  1. @, Ceres merely raised an eyebrow at the stallion, his insufficient explanations reaching dead ears. "Oh I get it alright, you'd rather live life directed minute by minute by somepony else. You blindly follow orders and do what you are told without question, and you don't mind who you step on to do it. I get it entirely." Ceres took a deep breath, calming herself. She had slowly raised her voice, and was on the verge of losing her temper again. That would be bad, she didn't need Wish seeing her like that. No, instead she stared at Pelate and spoke in a dead tone voice. "If you truly were sorry you would have at least said something to me in the lodge as you ran off. But instead you took the cowards way out and ran away, which tells me you never intended to acknowledge my presence in the first place. So yes, I understand completely. Now, if you have no other business here, then leave." @, Ceres turned to Wish, changing character on an instant. She looked Wish over carefully, ensuring that there was only dust matting WIsh's coat. Ceres smiled as she brushed a few twigs out of Wish's mane, speaking to her in a warm and sweet tone. "Why don't we get you cleaned up? The waterfall isn't far from here, let's head over there and take care of you." Ceres turned, motioning Wish to follow her as she started on the path to the waterfall.
  2. @,@, 'Good. No outward reaction is a good reaction. Soon I'll know what's going on in your head Wish, then we can really play...' Ceres inwardly had a moment of glee as she followed Wish. Then the unthinkable happened. It was that terrible stallion! He ran into Wish! Stepping forward, Ceres stoop just a bit ahead of Wish. Not exactly between the two, but closer to the stallion than Wish was. If he wanted to make a foolish move again, he'd have another thing coming! "What do you want?" Ceres' tone was cold and calculated, her eyes gazed at the stallion as if they pierced through his very soul. Her shoulders were rolled up and her head and back were straight, as she looked down at the fallen pegasus.
  3. @, "Pelate huh... I'll remember that name..." Ceres brooded in her hatred for the grey pegasus for a moment, then allowed herself to calm down. 'I'm not with Pelate right now. I'm with Wish... who happens to have a very nice body....' Ceres couldn't help herself, she was indeed following Wish like she said she would. But her eyes kept tracing Wish's form, watching her every movement as she led the way. Licking her lips, Ceres decided to snap herself out of her trance. It wouldn't be good to degrade into that just yet, there was more preparation to be had! Ceres trotted a little bit faster, catching up to Wish's side. They had moved through the entirety of the campgrounds at this point, at least the entirety of the buildings inside the camp. There was a recreation center, the cabins, two washrooms, several toilets, a messhall, a medical building, a classroom, and the lodge that they first entered. Ceres turned to Wish, gazing into her eyes with her own. "So not much to the campsite except the buildings... why don't we head down to the waterfall? It should be a nice change of pace!" Ceres winked, grinning playfully at Wish. She was goading her, but it was within the acceptable range of actions she would take given the circumstances. Wish seemed to be accepting of Ceres' advances so far, so this could be seen as either friendly banter or light flirting depending on the mare involved. How she took the gesture would also give Ceres a deeper insight into Wish.
  4. That's just about where I would have gone with it anyways.
  5. Yes, when we were in the lodge my character approached yours and Parso's and sat directly across from your character. Then the stallion said to go to the cabins and whatnot and you just up and left without recognizing my characters presence. Sorry, but this is what you get for not paying attention XD It's no bad blood on you personally, just have to keep the character true XD Redemption isn't impossible, but I think it's actually kinda fun to have a "nemesis" on camp don't you think?
  6. @, "Yes, I've met an interesting stallion named Monkshood. And a white pegasus from Sydneigh, although we were interrupted before I could get his name." Ceres' face soured, "And a very rude grey pegasus stallion who didn't care to acknowledge my presence." Ceres sighed, getting up. "But I suppose not all stallions can be worth my time can they? Have you met any other ponies so far? And why don't you lead? I'll follow." (Cinderscribe: Assume that Ceres is following you where you go unless otherwise specified for this period of time.)
  7. Well, I just gave Fire Sky an excuse to leave. I had her leave on "medical issues". You'll have to ask the OP for swap permission though.
