So here it is.  The first day of Comic-Con.  And BOY Was it crowded or what.
A majority of the Panels I went to today took place in Room 6A.  A room that I will return to tomorrow for My Little Pony
    1) Teen Titans Go: I know.  It's not one of Warner Bros' best cartoons.  But I went there just for the heck of it, and got to see one of the episodes "The Night Begins to Shine," and it looks like a fun nod to the 80s.  Unfortunately, they only showed the first 3 parts of the episode.  The final part is still unknown.  Oh well, I'll see how it concludes in the future.
My question, which involved having Tara invoke Harley Quinn, was if there will be an appearance by the Joker, voiced by Mark Hamill, and they may consider it.
    2) Unikitty: I caught a bit of the animation after lunch.  But it looks like something I may consider checking out.  Only voice actor Eric Bauza showed up because Tara was at a signing for Teen Titans Go.  But Tara will voice Unikitty while Eric will play one of the antagonists.
My question was "Will there be an episode where Unikitty is angry cuz someone tipped over her chocolate milk?"  They gave a subtle Yes.  Which means, I want to see this episode.
    3) Justice League Action: The panel I came for, BIGLY.  They gave us not ONE, but TWO episodes.  The first involved Robotic duplicates of Justice League Members Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Booster Gold stopping Darkseid from analyzing their combat data.  The other invovled Booster Gold giving a Watch Tower tour to a small group that is really Toyman, Granny Goodness and....The Joker in disguise.
My question was, "Will there be a crossover with other Warner Bros properties like Bugs Bunny or Scooby Doo?  It might happen.   Might.

    4) Rocko's Modern Life: Another BIGLY one.  They had all the original voices there: Carlos Alazraqui(Rocko), Tom Kenny(Heffer), Mr. Lawrence(Filbert) and especially Charlie Adler(The Bigheads and the Fatheads).  There's a movie coming out next year called "Static Cling."  It's mainly a take that towards modern day technologies like Smartphones and Taco Trucks.

My question, after pretending to be a customer at a Fast Food Restaurant, was "If there was going to be a spin-off based on the Fatheads."  Probably not.
I later gave a picture to Charlie Adler, and he liked it.  It features My Little Pony's Spike the Dragon.  Both G1 and G4.  I'll show you all later on.

    5) Batman: Mask the Phantasm: Yes folks.  This movie is getting a re-release on Blu-Ray.  I saw this originally on DVD, and it's a pretty neat movie that encompasses what makes Batman great.  I recommend giving it a shot when it comes out on Blu-Ray.  Sadly, I did not get to ask a question, but I gave Kevin Conroy a piece of Batman art that I did.

I did do some purchases between this and the final panel.  They happen to be two Rocket League Car sets(One for me, one for my brother) from UCC Distributor, and from MAttel: Two Justice League Batmobiles(They were in Limited Quantity.  That's why I bought two) and a Kylo Ren's STarfighter.
I also checked out a bit of the Adobe's Character Animator, where they showed off simplifications of rigging a character to a skeleton, and utilizing pre-set cycles(Espeically Walk-cycles) to help get them moving.  And yes, I have the program.
Finally, I did check out the Adventures in Voice Acting panel.  I do this every year in the event I get to try my luck as a Voice Actor.  But alas, I never get picked.  :(.  I did, however, give the guest actor Robbie Daymond a copy of a drawing I did.
Tomorrow's the big one.  My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  They're suppose to show off what's going on with the Movie and the rest of Season 7.  If I get the chance, I'll talk about em.

So preview night.  What it is, it's basically a small taste of what is to come for the weekend.  What to expect.
Before I begin, I have some bad news.  I'm afraid there is no My Little Pony exclusive this year from Hasbro.  A disappointment from the house of Pony
10 years ago, preview night was not as crowded as it was now.  Nowadays, it's a zoo to go to.  People left and right going in line for the top exclusive, or to meet the guest there.  I was able to meet with Katie Cook and Agnes Garboska, artists for the MLP IDW comic series.  And I got them to draw a.variation of my original characters.  I will show you when I get the chance.
My purchases for the night?  Only a shirt for mom and the drawings.

