He picked up Light by the neck .

 

"Did you even think of them, What their families thought when they learned of their deaths, sons learning that their fathers would never come home, mothers weeping for their sons never to return" He screamed at Light, before tossing him into a nearby building.

 

Light landed again with a thud. "I swear I never... Killed anyone... I am sworn to protect, not destroy..." Said Light again. if this keeps going on, I may have to die permanently! unless... finished Light in thought.

Abaddon hissed and let out a long, forked tongue as he emerged in the world of Equestria. The first thing he noticed was that it was dark, mainly due to the large amount of plant life that covered pretty much everything, even most of the sky due to the larger plants creating a dense canopy above. It seemed... normal however. Kind of like the forests back on Earth. How could this be? Abaddon was sure that he was "plane-jumping" to a realm with immense dark power brewing in it. What had happened? A fluke? No... Abaddon had done this way too many times to mess up like this...

 

That's when everything came into focus, and the scents of the area bombarded Abaddon's keen senses. Some of the plants were indeed unlike anything seen on Earth, and the scents of the area were riddled with the smell of creatures he knew were alien, but never encountered.... Was there any reason for him to be drawn into this place however? Yes... he could feel it... magic abounded in this world like water did the ocean. Not just ordinary magic alone though... dark magic as well. 

 

"And it seems to grow stronger every moment... no wonder I was pulled into this realm against my knowing..."

 

Abaddon then quickly turned as he heard the gruff voice of one of Sombra's guards. He didn't expect there to be any "sentient" creatures nearby. Not yet at least. When he saw the two ponies, he was surprised. He had expected at least some humanoid monsters, but not this. Horses? What the heck...

 

Are you sure we didn't do any drugs before traversing?

 

You've seen thousands of aliens and entities, but a talking horse surprises you? Wow...

 

Abaddon rose to his full height, his sharp tendrils on his back extending at the ready in case these ponies were hostile.

 

"Why? Am I crashing a royal ball? Where the heck is this place anyway?"

"We have no royal balls here in the dark Everfree forest." Replied the one, trying to ignore the tendrils protruding from the back of the man. "And we only have a king, the ruler of darkness, Sombra." Replied the other, who was visibly shaken from the new arrival. "What's it to you?" They asked simultaneously.

Ambrose preformed a quick heal on the pony pinned to the ground. Then she rued over to Light, "love, oh no" she looked at glowing. "I don't know, he..." She stopped a tear in her eye. He really had to stop dying so much, this was really testing fate now, he was a miracle

Light coughed, and said slowly to Ambrose, "I know... I know... I'll make it... I hope... I might regenerate, but... It feels different this time..." He rasped.

"Ambrose! I'm comi-" Light began to shout, before he was sent hurtling head first into a stone. "Ah-ah..." Groaned Light in pain. When he heard of killing defenders, he questioned him. "I- I never murdered a soul..." Said Light. He tried to send a message to Ambrose. "Ambrose, I'll summon Glowing. It may be a while before I'm free. He'll help." Said Light on the message.

After receiving a call from Light, Glowing shot off to Ambrose's position. "What has- oh, my Celestia." Said Glowing, kneeling down. "What happened?"

Astral was a little surprised to see that she was right, it was getting dark. He was going to have to make this trip fast, since something told him that his parents wouldn't like him staying out late. "Well ok, just along as we don't stay long," he responded as he grew a little more worried.]

"Let us make haste, then, if you don't have much time to spare." Said Howl. She bounced at an incredibly quick pace for a pony, if not, anything, for that matter, and before too long, the two arrived at an observatory "see?" Asked Howl, "zips it worth it, or what?" She asked triumphantly.

In the middle of the Everfree, two guards of Sombra wandered about, doing their daily rounds. "What's the point?" Asked one. "In case any pony comes in, you knucklehead!" Replied the other. "Well, I don't see any- what is that?!" Called the first. A ball of light encompassed the area. "Holy Dark!" Shouted one, as the light began to fade, there in the middle laid a person. The two guards immediately shouted a "Halt!"

