I'm thinking of making a remix to submit to: http://mlpforums.com/topic/89987-remixcover-contest-anyone-else-in/ I want to take lyrics from the original song, to add to my own. Problem is, I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to do so. Preferably with Audacity. Wondering if anypony had a link, or tips/instructions on how do to this! Thanks in advance :3

I'm only 16, but I've got spare time to job search over this March Break. So saving money for this kinda stuff will be a top priority on my list Anyone got sites/store references as to where they bought their equipment?

People like you, make me love this place! Thanks for the info, I'll definitely keep this all in mind, especially a decent mic to start off with c: I have a bass-baritone voice, high notes aren't my thing at all. So I guess knowing my limits is a start.

I'm very new here, but I've been glued to my computer ever since I joined. I have a burning passion to join the masses of talented artists here, especially the singers. The only problem is that I lack the professional equipment to put my voice out there for people to hear :c If anyone has any tips of any sort for a starting point, or even where you started, they would be much appreciated! Even a small start is better than no start at all.

I could definitely try for the lower keys, but there's so many more aspects to this song than just that! I'll give it a go, and if anyone's ears like what they hears, gimme a shout! Finding all the lyrics and the longest version's on the song possible, maybe even the episode! Expect to hear something before too long! I'm sitting here worrying my ass off about how I'm gunna find the time to do this! Then I realize that there's about a month until the submission date, and a good week of that will be spent on March Break! As short as it may be, I love March Break.

I've always loved FL Studio, and from what I've learned throughout my experience, you're doing a great job! Keep doing what you're doing! With making music with programs like FL Studio, most if it is always trial and error, so keep in mind to 'Try, Try Again' and don't be afraid to recycle ideas.