Tomorrow, I have 4 panels in a row to go to.  It will be busy, no doubt about it.

In the next few days, I will be going downtown to attend the San Diego Comic-Con.  I've been doing this since 1999, and yes, I know ticket prices have gone up compared to years past.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it got up to $300 next year.
However, before I talk about Comic-Con, lemme talk to you about my experience at this year's Wondercon.
Unlike Comic-Con, Wondercon is a much smaller venue.  Furthermore, it's located up in Anaheim, right next to Disneyland.  I went up there with my dad on April 1st after my brother got me and him a Saturday pass each.
There were only two panels I checked out.  One is called "Quick Draw."  This is where a number of artists like Scott Shaw, Sergio Aragones, and Floyd Norman go on stage to draw just for our entertainment.  But right at the beginning of the panel, Sergio decided to draw a picture of him fearing Donald Trump.  XP
The other panel was a DC COmics Showcase, showing off upcoming films(Justice League and Wonder Woman) and Animation(Teen Titans: The Judas Contract).  I wanted to ask an April Fool's Question up there, but I decided not to.
One thing that I have noticed is that DC Comics is slowly starting to integrate itself more into Comic-Con and Wondercon.  That's saying alot, considering that Disney often holds its own Convetion called D23.  That's where many Disney, MArvel and Star Wars projects are shown off instead of Comic-Con.  I wouldn't be surprised if Warner Bros bought out Comic-Con in the near future.  Then it would be called the Warner Bros Comic-Con and the Wondercon would be called Warnercon.
BTW, I thought Katie Cook was up in Wondercon, but I was mistaken.  The only thing I bought was a My Little Pony comic.

Anyway, enough talk.  I gotta get ready for Comic-Con 2017.

As you all know, Hasbro is NOT only the main provider of Star Wars toys(Especially the Black Series), but also Marvel and Disney Princess toys as well(And there are still rumors that Disney could buy out Hasbro, making them owners of not just My Little Pony, but also Transformers and GI-Joe). Also, Star Wars is about to celebrate its 40th Anniversary.

But how would you all react if Disney and Hasbro reached a deal where the My Little Pony toy series got a Star Wars-themed Spin-off? Like, for example

    a) The My Little Pony characters dressed up in Star Wars-themed attire(Ex: Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna as Jedi, Rainbow Dash as a Smuggler(With a Wookie companion), King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis and Lord Tirek as Sith, maybe even Gilda as a Bounty Hunter or Trixie as a Dathomir Witch)

The ponies as selected Star Wars characters(Ex: Twilight Sparkle as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rainbow Dash as Han Solo, Queen Chrysalis as Mother Talzin, Garble as Kylo Ren, Princess Celestia as Satele Shan, Derpy Hooves as Jar Jar Binks)

    c) Ponified Star Wars characters(Ex: Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, K2S0, HK-47, Darth Revan)

How would you react if Disney gave Hasbro the green light to create Star Wars-themed My Little Pony figures?
  5. SaburoDaimando
And this is gonna sound like some ad. But I'm gonna make it clear. I'm pretty much done with buying Comic Books. Why?

Plain and simple. The digital alternative to physical comics is more and more interesting to check out. Mainly if it has to do with one of two websites.

    Comixology
    Humble Bundle

Both offer great deals when they come around. And furthermore, both offer DRM-free comics. Which means you can share them with whoever you know, and you can view them on your Tablet, Smartphone or PC. I would recommend checking out both sites in case you need to find some great deals on Comic Books.

And as for me, I'm thinking about selling most of my comic collection or donating it to Salvation Army. Just so I can clear out some space for what I want.

So recently, I decided to give the Playstation Now a try through the 7 day free period. I had a great online provider(Cox), and I had a Logitech F310 controller.

They both worked well and I was able to enjoy playing one game: Katamari Forever. Damn, that game is addictive.

