Lightning Bliss

@, (OOC it's hard not to in a duel, it's all good, long as we don't end this too quickly? Dunno exactly how to end it yet) Chase was thrown back suddenly by a shockwave of energy. His disorentation only gave him enough information to tell him he was air born and flying helplessly...As he stared at the sky, he then saw his rival teleport above him with great speed, dive down on him, and with his magic, increaing their speed downward, slamming them both into the ground. He felt the air leave his chest for a second as they made impact, making a rather large wagon sized crator in the street. Bliss shook from the termors the two stallions were making. It was both amazing and horrifying to watch...To think this is what stallion unicorns did to battle for the protection of mares? She thought to herself. After a few seconds of regaining his breath....shaken but not dismissed...Chase activated his horn again, and levitated DarkStar off him...and intentionally tossed him off and onto the street. He then leaped up out of the hole in the ground, snorting and pawing the ground...his angery bursting to fury. "YOU SON OF A GOAT!" He gripped Chase once more with his levitation and lifted him up in the air, "I ought to squeeze you into cider!" He then proceeded to use his levitation to smack Dark into the street repeatly like a basket ball then slam him into buildings before finally forcing his body back into the street.

@@Eloquence, @, Bliss shook in terror, tears soaking her cheeks as she watched DarkStar stand to his defense. Then after Eloquence seemingly ran away avoiding the scene, scared as much as she was...she suddenly sensed a small spark of magic. She darted her head to see that it was Eloquences...how she knew she wasn't sure...Then she darted to see if any other pony noticed...but it appeared the other unicorn stallions have not. This is odd...I can only sense it? She asked herself, maybe it has to do with the fact I'm an alicorn? Could it be my magic is stronger then i realized...that i can sense other unicorn magic? Chase grinned from inside his firey bull spell as he watched DarkStar stand against him. "Good..." Chase grinned, "i didn't want this to be over too quickly!" At that he dismissed his bull firey shield, revealing himself once more, his horn still glowing. "What else should I use in my arsenal of magical abilities on you...Hmmm? Prehaps I could open a pit of fire around you! Or I could send more razor weapons at your worthless hide! Pfft...and to think you call yourself a unicorn... I fought pegasus more challenging then you..." He encircled DarkStar, taunting him as he went, daring him to make a move.

@@Firehearted, @@Bada3oom Box, Bliss groaned as she heard a new voice echo in the temple...As the moon's red light had begun to touch the end of her back hooves...It almost felt like its raw light was absorbing what little fight she had left...Only to make things more easier...She assumed. Soon as the light engulfed her whole body...Boom would be able to proceed...she'd be ripe for the taking. But then she heard the familiar bellow of Atlas, something sparked within her...that none of this was right. She attempted to lift herself up, but only her head and neck seemed to respond weakly, the rest of her laid where it was supposed to...submissive in the hooves of a vampire. Her hazy eyes looked mercifully at Atlas...his eyes were clearly glowing red...his fangs potruding...Was he here to take her for his own prey? She laid back down...now getting weaker and weaker as the moon approached...She still didn't want to die...and her anxiety became obvious. Her chest heaved up in down as she slowly began to hyperventilate. "I...don't want to die..." she cried out softly. @@arkman575, Zecora heaved and panted as she tried to keep up with the wolf who was powerfully dragging her behind him at full gallop. The moon had come out...it was nearly on top of them. "Oh no my friend Seth...soon Lightning Bliss will meet her death!" Zecora whinnied and loosed her hoof from him and galloped along side for a short time. "The place you seek, is a temple so bleak...It's ancient and old, with vampire bold..." The kept galloping on several more minutes till finally a temple was spoted covered in vine...and seeming to glow by the moon's red light. "There is the temple of blood you see...Hurry you must run swiftly!" Zecora pushed Seth forward, "I will only get in the way, friend of Lightning Bliss, go and hurry...save our Princess...!" The zebra sat down then and began to weep, not knowing if Lightning Bliss was alive or not by this point.

