@@C. Thunder Dash, "Okay sounds good, I guess I'll see you then.", Silver said as he searched around his new home, trying to get better acquainted with the place. "I remember reading an ad about ponyvilles parties, if I stick around long enough than maybe I can see what that brochure was all about.".

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver shrugged and stepped into the modest home, "Well, its nicer than the prison cell. If you have a second, can you tell me about the bakers I will be working with, or are you saving that for a surprise?" Silver didn't know why but he had a feeling these were no ordinary bakers.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Smiling and nodding Silver Tongue thought to himself, "Well that escalated quickly. And we were getting along so well, then he goes back to being all cloak and dagger. Watching me sleep, okay theres nothing wrong with that. It's times like this that make me wonder if Thunder is really just a crazed fan, that hired some ponies to dress in royal guard outfits and play along. Of course I don't actually believe that, but the point still stands.".

@@C. Thunder Dash, "Copy that warden." Silver Tongue jokingly replied with a solute. On his way to his new residence Silver Tongues mind began to wander, "I wonder if the nickname 'warden' will catch on. I guess it would be something to remember me by, but it probably won't considering I'm the only one that sees him as a warden. Well you never know with these things.".

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver Tongue decided to rest atop the tallest hill in the orchard, giving him a clear view of said orchard. "I wonder what's in that cellar, probably that famous cider i've heard about." Silver Tongue said out loud to no one in particular, and shrugged. "Alcohol isn't really my style anymore.". (OOC: there isn't much ground left to cover and we still have 5 more days to cover it. Skipping would be a good idea.).

@@C. Thunder Dash, "Ya, now seems like a good time.", Silver Tongue replied casually, as he stopped preparing for his next jump. "So is there like, an employe lounge or is anywhere sufficient?", Silver Tongue asked, as he imagined a grand throneroom that would put caletia to shame.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver Tongue took note of the look and thought to himself, "Yep I still got it.", Silver Tongue failed to stifle a chuckle at his little joke. "I might take these ideas on the road when I pay my debt to society. I could be like a honest version of the flim flam brothers, maybe even their successors. I bet I could make a better version of the 'Super Cider Squeezy 6000' and sell it to farmers that prefer to automate things.". Silver Tongue thought he could make a better name for salles ponies and set a good example for others looking to go into it.

@@C. Thunder Dash, "I don't think Applejack has a slingshot that large lying around, but I like where we are going with this. How about, we some how shake the ground nearby the trees enough for the apples to fall?", Silver Tongue added to the ever changing list of ideas. "That slingshot idea isn't half bad, might have to save that one for another time.".

@@C. Thunder Dash, "There, you told me how it would go wrong, that's constructive criticism, if I could see more of that then that would be nice.", Silver Tongue took a moment to recall all of the criticism he had gotten, "Well... never mind, you're good on that front.". Silver Tongue thought it would be a good time to change to subject, "I must agree that this was a nice change. Breaking the bonds of tradition to pave the way to innovation.". It seemed Silver Tongue completely missed the point of the last statement.

@@C. Thunder Dash, "I think I might take you up on that offer.", Silver Tongue replied. With the thrill of his previous success running out, Silver Tongue thought it would be a good time to take a break. "Perhaps I can think of ways to improve my method... If Applejack would let me get a wheelbarrow and a long stick I could zoom down the hill, whacking the tree trunks with the stick on the way down. And here I was thinking I couldn't top my method.", Silver Tongue thought to himself, after all he was never one to quit while he was ahead.

@@C. Thunder Dash, The idea stuck Silver Tongue like a bolt of lightning, a smile grew on his face as he got ready to buck again, but this time he faced the what looked like the tree he was going for. Silver Tongue leaped backwards in the direction of a tree on the bass of the hill in a bucking position, and landed his hind legs on a high point of the trees trunk. The combination of gravity and his full body weight created enough force to shake all of the apples off of the tree. falling to the ground with a thud Silver Tongue let out a cheer before speaking, "Right, who's going to get the trees that I can't?". Silver Tongues continued to cheer in his head, "This is great I can repeat this for all the trees near hills, or just on a downward slope, and Applejack can get the ones on top of the hills or that are just too far away from sad hills. Of course this would be a lot faster with a wheelbarrow and a long stick. Oh well make do and what not.".

Thunder Dash, "Fine I'll try, maybe if I'm lucky I'll get a apple out of these trees.", Silver Tongue trotted up to an apple tree resting atop a steep hill, and bucked it as hard as he could, only to be greeted by a few falling leaves. Unsurprised Silver Tongue looked from his elevated location, "I don't know what he expects of me. Maybe a burst of richus motivation, and determination...", Silver Tongues eyes widened. Inspiration was just around the corner, he just knew it. He stared intently on the apple trees, he could practically hear the gears turning in his head...