"Tyranny?" Asked Light, leaping again, "what are you flapping your mouth about? I'm not a tyrant!" Shouted Light. "Come on, let's breathe for. Minute, go, get some coffee, maybe?" Joked Light.

Oh this could turn out with a alien and a space marine having a duel, interesting.

Now seeing as how this pretty far advanced, I wouldn't mind just getting thrown into the fray of a battle (or at least a place with some baddies running about). The cause for Scipio's emergence in Equestria could be a result of him traversing the supernatural realms in search for more dark knowledge. As he did this, the influence of Sombra somehow pulled him into Equestria.

Yeah, something along those lines. You can actually feel free to make a post dropping him into a place, that way I can immediately get to writing his reaction and the good stuff xD.

"YOU MONSTER, I WILL END YOU" He screamed into the sky, firing the free-electron laser at Light

((Not the the best thing to get hit by, as it fries out you nervous system for a few seconds, to leave you vulnerable to attack)

He then pulled out his chainsaw sword, but did not activate it just yet.

"HOLY-" began Light, flipping over the beam. "Whoa, whoa, let's calm down here for a minute. I'm not a symbiotic life form anymore, so, technically, I'm not a monster, and what are you doing with a chainsaw blade?" Asked Light, staring at the blade. "Amazing make, I have to say, you must be a great craftsman." Complimented Light.

"Well it's nice meet you to howl," Astral said to the hyper filly, and then he at a loss on what to do next. He tried thinking about for a little while, he was at a complete loss. "So what you want to do? he asked howl with a face that was half smiling and half confused.

"what do I want to do?" She asked, stopping her smile and cocking her head. "Why don't we head down to the astronomy center?" She asked, happy. "It's starting to get dark out, so we'll be able to see all the stars!" She shouted excitedly, bouncing once again in a glee.

Well, here is the character I typically use for "hero" RPs. I do realize that the character is rather powerful, but considering Equestria is filled with powerful mages and monsters, seems only fair to give him more of a fighting chance. Don't worry though, I've worked with this character in other RPs and have never had anyone get on my case for OPness. However, if you feel changes must be made, do tell.

Name: Scipio Kathar

Alias: Abaddon

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Appearance 1 (as human): Scipio stands around 5'10" and has a strong body build to back up his already powerful, well carried presence. He is reasonably handsome, bearing a light to medium brown skin tone and dark brown eyes. To add to his attractive features, Scipio has medium length, curly black hair. He also typically wears dark colors of clothing, mostly black and red, although he sometimes wears blue as well.

Appearance 2 (as symbiote Abaddon): Whenever Scipio uses his symbiote to become his "other self", Abaddon, his appearance drastically changes to look nothing short of a demon. The symbiote completely covers his body and visage, giving his being the primary color of pitch black. Abaddon's black body also has some streaks and patterns of crimson red which mainly run along his arms, legs, body, and back. Abaddon also bears a larger, secondary fanged mouth on his torso, and also acquires razor sharp fangs and claws and forms several sharp tendrils from his back. In addition, his posture becomes more feral, even to the point where Abaddon can comfortably move around on all fours.

Abilities

   Scipio's bond with a powerful alien symbiote has endowed him with numerous abilities. Both his physical abilities and his senses are enhanced to a superhuman level (ex: enhanced strength, speed, agility, endurance, perception, intelligence, etc), making him a deadly physical combatant. To add to this, Scipio can alter the symbiote's being to form extra appendages, blades and other weapons, extra fangs and tendrils. He can even alter his own being to become that of the symbiote's amorphous form. In all, Scipio's symbiotic bond and abilities are a force to be reckoned with by even the most powerful and skilled of mutants and those connected to the supernatural alike...