@@Pripyat Pony, Bliss nodded and got up. "Then let's go, search the area, while they have Blaze distracted!" She quickly galloped out of the booth and headed down the hall. "Now if i were Blaze's hostage...where would I be?" She muttered to herself as she rounded the corner, finding herself in another theater adjacent to the one the others were in. She sniffed the air, it was dull and dusty...as well as seeming to muffle the sounds from the other theater. "If there was a hostage here, we wouldn't be able to hear them," she stated as she lit up her horn again, looking through the rows of seats.

@, @, @@purple.teal, @@Pripyat Pony, @, "Thank you Steel, that was a close one!" Bliss stated gratefully, "and to you too Clover." She then took notice of the whole situation as well as allowed Clover to explain the situation...Everypony aside from the three of them, herself, Clover and Steel, were engaging Blaze directly...and obviously from his confident boasts, they weren't succeeding in their attacks. After a moment of listening to Everlast's claims and Clovers idea about the hostage and uniting their hours together...Bliss seemed hesitent. She never united her horn with another unicorn let alone another alicorn...and with her magic having a mind of its own...she didn't know what would happen. But one thing was for sure, the hostage was another priority and an unknown one...They would need to secure him or her, wherever they were being held. "We can't unite our horns yet Clover...not till we find this hostage," she finally collected herself. "If we can get the hostage to a safe place...I...I..." she quivered still nervously, "I'll unite horns with you...but I"m scared...I don't know what will happen with my magic if I do...I don't know what it will do to you or the others...to Blaze..."

@@Eloquence, @, Bliss wasn't sure what all Eloquences plotting and planning were going to lead to, but all she could do was nod to her and trust in her judgement. She looked to her bird pet and smiled as the little thing. "Sucha clever animal," she smiled to it and extended her hoof out to allow the bird to land on her. "I still don't know what you plan to do...if you mean you want to give medical aid to DarkStar I'm not sure it will be allowed..." Chase's flaming bull spell cast was preventing most of DarkStar's attacks. It was more used as a shield but he'd taken up this spell to be used more as an offensive. It indeed take a lot out of him, but thanks to years of practice in magical arts to fight against more dangerous beings...he was withholding his composure well. He jerked his large bull body forward, stomping the ground and shaking the blow from his neck. "Think a blow to the neck will stop me colt?" He roared out in a demonic lion roar, "best to do better then that!?" He charged again, this time not giving much warning, slamming dead on into DarkStar's side. "DARK STAR!!!" Bliss whinnied out in terror as she saw the darker gray unicorn fly several feet from the blow.

@, @@Eloquence, Bliss turned after she had dodged what thought to be a flaming spike hurling towards them. She shook with fear and disorientation, but managed to compose herself long enough to answer Eloquence's bizzare question. "What do you mean?" She asked. Meanwhile Chase was using his own magic to neutralize the paralization that was thrown at him. It didn't take too long considering he had studied this in magic school and the means to repel it in case one unicorn were to be ambushed in a duel. He grinned as the neutralization spell worked. Then turned to DarkStar...his teeth suddenly began to turn into fangs. "So...you think it's stubborness that's my issue?" He grinned as his body began to animorph... "then see what a stubborn bull thinks of that!" He then transformed his form into a flaming fire red bull with fangs and yellow eyes. He snorted and howled, swaying his large horned head, then began to charge... "Oh my Luna..." Bliss whinnied! "Stop, that's not fair he's cheating!" Bliss yelled at the older unicorn ref. "Not at all your Highness!" The old stallion grinned, "he's using magic to attack! Oh this is getting good!"

@, *WHINNIES LOUDLY* Bliss whirled over crying out as several film boxes that surrounded her in the booth, began to play at once, airing onto multpile big screens within the theater. The sudden tumble got her all tangled up in old blank film reel lengths. "Gah...darn it all!" She tried to rationalize the films going off due to she must have hit a switch and attempted to pull herself loose. Though unknown to her sight, the more she pulled...the more she loosened a heavy wooden shelf, stacked with more film, began to tilt its way towards her, threatening to fall down on the helpless alicorn.

