My advice would be don't tell anyone unless you feel particularly compelled to. Not out of fear, but just practicality. Some people just don't need to know. It's like how I wouldn't go around saying to someone who was just a business acquaintance or a sort-of friend but not that close of a friend, "I love Michigan football".

Or some other like of mine. There's just no need to. So maybe some of your closer friends you can tell IF it ever comes up in conversation (i.e. "seen any good shows lately?, etc."), and maybe family if you want to, but don't make a big deal out of it, cause ultimately it's just a show we like to watch.