@@C. Thunder Dash, "Applejack doesn't trust me with a stick, so thats half of my plan down... Wow I just realized she doesn't trust me with a stick, ponies only joke about that, but here I am.", Silver Tongue pondered on past mistakes, ​"I should have gotten that gym membership. I knew that would be a day like today, and I would be ready, but I just kept putting it off, and now here I am exhausted and ready to pass out.".

@@C. Thunder Dash, "Correction, what I was doing was doing was physically helping. Normally I can't buck a single apple off that tree. That adrenalin rush was just to buy some time for me to think of something else, and I am not doing it again. Either find something else for me to do, find a way to double my muscle mass, or get me a wheelbarrow, and a long stick.", Silver Tongue lightheartedly replied.

@@C. Thunder Dash, "Thats good and all but how can I make it up to the community if I can't physically help? Seams a bit inefficient if you ask me.", Silver Tongue was taught from the start that there is no problem a sharp and creative mind can't solve. "This job isn't for everyone, and unfortunately I fall in the 'everyone' category.", "Let me be honest with you, I have been trying to avoid the big picture, because I know the questions that come with it can very well leave me emotionally crippled, and an emotionally crippled worker is not a productive worker.". Silver Tongue explained.

@@C. Thunder Dash, With a light chuckle Silver Tongue spoke, "Thats fine with me, I'm dizzy enough as it is." Silver Tongue finally let his adrenalin rush die down, "Right, not using that again. Hmmmm... maybe if I got a parachute then I... No that would destroy the tree.", "You got any ideas Thunder Dash?", Silver Tongue asked asif at a meeting among co-workers.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Eventually Silver Tongue forgot why he was looping the song in his head, and the flow of thoughts continue, "I won't be forced into someone elses way of thinking. If Applejack wants me to stop thinking of her as the one holding me back, then she has to prove to me that shes not otherwise, I will think what I want.". Every part of his body was begging him to stop and rest, but he couldn't, not now anyway. "When is the first break? How long have we been bucking apples anyway? If only I could check my internal clock, but I can't reach that far into my subconscious, because of all these distractions.".

@@C. Thunder Dash, (OOC: Silver Tongue never stopped working he just likes to talk as he does.) Silver Tongue stopped in the middle of his next buck, "When have I ever talked behind any pony's back? How do I even prove that I wasn't?". She had struck a huge nerve, he seemed to physically shy away from her stare, but Silver Tongue tried to stay calm, "Fine, fine, I'm not here to think anyways.". "Who am I kidding, the real reason I hate that stare is because it's-", the thought was immediately cut off by a looping song in his mind.

@@C. Thunder Dash, Silver Tongue noted Applejacks stare, with every new tree the gap between to two grew, slowly, very slowly. "This is bad. dear celestia let her be the type to overlook details, at least if I collapse I'll have some time to get back up befor it was considered a problem, maybe I can slack a bit so that won't happen. If I could find a way for her to calm down... I... No stay on track. What was I doing?". Shaking his head lightly he spoke "You gonna staring like you're better than me or can we grow up and focus on work?". Silver Tongue didn't care anymore, ​"If you don't want me on your farm, now is your chance to pass your ritchus judgment on me. I am sick of Applejack putting me down every time I try to help anyway, but I guess my help isn't good enough, maybe the next person I try to help will at least tolerate it.".

@@C. Thunder Dash, ​"Hmmm... maybe if I pester her enough she'll just say screw it and I'll get out of farm work in exchange for something less strenuous. That would hardly be sporting so I guess I won't do that. It's really amazing how ponies persecute others just for their knowledge and abilities, I think I heard about a zebra dealing with a similar situation. Sure I did use them for negative purposes, but I had my back to the wall, using it here would just be lazy.". Silver Tongue vision and hearing was starting to fade out of focus as the adrenalin was finally taking it's toll. ​"Besides I can't in this state.". Everything went black and white for Silver Tongue, "Come on she's already fed up, If I stop now than Thunder Dash is gonna make this job much worse.".

Thunder Dash, "She talked to me, then told me to get back to work asif I started the conversation, even then kicking a tree doesn't exactly take all you're concentration, oh well I'm not one to talk about avoiding half baked logic. Hmmm if a convict notorious for swindling and using adrenalin for the smallest of tasks, were to try to convince me that he had a better method for my job I probably won't trust him either. I guess that hindsight for ya.", Silver Tongue thought to himself, then spoke up at the same time as bucking, "Hey Applejack, you think I would be better off as a sails pony, or are you afraid I'll exaggerate about you're apples, or steal something?". (OOC: the first sting of dialogue was supposed to be in 'italic' but it bugged out and changed it to regular text after I typed it all out.)

@@C. Thunder Dash, "I guess Applejack knows he can read minds, I was half expecting Applejack to look at him like he was crazy. That would have been pretty funny, for him to try to explain that.". Silver Tongue let out a light chuckle at the thought and tried to continue bucking trees as best he could. "Don't worry warden, Applejack won't let the nasty criminal try anything funny.". "Geez everyones so touchy today. Its almost like everyone forgot how to laugh, and said screw it were gonna be on a hire trigger today.".