But I dunno if I want to put down the $20 a month for the service, mainly because I'll end up forgetting about it. What PS3 exclusive on the PSNow would you recommend that I try out?
  7. SaburoDaimando
As you all know, next year is Star Wars's 40th Anniversary, and I expect this to be as big as possible. And as you all know, Hasbro is the primary toy maker of Star Wars figures, especially the higher-quality Black Series figures.

But I always wonder: What would happen if Hasbro worked out a deal with the Walt Disney Company(Their partner) and Lucasarts on giving their My Little Pony franchise a Star Wars promotion? And if it does become reality, how would it be done?

There are three ideas I had in mind

    1) Dress up the Mane 6 and other characters as if they were characters of the Star Wars franchise

    2) Dress up characters like the Star Wars characters(Ex: Twilight Sparkle as Luke Skywalker, Rarity as Leia Skywaler, Gilda as HK-47, Derpy Hooves as Jar Jar Binks, Spike as Chewbacca, Zecora as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Pinkie Pie as Ahsoka Tano, Discord as Hondo Ohnaka, Queen Chrysalis as Darth Maul, King Sombra as Darth Vader, Lord Tirek as Emperor Palpatine, Starlight Glimmer as Anakin Skywalker, Maud Pie as Revan, Sapphire Shores as Shaak Ti

    3) Your favorite Star Wars characters...ponified.(Though I wonder what a Ponified HK-47 would look like)

If there were Star Wars-themed My Little Pony toys, would you want them and how would you want them?
  8. SaburoDaimando
It was a short day today. All I did was three panels.

One was a discussion on the San Diego Comic Art Gallery. Strangely when I managed to ask my question, one of the panelists recognized me from when I use to play the Pokemon TCG at the old Wizards of the Coast store in Mission Valley. Surprising, isn't it?

There was also a panel involving Cartoons in space, from Space Ghost to Looney Tunes to even Roger Ramjet.

The final panel involved a discussion over Batman: The Animated Series, showcasing a pilot short to present to the executives at Warner Bros. It was more fluid compared to the actual final product.

Well with this, my time at the Comic Fest is over this year. I was a bit overwhelmed, especially with the exhibit hall and the Art Gallery. But hey, it looks like the San Diego Comic Fest has evolved since it first came to be in 2012.

My only purchase from that place was the Funko Maud Pie. But hey. At least it wasn't nothing at all.

Anyway, other than a single day at the Anaheim Wondercon(Maybe), I'm done with conventions for the moment.
  9. SaburoDaimando
Despite being sick, I was able to catch the 2nd day of the San Diego Comic Fest.

The first part of my day was at a panel talking about the late Jack Kirby AKA The King of Comics. He was well known for his work at both Marvel and DC. He also sounded like a cool boss to work for(Later on, I may post a small tribute to Jack Kirby)

There was also the talk about the future of Conventions, including the fabled "San Diego Comic-Con." Comic-Con is more of a mission-based convention while its New York counterpart is more profit-based. They talked about the trends going on with these conventions, and some situations with the next few years of Comic-Con.

My final panel was talking about the murals in San Bernardino County, basically next to the site of the Original McDonalds. They also talked abit about "The Founder" movie and I brought up the whole Powdered Milkshake scene(As fascinating as it was, it was also scary that you can have a Milkshake without Ice Cream or Milk)

It wasn't much of a day. But hey, better than being in bed all day. XP
  10. SaburoDaimando
So here's how the first day went.

First off, I took my brother with me and he went with me to at least three panels.

The first panel was all about "Take That, Adolf." It was all about the American Comic Book's war on the Nazis. They showcased a variety of covers, especially a few from Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. Interestingly, DC Comics kept mum about putting in actual Nazis in their drawings all while other comic book publishers went nuts.

The second panel was an episode of the X-Men: The Animated Series that focused on Wolverine's past with Sabertooth, Maverick and Silver Fox.

A third panel was about digital drawings, especially using Photoshop. While it is basic stuff that I know, the host did show me a technique that used the Multiply Layer technique and Masking.

Between panels, I went to check out the Exhibit Hall. Oh boy, it got bigger(I'd say there's more at this year's Comic Fest than at Pacific Ponycon). I felt a bit overwhelmed. I mean, what's next, Exclusives?

