  1. @@Shadow Dancer, Calsor didn't look up. He knew of the star's beauty. "It is false. Like the prophets they lie. They give us a false sense of security on a planet which would otherwise have killed us were we not prepared for such situations. Their beauty blinds us... Still... That small speck of light. That, Spartan, is Sangheilios." Farehk said, pointing to the sky.
  2. @, Sven was scared. He didn't want to show it, but it was too great to hold back. This was the biggest and most important fight he had been in. His gun was rattling as he shook in fear. He turned to the machine gunner and spoke, at least he tried anyway. He stuttered "G-good l-l-luck..." The fight wasn't the first bit. It's like stage fright. The adrenaline building up to it is the worst, but once you are there it isn't so bad. This, of course, was still very bad in his eyes. He thought about his own words. 'The sooner you accept the fact that you are already dead, the sooner you can be the soldier Luna needs you to be'. He wasn't prepared to let his family go hungry and poor, and would be damned before he would let capitalism continue it's rule.

And that's not the correct spelling for route either.

  4. @, "Of course, Spartan. You give as good as you get, I suppose. Still, we formed an alliance, and now look at the amazing team we are. It was a Spartan and an Elite that brought down the covenant AND the threat of the flood. How could we have known that once our purpose was served we would be disposed of? The forerunners are not gods, they are galactic tyrants. Their failure in defeating the flood without martyrdom nearly caused the death of every sentient being in the galaxy." He placed the faceplate back on, and various small clicking sounds could be heard as his helmet configured itself to his vision and heads up display.
  5. @@Shadow Dancer, "The Spartans were the best line of defense against the Covenant, after all..." He took off his face plate, showing his eyes and face, and looked down at his hands. "All the human blood spilled my my hands... By my blade... And for what? To kill us all that's what... And yet of all the sins of killing the innocent just defending themselves I still live. Obviously to serve you eh Spartan?"
  6. @@Star Racer, "Each is entitled to their own opinion, however I must remove you of yours. Though the Sangheili race treats the male next to him as his brother, I have treated you as though you really were my brother. Even from spawn. Nobody dislikes you, and the humans should be grateful that we never truly believed that the forerunners were our gods, otherwise we would have glassed their entire colonies." Calsor allowed him to continue his rest, as he would need it for any further confrontation with the inhabiting species of this planet. "No offence to you, Spartan. I would have joined the Heretics, even if the war had continued."
  7. @@Star Racer, "If these beings are of feathered origin, then they should be simmilar to the Kig-yar or T'vaoan. That's Jackal and Skirmisher to you, Spartan. Frail bone strucktures due to hollow bones, but fast and agile. We may be firing much of our ammunition reserves just to hit them if this turns to a fight." Calsor threw the large bone left over, threads of meat still attached to it. He picked a few pieces from his teeth, and sat, perched against a tree. "I wonder of Sangheilios, of home. I have not seen it in years, and no doubt that Thel Vadam is aged to a weaker Arbiter. His wisdom, however, is ever increasing. What of you, Zamommie? What do you miss of home?"
  8. @@Star Racer, "I do not know, but if it got away, it will probably tell others of our presence. Either we stay, and try to communicate with whatever species it is. Or if worse comes to worse then we 'help them' to find 'peace'. Or we leave this area, cover our tracks, and begin to do some spying of our own." And with that said, he took a piece of the meat, placing it in front of his mandibles and ripping it to pieces with his multiple jaws. "Back in the times of the covenant, each meal was treated as our last, and thus, each meal was a glorious feast. Fit for a king, as you would say."
  9. @@Star Racer, Farehk watched the Spartan at work, and observed some rather random shots from within the trees. By the spacing in between where the shots landed it was obvious that Z was dizzy and disorientated. He chuckled, as the beast fell. As the Spartan dragged the Manticore he followed, pulling Z's blade from the tree and deactivating it. "Take better care of this next time, brother. It may mean your life." He said, giving it back to the wounded Sangheili.
  10. @@Star Racer, "You threw me a spare blade because you joined the fight HALFWAY THROUGH!" Calsor shouted, staring at the small glowing ball as it stuck to the beast's chest and exploded shortly after. Wooden chunks and splinters flew from the wolf that it once was and showered the area around it. Farehk placed a small bubble shield around them both, and timber remains bounced off of it. "A short, but fine battle. I counted six, and you?"
  11. @@Star Racer, "I always added bonus points because I got the better kills!" He shouted behind him as he grabbed the snout of one of the wolves and lifted it up. He stabbed it through the abdomen, and green fog and sap poured from the wound. "Hahaha! Just like back on Halo with the parasitic beings, the flood! They fall apart like a hammer to a lego house!"
  12. @@Star Racer, "Timber wolves... I like it. And like timber they shall fall! What are you waiting for!? Kill me! KILL ME!" He couldn't contain himself. He loved a good fight, and he loved a challenge. A strange planet with strange, seemingly invincible inhabitants? What more of a challenge could there be? And he was fighting along with his brother in combat. "Just remember brother, I will be keeping score!"
