Also, best pony.

Anyways, I have been practicing my drawing a lot lately and I finally have one that I'm happy enough with to share here. 

Yes, it needs work.  I still can't seem to draw manes and tails to save my life and the head looks a bit too tall to me.  Feel free to point out any other mistakes you'll probably see.

For the record, this isn't suppose to be any particular pony, despite it's resemblance to Rainbow Dash, which is why there's no cutie mark.

Just look at this adorable egghead.  How could you possibly say no to this?  *You'd have to be certifiably insane to vote for a reckless narcissist over her.

*Obvious joke.  RD is cute, but Twilight is cuter, kbye.

Thanks well the themes were made by another person, but I like them. As for rainmeter I've tried and I don't like it much at all.

Fun Fact:  The image in that start menu is among the first wallpapers I made. 

I weigh in at about 130 pounds and I'm 5'10" tall.  I don't eat particularly healthy, but thanks to a high metabolism, my weigh stays low.
