Well, after Rise of Lyric has come and gone, my hope for Sonic Boom as a whole is at an all time low. However, there's still the matter of the 3DS game, which came out at the same time as it's console counterpart; Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal. This review is obviously shorter than Rise of Lyric, meaning I have less to talk about, but let's just see how Shattered Crystal fairs in comparison to Rise of Lyric.
If you guys enjoyed this review, please go the extra mile and leave a like on it. It helps in more ways than you think.
It's getting to the end of the year, which means I'll have about four reviews left to put out, and they are all game reviews. Today's review is one I didn't even see coming myself; Platinum Games' Bayonetta for the Wii U, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
Please let me know what you think, and leave a like on the video if you enjoyed it! It really helps out.

I'm probably the only one who doesn't have a Halloween-themed YouTube video this year Anyways, you guys voted for it, so now, I shall give it to you. Today, I am going to review Rainbow Falls, an episode considered by many to be one of the worst in the series. But, is it truly worth that infamous honor? Well...
If you guys enjoyed the video, please leave a like. It really helps me out
Some of you guys may remember a PMV I made a couple months ago. The PMV was on Rainbow Dash with Mandopony's "Loyalty." I decided, since I had fun making the first PMV, that I'd make another one. This time, I have created a PMV on Rarity with "Generosity" another Mandopony song. This PMV took me about a week and a half of nonstop work to make, but I think it turned out better than Loyalty did.
Like last time, I want you guys to let me know what you think of the PMV, and if I should make a 3rd one sometime in the future.
I hope you guys enjoy what I conjured up!
This is a special kind of bad. The kind of bad that happens when you don't have someone check your work before you turn it in. The kind of bad that happens when you don't take a class in writing, animation, or, hell, directing before starting production.
This is Dusk's Dawn, everypony. Let's go take on the adventure.
(Hopefully this one works this time!)
A few days ago, I said I'd make a video where I express my opinions on E3 2014. Well, we're changing that up a tad. This is gonna be a podcast, with my friend, Sam (AKA: Ponyville Critic)
Enjoy 30 minutes of us rambling on about E3!
If you're interested in the stuff I make for the internet, here's a little update on my summer schedule!

BOY, do I have a long Summer ahead of me.
So, after plenty of Skype chats with Critic and a boatload of effort and line retakes, we finally got our first cross review out there; Equestria Girls. Granted, we might be a bit late to the punch with this movie, considering it's already been looked at by so many people. But, today is Critic's first bronyversary, and I wanted to make it special for him. So, I decided to review the movie with him!
This review will be split up into three parts, with each one being a maximum of 15 minutes a piece. The script for part 2 is in need of dire editing, so we may need to delay part 2 for about a day (But, most likely, that won't happen.)
So, without further ado, here're me and Critic's views of the mixbag spin-off known as Equestria Girls!
Technically, I posted this last night, but due to some video screwups, I had to take it back and fix them. So, now, I'm releasing it for reals
If you have any comments, express them. Did I do something wrong? If so, please tell me so I can improve upon it!
Because everybody else is doing it.
But, I'm going to do it in questions
Ten questions... LET'S GO!
1. Q. Sonic or MLP?
A. Sonic (Don't hurt me )
2. Q. You don't hate any of the mane six? Well, who's your least favorite
A. Rarity. I like her character. It just doesn't click with me as much as others
3. Q. Why do you like gaming more than MLP?
A. I've been gaming since I was five or six. It's pretty much my job to like gaming more than anything XP
4. Q. Okay, smartass, why do you like Sonic more than MLP?
A. Because he's Way Past 20% Cooler
5. Q. Why are you such a smartalec all the time?
A. Because someone has to be one.
6. Q. Do you have a personal vendetta against any MLP characters that aren't the mane six?
A. I have a small one towards Trenderhoof, and I have one for Flash Sentry just for kicks.
7. Q. Sony or Microsoft?
A. I'm personally biased towards both, but if I had to choose between the two... probably Sony.
8. Q. Favorite Background Pony?
A. Either Doctor Whooves or Lyra Heartstrings (Hooray for By-The-Numbers choosing!)
9. Q. What do you think of Pinkie Pie this season
A. I THINK Hasbro needs to figure out what to do with their character. One minute, she's so alive as a character, the next, it's like we're back at season three.