  8. @, I just had to say this, since this is OOC I put it here: LMAO! Love how your character is reacting to Ceres! Oh fun times will ensue, this should be entertaining XD
  9. @, A knock sounded at the door, followed by a white mare entering. "Oh good, you're both here. I just wanted to let you know that your cabin mate, Fire Sky, is ill and had to leave camp early. She's in good hooves and will be well taken care of. She just had to go home and get some rest." The mare then left, closing the door behind her. Ceres smiled, "Well I guess it's just the two of us then Wish. How about we go ahead and explore camp? We can even stop by the waterfall."

    movies/tv God's Not Dead

The big problem I have with this is that teachers are NOT allowed to do things like this. You are allowed to disagree with the teacher. In fact, it doesn't matter which side you root for, as long as you make a convincing argument in your essay/presentation/etc. then that's what's being graded. I will chalk the above up to "Hollywood" and leave it at that, for the sake of simplicity. My main concern with this movie is this: This movie can only be effective if the protagonist gives a thorough and extremely convincing argument for the existence of the christian ideal of God. If this is not done, then the whole point of the movie is mute and the audience is simply fed a bunch of bull (I'll stop there, but you get the point). Now, I'm not a Christian, but I came from that background. I've studied the bible, and I honestly don't have a problem with Christianity as it is in the bible. However, I have a problem with ignorant beliefs held by "Christians" that contradict what the bible says. I'm very afraid that many of these things will be played out in this movie, thereby increasing the ignorance of the general populace as to what Christianity truly is.
  11. Sorry to see you go. Should we burn your character alive then? It would make for a very interesting development (in case you didn't know... I was kidding...)
  12. @, Ceres grinned, edging a little closer as she took a seat on the floor next to Wish's bed. 'Interesting, she's not bothered by this distance. Good.' Ceres had noticed the hesitation and quick change in Wish's speech. Deciding it would be best to leave it alone for now, Ceres instead focused on getting to know more about Wish that she was comfortable telling her. There was no need to rush, Ceres had plenty of time to break down Wish's barriers if she so chose. "Trottingham huh? I've heard good things about that place." Ceres kept her gaze on Wish's face, careful to monitor how forward she was being. One mis-step and this could be a very awkward camping trip if Ceres didn't play her cards right. "I'm a researcher at Canterlot's Agricultural Research Facility. Which means that I breed plants to be better in some way than they were before. Your parents probably have bought the seeds we produce, we make things like the bug resistant corn that was released a few years ago. I've always lived in Canterlot, and to be honest, this is my first time out of the city."
  13. @, "Sure, I'd love to. We should probably wait and see who else is in the cabin with us though." Ceres motioned to the empty bed in between them. "In the meantime why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? What do you do for a living? Where are you from?" Ceres smiled as she walked over to Wish, measuring her pacing so that she approached in a non-threatening way. She stopped when she was just inside of Wish's 'bubble'. This was a perfect tactic that Ceres used on new ponies when she got the chance, she wanted to see how Wish would react to somepony getting just close enough to be considered in their personal space, but not close enough to be considered an intimate advance. 'Here's where the fun begins. Will you back away or stay where you are I wonder?'
  14. @, Ceres grinned, a spark in her golden yellow eyes. Wish appeared to be the happy, bubbly type. At least, from what Ceres could tell so far. There were a lot of variables at the moment, but nothing seemed to suggest a hidden agenda. "Well, I was hoping to go and visit the waterfall tonight. You game? It could be fun. After all, we're here so we might as well make the most of it!"
  15. @, A light grey earth pony with blue hair walked in, greeting Ceres. Ceres looked up at her and smiled warmly. 'Pretty mare...' Normally Ceres didn't care for too many ponies, but she was going to be bunking with this mare. The added benefit that the mare was pretty attractive never hurt, Ceres went both ways and kept her options open. "Hi! I'm Ceres, I look forward to it!" Ceres then looked over Wish thoroughly, lingering on her cutie mark before returning to her amethyst eyes. "So what brings you to camp? Anything you plan on doing yet? I hear they have a waterfall, that could be fun..."