@@purple.teal, As Bliss made her way behind the stage to what now she realized to be the filming booths, she squeaked a bit seeing a green like tendirol of pagic touch her leg. She realized then it was the magic conjured by Everlast as his way to keep tabs on everypony. She relaxed a little...only to shiver up again when he whispered magically to everypony "he's got friends..." Bliss gulped...was this friend really an accomplice by will? Or did this entity really have the ability to mind control other ponies as well? She kept her guard up at this point, keeping her horn lit out in front of her, as she peered into the film booth. "H-hello?" She whispered into the dark, cobweb room, "anypony here? I mean no harm...? I'm just...trying to find my friend..."

While everypony else entered at their own descretion, Bliss continued to hover above, trying to keep a safe distance and hope she would just magically spot Blaze from afar...but after what felt like forever, if only a minute or two, she decided to descend to the stage. Landing down with a skip and and a slip on her golden hooves, she sweeped her tail across the stage, trying to spot any hoof prints. She spotted what looked to be a barriage of theater waste or boxes littered in the middle of it, but didn't pay much mind as she continued to scan the stage and behind the curtains. "Come on Blaze..." she spoke in a normal concerned voice, "i know you're battling for your freedom...you got to be here...you got to...you just got to..." She turned her back away from the barricade of debre and stuck her nose behind another curtain that led to the back of the stage to the what appeared to be makeup rooms.

@, Bliss nodded to Clover and Hurricane as well as the others. She waved to all of them from down below, pointing to the cinema. But from here...she wasn't sure how they should handle this. But she did recall a saying from the buffalo cheif who told her the tails of his elders...when they used to battle for territory agains their enemies. "The trick is..." she remembered, "is to take your enemy by surprise?" At that she didn't think, nor bother to tell the others. She spotted a rotted out wooden part in the roof of the cineme, just wide enough for her to dive through. She played it all out before she even could stop herself. She dived down towards the roof of the cinmea too scared to let Blaze escape again. She slammed head first into the roof, her horn aglow at the ready for anything...She wasn't even sure if her own magic of peace seemed to be waiting as well...but she felt the surge to help Blaze more then ever. After breaking through the cinema, roof, she found herself hovering in the theater, with several red seats facing a stage. She twisted and turned in mid-air, struggling to see in the dark damp abadoned theater. "Blaze???!!!" She cried out, her voice echoing through the building, "can you hear me Blaze!?"