   Scipio's abilities do not end with advanced symbiosis however, because he has acquired the means to wield great dark power from a different realm entirely. He can use this power to create surges of an overwhelming energy which can potentially obliterate any target it comes into contact with. This energy also has the added effect of distorting most magical and energy fields, and can also be manipulated to fuse with his claws or to become a protective aura around Scipio. Drawing deeper into his dark powers and knowledge, Scipio can even merge the current area of the realm he is in with that of the Dark Realm from which his powers originates, twisting the area into a literal "living" nightmare.

Weaknesses

Abaddon is weak to intense heat and sound, powerful surges of electricity, and forms of light magic.

Personality: Scipio is very intelligent, and despite his backstory, can be quite the happy guy, often making jokes and witty comments of everything. He has also been described as fun and interesting... Things are all good and well for the most part, but Scipio's lighthearted nature is often intertwined with his darker side. His darker side isn't the typical angry, brooding type (though it can be), but is more morbid, sadistic and insane in a humorous sort of way. This side is most definitely elaborated on by the symbiote, and when brought out, it can definitely make others think that he's not really all that good in the head (which for all intents and purposes, is kind of true). There is more to delve into his persona however, although how much of it he reveals to others and even himself is still yet to be seen.

Backstory

   In truth, Scipio did not originate from any kind of "extreme" background. He was well raised by his parents, lived in a decent area, and was successful in both his advanced Academics and sports. He didn't really have much to complain about, but this did not stop him from developing some internal issues. For one, he was actually dissatisfied with himself, mainly his "humanity". Scipio felt that his body and mind were limited by his humanity, and seeing the emergence of superheroes and supervillains alike only made his yearning for a raising of his nature even stronger. He was also quite lonely, suffering heartbreak and believing that his "friends" were nothing but fluff, mere acquaintances around him to just give him the chance to open his mouth and speak to someone for once. Dissatisfaction, bouts of rage and depression, all these factors are what made the alien symbiote become so attracted to him, and when it did finally show itself to its potential host, Scipio more than willingly bonded with it. Cutting a deep gash across his chest (particularly along the area of his heart), the two quickly developed a strong, highly advanced bond, the symbiote, as Scipio puts it, "truly raising his nature and eating away his pathetic humanity". Having also been imparted with all the acquired knowledge of the symbiote, Scipio quickly surpassed and completed his academics, although this was "nothing to him and only done to feign normality and please his parents". Once he moved out, Scipio decided to actually take up the work of a "superhero", believing that his knowledge and power should be used as such. However, if he was going to do this, he was going to do it his own way, becoming more of a feared Anti-Hero than a beloved and sought for Superhero....

   Months after his uptaking of his anti-heroic role in the world, the realm of Scipio's world itself was threatened by the emergence of a being simply known as "The Dark Entity". Coming from a completely different, nightmarish realm, this being was bent on combining its own realm with Scipio's, and it was powerful enough that a temporary group of supers and villains were formed to fight back its invasion. On a close one-on-one fight, The Dark Entity gained the upperhand on Abaddon and cast him into its dark realm, believing it would be amusing to find this troublesome foe be victimized and tortured by the horrors of  the dark realm. However, Abaddon tore his way through this nightmarish world, eventually reaching the Citadel of The Dark Entity where he gorged his mind on all of the dark knowledge and powers that were locked away in there. Making his way back to his world, Abaddon was amused to find that The Dark Entity had subdued nearly all of the ones fighting against him, but was just as quickly enraged to find his world slowly being overtaken the dark realm. Abaddon eventually bested The Dark Entity, gladly taking the rest of his abilities and taking his position and authority over the realm from which it came, now known as "Gehenna"....