  13. @@Star Racer, "Well this is another fine mess you've gotten us into, brother..." Calsor said, activating his sword as other wolves exited the bushes. "A fine mess indeed! Hahaha!" He said. The idea of a great battle amused him. He enjoyed it. He fit the Sangheili stereotype perfectly.
  14. @@Star Racer, Calsor turned to his brother in combat, and stared at him, growling slightly. "Where did you get that? That was alive, and it is a wolf of some kind. Wolves hunt in packs, so whatever it is you just killed, there's more of them... And you've ticked them off..." He said, looking cautiously around and his hand on his energy sword.
  15. @@Shadow Dancer, Farehk saw the spartan eject from his pod and grab his weaponry. he headed over to him, his insane comrade following behind him. he approached the spartan, grabbing him and lifting him up up in a hug. "Hahaha! Good to see you made it, Spartan!" He put the Spartan down and laughed some more, until looking around and scoping his surroundings. "Why send us, this place looks so harmless... Somewhat magical..." He said. "It makes me uneasy..."
  16. @@Star Racer, "Are you fit for standing, brother? Very well." Calsor placed him down, handing his weapons to him. He regrouped with any other pods that may have landed in the vicinity. "Come, we must find the humans before something happens. They would not have sent their precious Spartans unless they knew this would turn to bantha fodder soon. There's something they aren't telling us..."
  17. @@Star Racer, Farehk launched. His pod was perfect, and familiar technology surrounded him. He was soon on the ground, firing off his door panel and jumping out. The world seemed, different... He noticed Z on the floor, out cold. Heading over to him, he placed his helmet on his head, took his weapons and attached them to his body anywhere he could, and lifted Zamommie onto his shoulder. "Rough landing, brother?" He said, laughing. In truth he was incredibly embarrassed by the fellow Sangheili making a fool of himself, sanity or no sanity.
  18. @@Star Racer, "Obviously you did not look hard enough! That eye playing you up again brother?" He joked, lightly tapping him on the arm. @@Shadow Dancer, He turned to the soldier, whom was checking over hid equipment. "Thank you spartan. I look forward to many honourable battles with you!" He said, saluting him in the Sangheili way. Right fist to left shoulder and a nod. He headed down the rows of pods to eventually find a few Sanghelios-made pods. He sat in it, and awaited orders.
  19. @@Star Racer, "Ah, yes, the Shadow of Intent. Never before had I felt such a left hook. Though I did get you back with that-... Ten earth minutes..." A grave look came over his face. "Have they installed any Sangheili drop pods on these predated boxes of metal they pass as 'ships'?" He always trusted the humans when the war turned, however he had no faith in their technology. Ships, pods, weapons, anything. He trusted his own equipment and his race's technology.
  20. @@Star Racer, "I understand your frustration, brother. But redemption is not needed. Had you pulled the trigger we would all be dead now. Every single sentient being in the galaxy. I am eager for battle too, Zamommie." He said. He took out his energy sword from his hip and etched a tally mark in his forearm armour. One of many, each for a different battle that he went in.
  21. Farehk Calsor'ee, or Calsor after the formal disbandment of the covenant by the hands of the Master Chief and the Arbiter, was thoroughly displeased by the human pilot's lack of discipline. "We are late. The commander of this mission will not be pleased by this." He said to the pilot. The pelican lowered into the hangar and the back doors opened, allowing for him to jump out, his plasma repeater shuddering as he landed. He instantly caught sight of the other elite in the group, albeit standing high above them. @@Star Racer, "Ah, Zamommie, my brother. it is good to see you. I was not informed of your participation in this mission, and the others are humans with their strange names... Any news on our objectives?"
  22. Sven pulled back the bolt system on his rifle, and an unfired bullet popped out of the side. He caught this bullet, spinning in a few times before placing it back in the side and closing the mechanism. "I can pretty much guarantee that at least one of us isn't coming back from this..." he said, taking the cigarette offered by his fellow soldier and lighting it with one of his storm matches. Sven finished his cigarette as they began to move, putting it out and throwing it to the ground. He got himself in a somewhat redied stance and prepped his rifle. "Just like the Fallschirmjäger... Drop in ready for combat, or die getting ready during..."
  23. @@Alicorn Fluttershy, Sun simply grunted from the corner of the table. "Eat our food and hope this Anala gal has a bad time in prison. She can dish out a prank, but she certainly can't take one... I suppose I had better get down to the station, I'll need to fill out a report on what happened..." He smirked at the thought of seeing her behind bars. She was a spoilt brat who took advantage of people whilst expecting them to worship her like a goddess.
  24. Sun sat up and held up his coffee. "I'm ok for now, take everypony's order at this table and put it on my tab. I'm buyin'." And with that he looked around with a raised an eyebrow. "Go ahead everypony. Order what you like." Then he sat back down again and took another casual sip of coffee.
  25. Sun just sat there sipping his coffee. He didn't stand up, he didn't look, he didn't even change a bit. All the commotion and everypony else was standing, looking or helping. Helping was ok, but not too many ponies otherwise you got in their way. Standing and staring in silence just made the matter worse, you made them feel even more embarrassed to know that everypony saw you fall. So if somepony was helping, just continue about your business.