She felt like she was on display for something as she groaned to look up at the stone like ceiling. She noticed some ancient text, all looking like they were begining to glow slightly as the day slowly began to turn to night...Then she looked up and noticed there was an opening directly above her. It was a large circle window through the roof, displaying the colors of dusk as Celestia began her duty of lowering the sun. Tonight was a special night...Lightning Bliss could sense it somehow...Soon Luna would display an ancient reminder to all the world, through her artistic warrior display in the moon...It was to be red...blood red...And...when it rises, it would come to be perfectly centered over this window she was now helplessly laying under. And with that bright red light touches her body...then...then she knew...her life would be at its end...in the fangs of the vampire ruler... "No..." she groaned unable to move, both by her illness and by the pain throbbing headach Boom gave her. The text on the ancient walls were getting brighter...soon they'd be lit ablaze with red when the moon was on top of her. "Boom...Blight...she...she'll...kill..." she gave up talking, merely turning to her side...She didn't know why she did that, turning to her side like that. It only gave Boom better access to her neck. Why am I letting this happen...? I don't want it to...Bliss tried to reason with herself, But...i can't move...I can't use magic...I...I just can't...I feel like... Like this was meant to happen...Dear sister...Blight smiled as she answered the terrified mare, My spell is no longer in control of your body anymore...It's the blood red moon...and the propehcy...this place...You were meant to lie here, on this sacrifical slab...you were meant to give your life for the greater good of a powerful vampire race... But...but there's got to be another way...I don't want to die...what about...my husband? My family...my friends...she began to sob. Shhh...Don't worry... When you're light fades from our body... I'll take over, and I'll deal with all your concerns my way...And Boom will suffer for being so nieve to think that she'd be ruler of the vampire kind! Bliss sobbed more and more, her tears seeming to interact with the slab's own text she lay on. She didn't know what it said...probably merely telling the story of the sacrifical ruler who laid there...was giving their life for the greater good. But one thing was for sure, despite her body had accepted it...She looked up to Boom, for fear of the vampire's dead living life...and her family. A few minutes of crying out of fear and pity...she pulled her mind away from this place...from the fear, from the dark and redness...and focused on her loved ones... She could remember her wedding day, after the dreadful battle between the gryphons and draconequus. The power and love in Nights Hoopla's arms as he took her into his embrace...his soft fuzzy lips...his violet eyes entranced into her own...She remembered their romantic nights together...how gentle he held her as their love turned to pleasure and deep connection. When he spoke to her...his words were soft and with meaning...giving her strength and happiness. "Nights...my sweet Nights Hoopla..." she spoke out, not caring if Boom heard. She could see him...his face...though so distant, he was smiling down on her...She was safe outside her mind, laying on their bed back at home...in their cute mushroom house...It was a beautiful night, she was so tired...and sleepy...but didn't want him to go. "I'm...so sorry I can't...I can't get up...and hold you..." she cried, reaching a hoof out to him, towards the open ceiling. Shhh... it's ok sweety, I'm here with you....I'll always be with you...in your heart. She heard his voice...not caring if she was hullicinating...or mabye even this place itself...was helping her to be calm in the face of death. The illision of her husband took her hoof and placed it down gently. It will be alright....you'll see... "I didn't want it to...be this way...I'm so sorry...I wasn't...a good enough...alico-" No...you are a great alicorn...no matter what happends tonight...You must know this...you are a great...strong alicorn princess...And I am so proud of you...Rest now my love...it will be light soon... The vision suddenly vanished away, and she cried out when he disappeared, reaching out to nothing...only for her to give into his words...and lay there...waiting for the end.

@, "GAH!" Chase blocked the beams up with one of his hooves as his claw like fire weapon slammed into the street. His target clearly teleported out of the way before it could slam home. He too teleported out of the line of fire, only to land behind Darkstar, smirking devlishly. "Ah but you stupid cold, I never admit to surrender or defeat!" At that he conjured sharp spikes from under the ground, poking out of the earth like hellish trees on a growth potion, seperating both of them for the moment. Then, using his red magic, he pulled the spikes from the ground like roots, lit them a blaze, and sent them diving towards DarkStar, threatning to cut him up like a carrot. Bliss closed her eyes, unable to watch as Eloquence asked her, what they could do. "I...I don't know..." she shook, "i have no ability to take us out of this area...I could only teleport one of us out if i wanted to...But I cant leave all of us behind!"

@@Bada3oom Box, "Please..." Bliss pleaded again...but was only met with a swift...powerful hoof to the side of her head. The pain was brief...as did the results...Once again she gave into darkness...a sleep of unconciousness. -- In her mind -- "Well perfect...just perfect...now I'll have to deal with Boom..." Blight snarled as she stared at the unconcious Lightning Bliss laying down in the depths of her mind.

@, @@Eloquence, Bliss blinked sensing a omnious magic that seemed to snatch them from the gala and transport them to some forigen arena, meant to be as a town and surrounded by a force field. Eloquence was still positioned on her tail but they were both clearly at a distance from the two stallions DarkStar and Chase Razor as a bizzare old stallion stood more or less as...their referee? "What in the name of Princess Luna is going on here?" She asked to any who listened. Chase meanwhile was confused as well, but paid no mind when he realized the duel was going on without a hitch to his delight. Pays no consequence, I get my fight...knock this ignorant colt to the ground, get my revenge on Lightning Bliss and then...He eyed Eloquence who was with his prey in the distance, who knows...I'll have the little green filly for dessert. "Very well old stallion..." Chase snorted and lit his horn up. "GOOD! Heres the rules my powerful friends!" The old pony bounded up and down with joy, "there will be no deaths during this duel! Its a battle till one falls and can no longer get up! Break their legs if you gotta but NO DEATHS!" "Break...their bones?" Bliss shook with fear. "You may teleport where you like but not outside this street area!" the old unicorn went on, "all magic tolerated except for healing spells! Do we understand each other boys?!" Chase merrily stomped the ground, anxious to get the fight moving. When the old stallion checked to see if the other stallion DarkStar was ready, he took several paces back..."Ready...? Set....BEGIN!" The old pony quickly teleported out of the duel area. Chase smiled, his restraint now open to any conjure of his liking...He didn't mess around and went straight for his primary magical talents. His horn lit up bright red and gold, like a torch...and above him...out of thin air...a weapon of sharp razors as big as Dark Star, came to be...The razor like daggered swords shaped like claws pointed right at Dark...and seemed to be enguled in flames. "Ready to surrender yet?" Chase smiled and darted his horn forward, instructing the daggers to attack. The claw like fire weapon darted towards Dark Star, aiming directly.