   As for the symbiote, it is really quite ancient, being several millennia old (Scipio approximates it to be at least 2000 years old). This longevity was not used idly by it, as it spent its entire life bonding to a variety of different hosts from other planets and galaxies. Its unions with numerous hosts and exposure to different environments have allowed it to become one of the most powerful members of its race, the benefits it confers to its host being significantly more potent and numerous than most symbioses, and its own adaptability and resilience being increased as well. Its journeys to other worlds have allowed it to gain much knowledge. Its departure into other worlds is not without explanation though. Years ago when it was still just a "fledgling", a race of curious aliens visited its planet to study it and the things living there, perhaps in hopes of increasing relations with other life forms or to find a new place to live. These aliens were rather appalled to find the vicious symbiotes there, and quickly left. The "Abaddon Symbiote" (along with several others at the time), became stowaways on the several spacecrafts of the alien race, thus allowing it to bond with a host and take its first "steps" into its travels through the universe...

One night, well, actually, this evening, there has been a gathering of several ponies at the Hamilton Museum. All of the ponies there are excited to hear the discoveries of Professor Dirk Carlton, who has returned from Egypt, and has taken with him a national treasure: The Eye of Uadjit. Everything went well at first, but suddenly, the lights go out. And, when they come up, there is a cry of "Professor Carlton has been stabbed in the ear with his pencil! I think he's dead!" Now, everypony present is being held as suspects, and the suspense builds. And, with the investigation, will we find out, or will this killer get away with,

Now, one of the people signed up to be a suspect will be the murderer. If you are interested to be the murderer, PM me after you've signed up, and I'll see if I can accept you. I, however, will not reveal the murderer to the detectives.

 

Directions for the SUSPECTS:

6 of the 7 suspects are innocent of murder. Your task is to prove you're innocent by any means necessary.

 

Directions for the DETECTIVES:

Your task is to find who killed Dirk. Using the clues that will be revealed as the story progresses, you can make ideas and talk to the other detectives about who you think killed Dirk. Once you have guessed, you must state the reasons you believe they are the killer, meaning you can't just guess. Once you are correct, and have evidence, the RP will conclude. You can only accuse 3 people. If you guess wrong all three times, the RP is over and the murderer has won. So, make your decisions carefully.

 

Directions for the MURDERER:

Your task is to try and get away with the murder. You can lie like a dog. You can do anything to get way with it, except for killing another person. Never, ever, reveal you are the killer. Only I can reveal this, and I will only reveal it at the end if the RP.

Blood landed with a mighty BOOM. He lifted himself out of the burning wrekage that had been several abandoned homes, to face a pony his helmet interphase Identified as Light.

 

"Light Streak?" He called out in his thunderous voice.

"Yes, that's me." Said Light. "And who are you? I don't recognize you as Dark Spot or anything." Said Light, "so I'll assume you're a new recruit of the dark force." Concluded Light.

I figured I'd bump this a little, as I need a few more participants. Yes, this is still going on.

Astral looked at the filly she seem nice, talkative, and a bit bubbly, but still  nice. "Sure, I'm Astral," he said while smiling "What's yours?"  Well he did it. It almost seemed too easy, was that all he had to do was to go up and just talk? It him wonder what he was afraid about, when meeting new ponies.

 

"Oh, goody!" Exclaimed the filly, smiling again. "My name is Howling Frost." Said the filly, "and it's good to meet you, new friend!" She said, smiling all the while. "You'll get used to my hyper activeness, soon. Not all ponies are as welcoming as me, though, so that may explain it." Elucidated the filly.

Then One of the Changlings turn into Ambrose, Light as they blasting at the Real Ambrose and Light. Rainbow Dash and Fireblaze keep fighting the Changlings as they slash them too.

Then Coppy See Derpy crying then he smirks as he turn into Dinky and went to Derpy. “Mommy I am here.” *Then Coppy posing as Dinky have a knife behind his back.

“Daughter is that you?” Derpy saying.

Light slashed at the changelings, trying to stop them in their quest to kill Ambrose and he.

The sentinel releases a horrible cry, before falling to the ground, dazed and confused. "You... You won't destroy... My... Destiny...." Said the sentinel in his last breath.

Each guard singled out a combatant, and attacked them. While they would not last long, all they needed to do was keep the group busy for a few seconds.