THere were two panels I went to afterwards. The first was a panel on former Disney and Hanna-Barbera animator Floyd Norman. He talked about his experience with working with Walt Disney, and his short time at Hanna-Barbera. He also had an experience with working on Disney Comic Books(Loved doing Goofy stories, but not Mickey stories)

The other panel was a mock trial involving Mutant registration and Sentinels. The key points where

    a) Mutant Registration
    Use of Sentinels
    c) Concentration camps for rogue Mutants
    d) Use of lethal force on Mutants

The panel ended with the Mutant Registration remaining, but the use of Sentinels being put on hold.

That's it for day one. Day two is tomorrow, but I am coming down with something.
  11. SaburoDaimando
Tomorrow, I will go to my second Convention of the year: The San Diego Comic Fest. It's a smaller convention compared to Comic-Con and Wondercon, more like the early days of Comic-Con. A few of the guests there originated from Comic-Con(For example: Mark Evanier has previously been a guest at Comic-Con since Day 1 and is recently coming down to celebrate the late Jack Kirby).

If you live in the San Diego area, here's the link. It will go from tomorrow to Monday.

I left much later than usual due to relatives showing up for breakfast. Thankfully, my first panel didn't start till at least 11:30AM. It was the IDW Comic Artists panel. They talk about their experience on My Little Pony the Comic series, and any advice they gave is all about how to be a better artist. Interestingly, they all have used a Wacom Cintiq(Which I own)

Also, during that panel, a mother and her son talked to the panelists. Her son, who has autism, had problems connecting with his mother till My Little Pony came out. I was able to relate to them(since I also have Autism, though it is mild) and I took a picture of the duo.

Then came the Voice Actor Panel(Which switched places with the Charity Auction because Nicole had to take off on her plane afterwards). Tabitha couldn't make it because she came down with something bad. But still, it was fun to see the voice cast one last time before sending them on their way.

I wandered around for a bit before checking out the Charity Auction just for laughs. Kelly did show up to help with stuff. But some of the auctions did get tense. Rarely do auctions go above $100. I didn't make any bids. I just watched for the heck of it.

Finally, after the closing ceremonies(And a final farewell to Kelly "Starlight" Sheridan), the Feedback panel. I asked if they would consider showing episodes of MLP in a future convention. It's possible, but they have to acquire the legal rights from Hasbro to do so. Following the question, I bid farewell to the Con.

And now that that's done, my purchases:
    One Pacific Ponycon T-Shirt
    A set of MLP Cards
and 3 Buttons(Tirek, Ganondorf and Cloud Strife)

With that, my Pacific Ponycon talkback is over. Later on, I'll showcase the 4 drawings I gave to Tabitha, Nicole and Kelly.(One for each, and one for all three)
  13. SaburoDaimando
Day two started earlier than usual. After I ate Pancakes at the Claim Jumper, I went over to Mummified's Your OC Sucks panel, where he talks about many elements on how to make a good Original Character for My Little Pony. I did a sketch of a character that was apart of my OC idea. When I showed him, he actually did liked it, but he gave me a suggestion when it came to looks(Which I took to heart and applied it. Now I think it looks perfect)

Next came the Tabitha St. Germain panel, where it was just about having fun and all. She still doesn't get a rat because I'm Batman. XP

I took a break from the action to do some sketches just for fun from a Ponified version of the late Brother IZ (Israel Kamakawiwo'ole) to Tirek spoiling the Transformers 1986 Film(Yes, he can be a spoiler dick. XP). Nicole Oliver was there reading a story to the children there(Actually two: One was a book version of the "Cutie Mark Chronicles" from the first season of MLP, the second was the Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig)

Then there was the Kelly Sheridan panel, where she talked about her time on MLP(And the fact that she tried many times to get into the series and luck finally got to her in the form of Starlight Glimmer). Fun fact: She once lost her voice to Whooping Cough, and she's worked with LA Talent like Andrea Romano and Charlie Adler

I took a break to play some Super Smash Bros just for fun. It was a decent fight, and I won at least One Round with Cloud Strife. Man, this guy is too OP. I later decided to go through Hyrule Warriors just so I can unlock Ganondorf Dragmire.