  16. Try again. Also, be sure to use spell-check. It is your friend. (and grammar rules.. they are also your friend)
  17. @,@, @@RussianRoulette, Ceres emerged in a jungle, next to three other ponies. The image of Veertus appeared, and after his dialog, Ceres sighed in frustration. "What an utterly pointless exercise." Ceres turned to the three ponies, "Alright, we should probably go and find the 'others'. Does anypony know where we are?"
  18. @, @@Nomadic, @@ParsoOfEquestria, Ceres smiled at the white pegasus, "I'm from Canterlot." The stallion announcer interrupted, and the grey pegasus simply got up and left. Ceres crossed her fore-hooves and let out a frustrated growl, "I guess someponies are rude and insensitive! Don't think I'll forget this..." Ceres gave the grey stallion a death-glare as he exited the hall. Turning her attention back to Monkshood and the white stallion, she smiled apologetically. "Well gentlecolts, I will see you around I suppose. I should probably go find who I'll be rooming with and be sure to get the best bunk!" Ceres got up and stepped close to Monkshood, whispering in his ear. "I'll see you soon enough, maybe we can get together when dinner comes around." Letting her words stand on their own, Ceres walked out of the lodge. She grabbed her luggage and trotted off to her own cabin. She made her way through the encampment, noticing several buildings of various purpose, and eventually got to the cabin area. "Cabin number four... here you are!" Ceres stopped for a moment outside of the cabin, looking back. 'Huh, only four cabins. What happened to cabin number three? Did it get burned down or something?' Shrugging, Ceres decided to look into it later and entered her own cabin. Inside were three beds and three dressers, each one on the right side of the cabin, with a pathway on the left. Ceres placed her stuff down next to the bed closest to the door, taking a seat on top of the bed while she waited for her cabin mates to show up.
  19. Check the OP, it has a list of everyone's OC and the cabin they are assigned to.
  20. @@Nomadic, @, @@ParsoOfEquestria, Ceres' recollection of the names of her children was rudely interrupted by some barbarian stallion calling everyone into some building that could be remotely distinguished as a meeting hall of sorts. Disgruntled at being interrupted, Ceres walked with Monkshood inside. Once she got through the double-oak doors, she went over to the already occupied table and sat across from a grey pegasus who was sitting next to a white pegasus. 'I'll just expand my influence here for a moment...' Ceres motioned for Monkshood to sit beside her, across from the white pegasus. "Hi, my name's Ceres. And this," Ceres pointed in Monkshood's direction, "is Monkshood. We were just getting to know each other, and when the rude stallion blew that infernal horn I decided that I might as well meet some more ponies. After all, the more the merrier right?" Ceres grinned, masking the inner cycle of thought that her mind was taking. "So what possessed you two to leave your current living situation and come to camp?"
  21. @@Nomadic, A shuffling sound behind her alerted Ceres of a presence. "Oh! There you are Monkshood!" Ceres smiled, noting how well he seemed to follow her lead. 'Yes, he's definitely coming along nicely. Now what to do with him... well, I guess that will have to wait until after I get some more information.' "So you said you wanted to hear about my babies? Well, each one of them has a name. There's Sigmund, Charly, Cherry, Kerr, Copper, Asper..." Ceres continued to name off various names of her 'children', taking a seat and looking up at the sky, counting the invisible children with a hoof.
  22. @@Nomadic, The bus stopped, shaking Ceres slightly. Ceres just shrugged, "Ok, sounds good." Ceres got up and led the way off the bus, stepping out into the fresh air. The sun was bright and the sky was clear, the forest that surrounded them was a beautiful sight to behold. Ceres took in a deep breath, enjoying the country air. 'I guess the trip wasn't completely wasted. I have some decent forestry around here, maybe I'll get some new ideas!' Ceres cracked a toothy grin as she stared off in the general direction of the forest to the right. Her mind already buzzing with new possibilities.
