Thank you! Yeah, it was quite a neat area. The flood scars and potholes on the landscape were pretty evident.

It looks like either Colorado, Wyoming, or eastern Washington. 

Hey this is cool! I'm from Washington and have been up in the mountains several times. In fact, I'm up in them right now. I've been around the Mt. Rainier National Park area a lot, but not as much around Mt. Adams. I have hiked to the very top of Mt. Adams, though.

Awesome! I'm jelly. Right now I am in Oklahoma for college, so I have 3 more weeks before I get back to the PNW.

You've climbed Mt. Adams?! That is really awesome! Someday I plan on climbing it too. Adams has always been my favorite mountain to hike around, but I've done quite a lot of Rainier hikes too. Mt. Rainier is so amazing. Even though I am an Oregonian, being from Portland, I always prefer hiking in Washington.

This summer I'm hoping to go on 8-9 backpacking trips, 6-7 of them in Washington.