I concluded the day with a trip to the "Villains" panel hosted by Silver Quill, who talks about what makes villains like Queen Chrysalis and Lord Tirek great(Chrysalis was the Dark Queen, Sombra was the Dictator, Tirek was the Tyrant). He even went and used characters from other franchises like Starscream from Transformers and Darth Vader from Star Wars as examples of Good villains.

Tomorrow is my last day, but I'll be leaving much later due to relatives coming to visit for breakfast.
  14. SaburoDaimando
So Day One of Pacific Ponycon just came and went. Here's how it went for me.

First panel I went to was the "Bronies React" panel. It's where Bronies take alook at videos on Youtube, mostly My Little Pony related, and they react to it(Like Kids React to or Teens React to). Surprisingly, they know about Ghost of True Capitalist Radio and the little remix that Alex S did(Melting Pot of Alcohol)

I had lunch at the Claim Jumper later on, and I had a bowl of Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup. Tasted alot like those Tex Mex Enchiladas I ate back on Maui at Las Pinatas.

And then there are my meetings with The voice Actresses

Tabitha St Germain(The one who me and I enjoy trolling. I last saw her at last year's Comic-Con)

Nicole Oliver(Personally, I look rather scruffy next to her)

Kelly Sheridan(Apparently, she recognized one of the artworks I did: Starlight vs Tirek)

Later on, I'll show you the art I did for the guests. Speaking of, they did a script reading with some of the other fan guests like Saberspark, ACRacebest and Bloo. Which apparently was weird as it involved garbled spells, pigs, a giant twister, and a mirror.

I ended the day with two back to back panels. One involving Getting involved with Voice Acting(They brought in some recommendations for Voice Actor Research. I mentioned Rob Paulsen's Talkin Toons and they were familiar with it) and Twilight's Redeemed villains(A Cosplay-based panel featuring fan actors playing Twilight sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and Moondancer).

That's it for Day One(Though it seems Nicole has a habit of showing up when I least expect it . XP) Tomorrow is Day Two. I'm gonna leave early to have breakfast at the Claim Jumper before heading to my panels.
  15. SaburoDaimando
As I'm considering about re-watching Space Jam tomorrow, I'm thinking of an ideal Space Jam RPG which I dub "Space Jam Gaiden." This is an idea that Warner Bros should consider with Obsidian Entertainment as the developers.

The story involves the city of Warneropolis being taken over the the All-Star Mon-Stars, who now implement a dystopian orwell-like status for the entire city, and even forcing citizens to take up Basketball regardless if they like it or not. They even imprisoned well-known Basketball players, including the legendary Michael Jordan.

But thanks to the work of Batman(Yes, that Batman. I always wanted DC Comic characters with Looney Tunes), Michael Jordan escapes the maximum security prison and is now apart of a resistance movement dedicated to bringing down the All-Star Mon-Stars and their co-horts through a Final Fantasy VI/Chrono Trigger-like RPG adventure.

    Your thoughts on this idea?
  16. SaburoDaimando
Does anyone here remember the Brothers Grimm tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? What about the Disney version?

Anyway, I had an idea of how a cast would play out if there was a My Little Pony take on Snow White

    Fluttershy(Obviously)- Snow White
    Thunderlane- The Prince
    Spoiled Milk/Rich- The Wicked Queen

    The Seven Dwarfs:
    Sunset Shimmer
    Starlight Glimmer
    Trixie
    Discord
    Big Macintosh
    Pinkie Pie
    Derpy Hooves
  17. SaburoDaimando
This was just something I brainstormed up throughout the last few days.

Sometime after the events of "To Where and Back Again," Celestia was arguing with the parliament not just over the new alliance with the reformed Changelings(Lead by King Thorax), but also Starlight Glimmer. The members of the Parliament consider the changelings too dangerous to be considered allies, and they consider Starlight Glimmer to be too much of a risk. They demand that Celestia hand over Starlight Glimmer for imprisonment into Tatarus, or she and Luna will lose their status as rulers of Equestria.

