Miyu blinked, taking the bag back. "It's called a handshake... Do you not know what that is?" she asked, confusion all over her face. -This boy doesn't even know what a handshake is? Seriously, what did they teach them where he lived before...- she thought, sighing.

Midnight looked up at him, tears still streaming down her face. "Scared...? How could I ever be scared of you...? I love you... More than anything... I don't care if you're Lucifer's son... To me, you are my one and only Grell... And that's all I care about..." She buried her face back into his chest, sniffling. Celestia blinked, smiling. -Wow... She must truly love this stallion... Even after keeping something like this from her, she's still so kind and affectionate to him...- Lunar sighed, closing her eyes. "I hope whatever he's doing won't hurt him... I'll be really upset if something happened to my precious Steel..." she said aloud, snuggling under the covers. Luna looked at Leif, still blushing. -Does this stallion have feeling towards us...?- she thought, curious.

Midnight walked into Celestia's study. She looked at Grell, tears in her eyes. She ran over to him and clung onto him, tears rolling down her cheeks. Celestia blinked, looking at her. -She's not scared??- Lunar sighed, flying back up to her room, laying in bed. Luna blinked, blushing more. She looked away, a shy smile on her face.

Miyu blinked, noticing he wasn't taking Ikaru's hand. "Wh...what do you mean?" she quietly asked, looking down at Ikaru's hand. -He could at least show a little gratitude... We did just let him join after everything that has been said and done... And I gave him the last of my money and not a single thank you was given...-

Luna sighed. She looked at Midnight Aurora. "I would like to relax. With Leif. Alone," she sighed, looking stressed. She just wanted to be alone with Leif, and hopefully de stress. She then looked back at Leif and the portrait, blushing. She smiled, looking at him. "Wow... It's so pretty..." Lunar's ears lowered. "Okay..." She flew off without saying another word. Midnight sighed, releasing herself from their magic. "Look, I know you are following Grell's orders, but leave me be. I do not need to be guided around by the hoof like some filly." She began walking a little better. Celestia blinked, feeling her aura getting close. "Speaking of Midnight..."

Luna handed it to him. She then looked at Midnight Aurora. "Look, just because you are strong, do not underestimate the powers of Hemoe. We do not want you fighting him again and that is final. Now, if you don't mind, I would like to relax." Midnight stood up, opening the door and walking out, using the wall to lean on. -I have to go talk to Grell... He has to know I don't hate him...- Celestia sighed. "I wonder how she'll react to what you announced..." she thought aloud, looking out the window of her study. Lunar walked up to Steel. "What are you doing???"

Celestia shook her head. "Only alicorns have enough magic to handle that spell," she responded. "By the way, how is Midnight doing?" Luna walkedup to the gates of the garden, opening them. "We're here," she said, smiling at Leif. Midnight shook her head. "I'm fine... I need... I need to see Grell..." She tried getting up again. She stumbled to the door, collapsing in front of it.

Midnight slowly stopped crying, wiping her eyes. "I...I want to go see him..." She tried getting up, but fell off the bed. "O-ow!" She grabbed her wing; it had made a pop when she fell. Luna nodded, walking up to the gardens. Celestia smiled. "That smile looks good on you, Hemoe," she said, ruffling his mane.

Luna blinked. She smiled, nodding. "Alright..." she said softly. Midnight continued to cry. -Why would he think I'd be scared of him? I love him! I'd love him no matter what!- Celestia finished, taking her horn off of Hemoe. "Well, how do you feel, Hemoe?" she asked, smiling.

Luna blinked, looking at Leif. She blushed, smiling a little. Midnight blinked, looking at them. Her eyes swelled with tears. "Wh...why didn't he tell me...before now...? Why...? I thought... I though he..." She buried her face in her pillow and began to cry. Celestia continued to use her magic, filling him with emotion and knowledge of pony behaviors and lingo.

Miyu smiled, bowing respectfully. "Welcome to the guild, Agravain." She sat the pouch of money in the hand Ikaru wasn't going to shake. She then stepped back, her hand touching her own guild tattoo on her hip. -I hope we can help him find his friend... I really want to help this man...-

Lunar followed him, curious. -What is he doing...?- she thought. Celestia nodded and closed her eyes, touching her horn to his forehead. It began to glow pink. Soon after, his body begun to glow pink too. Midnight's eyes fluttered open. She looked around, blinking. -My room...? How did I end up here...? Did Grell bring me...?- She blinked, her eyes widening as she sat up. "Wait, Grell's father is-?!" She remembered what he had said before her fight began. She was too focused on winning to really let it sink in until now.

Midnight stayed passed out on her bed. She was still panting a little. Lunar blinked, looking at Steel. She followed him, wondering where he's going. Celestia blinked, lookingat Grell. "Yes. I can give him emotion. Is this what you want? If so, Hemoe, please come over to me."

Midnight was panting a little, her coat still matted in her blood. Celestia blinked, standing up. She sighed, looking away. Luna blinked, trotting over to Celestia. "Sister, if you use your magic, you can-" "Let Grell handle it. For some reason, this new Midnight isn't accepting my magic... Only Grell and Hemoe's..." Celestia opened her wings, taking off to her study. -Why isn't her body excepting my magic...? Just what is going on with her...? It's like she's completely shut me off somehow...- Lunar blinked, walking over to Luna. "Mother...?"