10. Q. How come this whole entry was answering questions we didn't care about?
A. I may be By-The-Numbers, but I'm NOT generic!
Well, the Holidays are approaching fast, and I thought it couldn't be a better time to start a blog like this. Judging by the title, this is probably exactly what you think it is, a video game review blog. Let me start off by saying that I'm not one of those people who are biased towards a certain franchise. Whether it's good or bad, I always give the game the time and playthrough it deserves before giving final verdicts (Though, there are some games I can tell are bad by just looking at them. *Cough* Ride to Hell *Cough*)
In an effort to prevent myself from running out of games to talk about, I'll just go through one video game- related thing a week, whether it be a single game, a series, or a system. I love gaming with a burning passion, and I've been gaming since I was small, but I do have other things going on in my life. There may be times where I'll miss a week, so to make up for it, I'll post a make-up review sometime in the following week.
One franchise I'll be making lots of entries on are Sonic the Hedgehog games. I am a die-hard Sonic fanboy, so if you're biased towards the Blue Blur in any way, turn back now. This is likely not the review blog for you.
That's pretty much the only warning I have. I'll start posting reviews every weekend starting next week. Hope you enjoy my writings
Before going into this, I will state right off the bat that I know that some people won't agree with me. I'm just going by what I think. Platformers are my favorite video game genre, and I just feel they should be focused on a lot more during this next generation of consoles.
Now, I'm gonna be really frank; I don't the like the truckload of FPS's and shooting games of the such that we get nowadays. I understand that they're the big money-makers these days, but I honestly think that there is an extreme lack of creativity and real innovation in gaming companies these days.
Though, there is one genre that never fails in creativity; Platforming. It's a gaming genre that's existed since the beginning. It's likely not gonna go away. There are classic games that lots of people absolutely love like Mario Bros. 3 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Those games are platformers. Games like that can take a level and just go all-out with their imaginations on it.
I think that there should be more games like this during this new generation of gaming. With the newer technology and tools we're working with nowadays, companies can make more solid modern platformers like Rayman Legends or Sonic Generations and such. I still believe that game companies still can be inventive. I think Platformer games are where they can truly express it.
(Don't think that I'm biased towards other genres, though. I LOVE branching out in the gaming community.)
Hey, guys. Sorry for the infrequent blogging. I've just kind of been busy with life, and other things going on around the forums. Plus, I think I kind of come down with something. So, I'm gonna try to keep today's entry short and sweet by explaining my feelings on the Rayman games being made today. I just need to get some sleep.
So, I'll go back a few years to Rayman Origins. For those who haven't played it, Rayman Origins is a 2-D side-scrolling platformer adventure released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and I think the Wii and 3DS, though I'm not sure.
Anyways, I bought this game a couple years ago during the Christmas season. You know those gifts that you put on your Christmas list so that it just fills up space on it? Yeah, I did that for Origins a few years back. But, once I finally played it, I realized what a HUGE mistake I made by putting it on the list for that reason. I think that most of the aspects of Rayman Origins are pretty tight. The backgrounds and stages are extremely beautiful and vivid, the level design is difficult at times, but fair, the controls are by no means slippery or stiff. In fact, I think that they're just right for a platformer. I honestly think it's one of the best modern day platformers yet.
Now, Rayman Legends already looks like an awesome sequel. From playing the demo, the game looks even more gorgeous and it controls about as good as the last title. Though, I won't be able to play it until Christmas, since I'm getting the Wii U (I've been told that that version is the best one out of all of them.)
I'm gonna be completely honest; the first time I played Grand Theft Auto, I absolutely LOATHED it. It's not that I hated playing it. I hated it because it wouldn't LOAD. I'm serious, I was on that "Searching for a session" screen for nearly half an hour. So, after that, I just gave up and decided to finish the main game before I try again.
Now that I've done that, I went back to try Online last night. And, I gotta say, I've REALLY been missing out. This multiplayer is probably one of my favorites in a long while (Although, that guy in the white van can go screw himself for trying to run me over.) The game must've fixed itself over time. I mean, I can;t be the only one who experienced the same issues the first time playing it.
GTA Online is an MMO, which means it's a massive multiplayer online game. In this game, you can create your own character and roam through the city of Los Santos. You can race, go on heists, the options just seem endless. You can also group up with other players and do the options I just mentioned together. You can always go on these activities alone with CPU players, but that doesn't feel as fun. I'd rather go and do these things with actual people (even though I'm not in the same room with them)
That's really all I can say right now. I just started playing last night, so I've barely scratched the surface. If any of you want to meet up at some point, my gamer tag is Diamondsword83. Come play, we'll go on a heist, we'll have a race, and we'll go do some crazy stuff.