This leaves Celestia and Luna in a pickle: If they don't arrest Starlight and ruin Twilight Sparkle's chance of a successful apprentice, they will be Princesses of Equestria no more.

But things go from bad to worse when Chrysalis kidnaps Starlight Glimmer by posing as Twilight Sparkle. She then forces Starlight to resurrect King Sombra and break Lord Tirek from Tatarus. Learning of this, Celestia, the Mane 6 and Discord go to confront the terrible trio to save Starlight Glimmer. Celestia was able to save Starlight with the help of her companies.

Chrysalis, still hungry for revenge, decided to fire a dart of poison at Starlight. Celestia intended on taking the shot, only for Twilight to take the shot and the poison. This allows the Terrible Trio of Chrysalis, Sombra and Tirek to escape while Twilight struggles with the poison. Cadence arrives in time to see Twilight in a horrible condition, with a means to cure it: To be sealed away in Crystal so that the poison can be drained from her body.

Unfortunately, Celestia and Luna are called back to the Parliament after they learned that Starlight helped Chrysalis break Tirek out and resurrect Sombra. Despite Celestia and Luna knowing of what really happened, the Parliament demands Starlight's immediate arrest and imprisonment, no questions asked. Furious, Celestia and Luna surrender their crowns in protest and walk off. This leaves the Parliament enraged as they call out both former princesses of Treason, to no such luck.

As a result, Twilight Sparkle is now sealed in a purity crystal within the basement of her castle to save her of the poison, Celestia and Luna now make their home in Twilight's Castle as exiles with Celestia taking up the task of mentoring Starlight Glimmer through these hard times. Furthermore, Starlight Glimmer, Celestia and Luna now have a price on their head. Starlight for aiding Chrysalis unexpectely, and Celestia and Luna for treason.

The next episode after the two-parter deals with Starlight trying to adjust to life without Twilight while Celestia helps her new student out all while secretly transferring the School for Gifted Unicorns to Twilight's Castle. Word has it that the Crystal Empire has severed its ties with Canterlot, leaving Cadence as the only Princess left in Equestria. It ends with the Royal Guard, who were suppose to arrest Starlight, Celestia and Luna, laying their weapons down to side with the princesses-in-exile. The Wonderbolts also join the Royal Guard as well, much to Rainbow Dash's delight. This does not bode well with the Parliament, who now choose their new leader of Equestria to bring down Starlight, Celestia and Luna: Prince Blueblood.
  18. SaburoDaimando
The first Season finale. Long before Season Finales were two-parters and had villains for the Mane 6 to take on.

It was originally hyped up for the first Season: Wanting to explore what may be the best night ever for our heroines. Hoping for their dreams to come true

Applejack: Business for Sweet Apple Acres
Rainbow Dash: Hanging with the Wonderbolts
    Pinkie Pie: Partying out
    Fluttershy: Befriend the animals
Rarity: Meeting the love of her dreams
Twilight sparkle: Hanging out with the princess
Spike: Wanting to have fun with all his friends.

But in the end, it seems things went bad for the Mane 6. The animals didn't take kindly to Fluttershy. The Wonderbolts were too distracted for Rainbow Dash to notice. Applejack had problems getting people to buy her food. Pinkie Pie isn't enjoying the party. Rarity's stallion of her dreams was a total bust. And even Twilight and Celestia were disappoined in being unable to speak with each other.

Overall, it was a rather mild episode compared to the later finales that would come. But still enjoyable.

On a side note: Star Wars The CLone Wars episode: Ambush. It was the first episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and yet it was the episode that made me fall in love with the series as a whole.

On the one hand, despite all odds against him, Yoda remained calm and was able to help guide a small band of Clone Troopers through the Battle Droid Gauntlet. It also reminds me why Yoda is an awesome Star Wars Character. Always upbeat, always enjoying life, and knowing how to prevail.