@@Eloquence, (OOC Same since my OC can only do one pony at a time before being completely drained, she's not capable of a mass 4 pony teleportation) Bliss squeaked in pain as Eloquence yanked her back by her lioness tail and sat on it so she couldn't move. She blinked at the gesture, then back to Eloquence then back to Chase. His face grew from annoyance to frustration...he was becoming more dangerous by the second. "Eloquence let me go...It's ok I can...i can handle myself," Bliss tried to plea with Eloquence. "I don't want to make a scene just because I refuse to talk to my rival..." "Oh we'll be doing more then talking I assure you Floppy Ears..." Chase growled as he stomped towards Eloquence, shoving his snout into her own. "Remove yourself now...or face my magic... It won't be the first time I've had to use my magic on such a pretty face!"

@@arkman575, Zecora noticed the change in the wolf's eye, it wasn't filled with a blood hunger rage like she noticed before...It was calm and full of pain and sadness. She cautiously took his paw and pulled herself out of the vines and bush, dusted herself off...and took a breath. "You are Seth, Wolven Diplomat? Friend of Lightning Bliss, though not recently as of late..." Zecora sighed, "but I see you are in control, I hope you will stay so. There isn't much time though...you must go!" She darted her head back in the direction she came in, "Lightning Bliss, trapped between two villianous might, Badaboom...and the evil Blight..." her eyes teared up a bit, "it may already be too late...If Boom drains Blissy...we may all have a blood red fate..."

@@Eloquence, Chase merely waved his hoof arrogantly at the light green unicorn mare, giving her a mocking glare, like she were nothing but a small filly, annoying him with a cookie. "This is nothing to do with you mare, so I suggest you step aside. I'd hate to dampen that pretty little outfit and mane of yours..." "Stop it Chase..." Bliss took a step next to Eloquence, "she's being mature enough to tell you the facts...There is to be no duel here on the castle grounds!" Chase's confident smile soon dropped into an irritated snarl, to which he stomped over and gripped by Lightning Bliss and Eloquence by their hooves, jerking them closer to his face to make his point clear. "You're precious Princess here is a fool, young lady..." he spoke to Eloquence firmly, "if you want me to so badly NOT duel your friend here...Then you're Princess would stop being a coward and simply yield to my requests. She and I have unfinished business, and if it's not finished here then it will happen another time...But mock my words young mare..." he let go of Bliss and stroked Eloquence's cheek to her own helplessness he assumed, "I will...have my words with Lightning Bliss...she's my silver plate of revenge...and no foolish filly like you...or colt...will stand in my way. "Chase! Let her go!" Bliss stomped the ground and got between them, "Fine! Let's go! You and me, right now!" He smiled and nodded to her, "Glad to see you finally came around Floppy Ears..." He suddenly gripped her hoof and began dragging her away. (OOC If anypony would like to teleport us out of the castle, now would be a good time since I assume we still want to have a stallion duel?)

Bliss smiled as Clover claimed the totom to be working and they were all seeming to head in the right direction. She then darted her attention up ahead to see what parts of the city they were hovering over. It appeared to be a less richer part of the city, with broken buildings or apartments that had been run down from use and age. It certiantly had plenty of places to hide in, one where others wouldn't bother you. Like a needle in an apple orchird...she sighed as they continued to hover above the others. It's a good thing that we have that totom...but we really need to hurry this along...time is of the essence.