Midnight was still too drained from pushing herself so hard. She collapsed, passing out. Celestia gasped. "M-Midnight!" She ran over to her, kneeling down beside her as she pushed Hemoe out of the way. She used her magic and restored her energy, her ears flat. Luna blinked, watching. "She must have pushed herself too far," she thought aloud, sighing.

Midnight glared at him, still trying to get out. She was too weak. Her head dropped, her eyes low. She knew she was injuried bad. Her chest, flank and wings were bleeding bad; she pushed herselftoo hard for her first real fight. Luna blinked, noticing her not struggling anymore. -Is it over? Is he actually winning this time??- she thought. Celestia winced at the blood flowing from all the gashes on her body. Was it his possession magic or her will to fight that was keepingher standing?

Midnight blinked, moving into his stance. She tried to move, but couldn't. She growled, using her magic to try and free herself. Luna sighed, looking away. "And you turned a perfectly normal mare into a killing machine. A mare you supposedly care for and love," she replied coldly. Celestia blinked, noticing Midnight. -Please let Grell call the match soon... Midnight's losing so much blood...-

Midnight got cut by one of the blades, this one slicing her chest. She cringed, stumbling back. She glared at him, using her magic to summon more kunai. She pointed them straight at him, smirking. "As am I," she said, throwing wave after wave of kunai at him. Luna sighed, using her magic. A small bag of bits landed near Grell. "There's your money."

Celestia still looked worried, but nodded. She nuzzled into him for a moment before giving a small smile. "You are very precious to me, Chronos. I don't want to lost you." Luna overheard Midnight Aurora and sighed. "You will not be fighting him again. You are not destroying our one chance at being able to beat that tyrant with flying colors."

Midnight growled in frustration, readying her blade. She flash stepped tords him again in a zig zag so he can't predict where she's coming from. She then painfully opened her wings and flew up, pointing her blade abd nose diving down, the blade slicing right through his head. Luna blinked, looking at Chronos. Celestia looked at Chronos, worry in her eyes. "I don't want you getting hurt..." she said, not wanting him to fight her.

Luna blinked, looking at Chronos. "We don't think she's a monster. It just comes as a shock to us that she changed so drastically..." Celestia looked at Chronos. "So you want to revert her back to that small, fragile little pegasus for everyone to ridicule again? She is not a monster; she's just changed. I don't see her as a threat. I'm just surprised is all. Midnight glared at him. "I think not!" She thrust her magic out, the bloody trap being shred intoa million pieces. She grabbed the sword and threw it down, throwing him to the ground and keeping her hoof on his throat. She put just enough pressure on it so that he couldn't move and had trouble breathing. She then used her magic to chain him down to the ground with unbreakable chains, pointing her blade at his neck. "Now THAT is match."

Midnight growled, trying to get free. She lookedat Hemoe, teeth bared. "Release me and fight like you mean it, you coward!" Luna's ears lowered, sighing. "She wanted to be like this...?" Celestia shook her head. "If Midnight did this of her own free will, I will not take that away from her. I guess the years of everypony telling her she was weak finally got to her..." Lunar sighed, looking at Midnight Aurora. "My eclipse will not last much longer. And copying her moves will not be that easy. I can tell by the way she moves that it takes a lot of magical focus and effort. It is not something youcan learn in a matter of minutes."

Midnight growled, grabbing her blade and charging at him. She flash stepped behind him and sliced her blade right through his body, cutting him in half. Blood sprayed all over her, making her golden eyes almost glow. Luna gasped, stumbling back. She'd never seen Midnight so blood thirsty before. "Wh-what did you do to her? She's nothing like the Midnight we know..."

Midnight cringed as she got sliced a few times trying to get out of the way; her flank was slashed on both sides, and her wings were mangled. She landed, panting a little. She used her magic to heal her wings as best as she could, dodging the rest of his attacks. She then concentrated her magic, sending waves of magic produced kunai at him, pinning him to a tree. Her flank and wings were still bleeding badly, but she acted like it barely phased her. Luna blinked, looking at Midnight. "Will she be okay? She's bleeding pretty bad..." Lunar looked at Midnight A. "My best bet would be to not challange him again. Your healing abilities may be strong, but he could still tear you to shreds. I mean, look what he's doing to Midnight. And she's proven to be a better opponent so far..." Celestia's eyes widened, her ears flattening. "M-Midnight!"

Midnight dodged all of the whips except for one, it slicing her cheek. She then used the magic Grell had taught her, flash stepping right up in his face. She smirked, punching him hard in the snout, a sickening crunch being heard soon after. She then opened her wing and flew straight up, then aimed herself and her blade right at him. She closed her eings, nose diving her blade right through his neck/chest, blood spraying everywhere. Lunar cringed at the crunch. Luna was in utter shock; she never could have imagined that Midnight Shine, the most timid and shy ponyin all of Equestria, could ever become so strong and ruthless. -What exactly did this stallion do to her...?- she thought. Celestia gasped, hearing the crunch. That had to break his snout pretty bad. Her ears flattened against her head. This was not the same kind hearted, loving Midnight she came to know and love.