I also liked the incompetence of the Battle Droids. While the Clone Wars movie, had some funny moments, this is what really nailed me to be a fan of these clankers. They remind me of Waspinator from the Beast Wars. It seems nothing good can come of these walking tin cans.

Later on Wednesday, I'll be watching a Canterlot Wedding before watching another Star WarS: The Clone Wars episode.

Before this month is over, Season 6 will have come to an end for My Little Pony. It's been a long one and we're about to go out in style.

Before I do so, I'm gonna rewatch all 5 Season Finales:

This week, I'll be rewatching both "The Best Night Ever" and "A Canterlot Wedding."

Next week, it will be Magical Mystery Cure and Twilight's Kingdom

And the following week, The Cutie Remark, plus I'm gonna rewatch Star Wars: The Force Awakens just for fun.

Also, each rewatch of a season finale episode will be followed by a selected episode of STar Wars: The Clone Wars. Why? Because I still enjoyed that series.

Anyway, I'm off to go rewatch "The Best Night Ever" on Netflix followed by the Star Wars:The CLone Wars episode "Ambush."

During my playthrough of Star Wars: The Old Republic's Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion, I thought to myself "I wonder how My Little Pony would play out if this kind of RPG was implemented into the series?"

This is how my idea would play out. The main story involves a colt emperor from a far away land invading Equestria with an army that dwarfs the Equestrian army. Even with allies like the Yaks, the Griffins and the Dragons, the Equestrian army is no match for the Imperial army. Even the likes of the three Alicorn Princesses, the Spirit of Chaos Discord, and the Mane 6's Rainbow Power is nothing compared to the magic of the Colt Emperor.

In her defeat, Twilight was stripped of her status as Princess by the Colt Emperor and banished from Equestria to the Imperial lands. Even more so, she lost her cutie mark, her wings, her strength, and even her unicorn horn, reducing her to an ordinary pony(Even less than an Earth Pony).

There, Twilight embarks on a quest across this beautiful, but dangerous, land to locate those who would oppose the Emperor's will and form a Rebel Alliance. Upon completing the introductory areas, Twilight will have a world map to explore alongside 5 new companions in hopes of bringing down the Emperor and saving her homeland of Equestria.

But that doesn't mean her old friends can't be involved. In fact, after locating her faithful assistant Spike, Twilight would explore the land to relocate all of her friends: Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy. In fact, all 5 of them are key to restoring her unicorn horn. With the help of Starlight Glimmer and Discord, Twilight can relocate all 3 missing Alicorns(Also stripped of their Princess Status, as well as being de-winged and de-horned) and only by restoring their alicorn magic can Twilight get her Alicorn magic back.

In addition to the Mane 5, Starlight, Discord and the Alicorns, Twilight can recruit many familiar faces from Equestria(Like Maud Pie, Derpy Hooves, Spitfire, Ms. Pommel, Dragon Lord Ember, Gilda the Griffin, Trixie, Thorax, Sunburst, Moondancer, Sunset Shimmer, Tree Hugger, Big Macintosh, Shining Armor, Daring Do, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders) to many newcomers that Twilight will befriend.

Of course, it's possible to beat the entire game with only the 5 newcomers that will aid Twilight by just choosing to confront the Emperor. However, it will be hard without grinding your level to 99. Speaking of which, everyone's level is tied just to one huge level. Meaning you don't have to grind each character that you unlock. In fact, the whole purpose of the game is to recruit as many companions as possible and get them out into the battlefield. You can also strengthen the rebel base by locating supplies. And if one were to collect all of the companions and beat the Emperor, a new area awaits with a unique final boss.

As for the gameplay, while many enjoy the more action-based style of Real Time RPGs like many MMOs, Star Wars: KOTOR, Final Fantasy XII, and Dragon Age, I would make it more like the oldskool Final Fantasies or Chrono Trigger. As Twilight gains more and more companions, they join in on the combat, with the limit being only the number of companions the player unlocks. Heck, you can even have a certain pony lead as opposed to Twilight.

These are my ideas for a My Little Pony RPG. If I could choose a developer for this project, it would be Obsidian Entertainment due to Bioware and Bethesda's dedication to other projects.