@, "This is a duel between unicorns you fool, we use magic!" Chase snorted and undid his own bow tie as well, flinging it aside. "Stop wait..." Bliss got between the two, "I can't allow this to happen...We're in a public royal area..." "Much as I hate to agree, the floppy ears is right." Chase smiled, "Outside colt...I don't want to make a mess with you on the royal carpet..." He grinned and abruptly turned away from Bliss and Dark Star, expecting them both to follow. After a few paces, he turned, eyeing Bliss hungrily, "Finally you get to see a real unicorn in action. Not some petty chaotic spirit you call a husband." "His name is Nights Hoopla..." Bliss snorted as she held up Dark Star's tie, "and you're lucky he isn't here to teleport you to the nearest dungeon in Canterlot..." "Aww..." he mocked and looked to Dark Star, "she's so cute when she's angry, don't you agree? Oh by the way, I didn't catch the name of the colt I'm about to easily school in magical arts?"

@, Chase was stunned by the quick reactions of the darker gray unicorn, but even more so, his quarry was once again taken away from him, only making him snort in frustration. But just when he was about to conjure retaliation, the rival stallion challenged him to a duel, and this only turned his frustrated snarl, to a cunning and happy grin. "You challenge me? HA!" Chase bellowed out laughing, nearly tearing at the eyes, "me? Top unicorn in his class? No unicorn could match me in a duel!" "Dark Star...what are you doing? Chase he's...he's not to be underestimated..." Bliss tried to whisper to Dark but was unfortunetly heard by Razor. "She's right you know," he grinned and began walking around Dark Star, encircling him like a wolf to a deer, "before I met Lightning Bliss as foals, I was the top of my class in magic University... Of course when my father brought...shame...to our family and I was forced to live amongst the peseants of Appleloosa..." he grinned, a short insult to Lightning Bliss and her family who still lived there, "my magic was unmatched even there...They couldn't even use me as one of the royal guards because my abilities were too good for fair obidence. Heh, their loss is what I say." "I thought you were dishonrably expelled because you used your magic on innocent civilians that were nonpony in Canterlot...?" Bliss grinned firmly back knowing that was the truth based off the reports from Shining Armor. "Shut it mare, you stay out of this." He growled and came back to be standing in front of Dark Star. "I use my magic to hunt down rogue monsters and creatures now...and they are much deadier then you could imagine...I should only give you fair warning..." He grinned and looked back to the mare the stallion claimed to help, "She's not worth the duel. Why waste your time on a reckless stupid false Princess like her? She's not worth getting your horn in a knot... Step aside and let me have my words with her. If you don't...then the duel will probably be your last one for awhile..."

@, @@Pripyat Pony, @, @@purple.teal, "Right take off!" Bliss said and pushed Clover up into the air then took off right after her, flying just along side. "We'll keep you all in our sights!" She called to Everlast, Quickdraw and Raze as she and the others flew out. She then looked to Steel as he took the front, seeming to be ready for anything. That's good, he can be the frontal assault should we spot Blaze in midair...Unlikely though, he'll probably be hiding. "Are we heading the right direction Clover?" Bliss asked as she came a little closer to make sure the grey alicorn was doing ok.

@, "Really..." Chase Razor said after ease dropping on the group secretly. He approached just behind the left side of Dark Star, "from the looks of things you seem to be a unicorn with the magical control of a foal..." Bliss snorted and took several steps back her ears pinned. "Chase...? Not again..." "Surprised to see me your Highness? You should know I don't give up on you that easily..." He smacked his lips, a devlish grin in his eyes and smile, "if you excuse me sir...The Princess and I have some things to discuss..." With that he shoved Dark Star out of the way and grabbed Bliss by her hoof roughtly. "Hey! Let go! I'm not going anywhere with you!" Bliss snorted and attempted to pull her hoof free of him. "Quit your squirming...After all...we're in public..." he grinned knowing she wouldn't make too much of a scene. Bliss turned back to Dark, her eyes pleading for help.