 

Blood reached the Apex of his climb, and allowed gravity to take him. He fell like a meteor, glowing red as he descended. He aimed for the small spot of light that was ponyville, ready to fight. He quickly checked weapons, a large Chainsaw sword, and a free electron laser. They were both good and ready to go. He would show these heretics no mercy.

After downing the Chengelings, Light glared around. A new threat approached, "combatants of the dark cause." Glared Light. "They're trying to stall for... Something..." Said Light, suddenly seeing the red streak. "What the shock?" He asked, seeing it land. "Whatever that is, it's most likely not friendly. I'll check it out." Volunteered Light, stepping from the area, running in the direction of the downed object.

When he arrived, he looked at what had landed. "Hello?" He called at it.

"Cease the senseless debating!" Commanded Light. "We will deal with matters of separation in the not too distant future. For now, however, we must instead, be attempting to uncover what has occoured to make us like we are today. Any ideas?" Asked Light, hoping to receive an idea.

"Maybe part of it, but, why?" Questioned Light, pacing back and forth at a fast rate. "Maybe if we find who, or what, caused this, we can find a way to separate the personalities, resulting in two different ponies. All of us would be free!" Exclaimed Light in utter glee.

"I agree with you as well, madam." Said Light to Selune. "There is no sense in strife. Upon hearing the comment from Deranged, Light thought something. "Maybe not..." he whispered to himself. "Would you be up for it, Dark?" Asked Light. "Of course I would!" Replied Dark.

I'd like to join this actually, I could use some more roleplaying to get my mind off some things. My character would be of Earth, so he won't be a pony. Is this ok?

Also, I know that the title says apps are still open, but I just want to make sure that this is still going on since the RP seems pretty far advanced. How active is this usually by the way?

you can join, and yes, we are far in. I recently rebooted the RP, hoping for new members. No luck. Until now. This RP is mild to moderate when it comes to how many people post. It would be amazing if bothers knew and could join, yet it's not known. Shame.

Blood seemed shocked.

 

"Has the Heresy not been quelled? Horace's followers still live?" Blood Rift asked himself.

 

"I will crush this heretic in the name of you, God-Emperor Sombra, and in the defense of the Imperium of Ponykind" Blood Rift Said, slamming his front hoof against his chest plate with a mighty clang.

 

"ALL HAIL THE EMPEROR, it shall be done, but before I go, what of the other Space Marine chapters?" Blood asked with worry.

 

((Basically, what happened to the space marines, his brothers. I'd be careful in what you tell him xD. If you tell him they perished, Light will have an interesting first contact with Blood))

Icarus sat at the ready, waiting  in case someone was injured, he  pulled out his crossbow just in-case.

Sombra was puzzled for a minute, but the Master nodded at him, and Sombra let out a lie. "Light Streak killed them." He lied, "in an act of rebellion. Although the followers of Horace are gone, this maniac is a new sort of evil." Said Sombra, still lying, but hoping that Blood wouldn't notice.

Astral looked filly and smiled, he wasn't prepared for his kinda hyperness. However non the lease he continued to talked to her. "So what's up?" He asked wondering if this filly was like this with all of the ponies who were the same age as them. Then another part of his bumped in and told him to just go with.

 

"Oh, not much, just excited about talking to you!" Shouted the filly in delight. "I don't get talked to much, I'm a bit of a social outcast. It escapes me why some ponies, most ponies, mind you, seem to avoid me at all costs." Said the filly, concluding the bouncing, and starting to hang her head.

Blast flew above the storm and began darting downwards towards the sentinel, with all of the intentions of catching him off his guard and sending him into the ground. Suddenly, the army up above began giving chase to the stallion. So, Blast kicked it up and dived faster.

 

Light jumped up and used his blade to take out the portion of the army above Blast, before descending once again. "Blast?" He called, "Show him no mercy!" He concluded.

The sentinel looked left and right, for a way out, or for Blast. "Show yourself, coward!" He shouted.
