  1. Because, why not? Other poets and writers are encouraged to post here too. I hope you enjoy my creations! Poem one, musings. "Musings of madmen, fall upon deaf ears Free me from this prison, liberate me from this fear The artist, the joker, the despondent smoker The cold world shakes, seas of infinite madness shimmer Exiled from society, disharmonious duality Falling through the seams, fade into obscurity Masked from the truth, bathe in familiarity Insight, I see the other side Crawling, screaming, writhing, intellectual genocide As we hold on to the tatters of our broken pride."

      ...Cool morning haze envelops

      Coffee stains, up for days

Reality is a subject, which has alluded me always

      Awareness, of the approaching harvest

      Time slips through slender hands

Into the cradle of of life and death, we do fall

The holy and unholy, the cycle, the endless

Over too soon, fading away, fall into the clutches of another day.

  3. Writing poems, and such!

  4. I have a deeply passionate love of thunderstorms. Nothing feels better than sitting outside during a thunderstorm, feeling the rain beat down on me, feeling the electricity in the air, seeing the darkness shift in the troubled clouds, gazing upon the beautiful flashes lightning; and hearing the crash of thunder - gives me a sense of complete and utter awe!
  5. Indeed. I suspect that Pinkie Pie is representative of the more youthful sides of our personalities, so naturally, we're drawn to the energy (and she has alot of it!) that she gives off. Reminds me of a phase within my own life, too. I was very much like Pinkie when I was 16.
  6. Geekdom in general seems to be going in more of a "spend spend spend" direction than being a collective of like minded individuals. Companies are using us as a way to generate profit, rather than caring about the fans themselves.
  7. Pinkie Pie has a wonderfully entertaining personality, she's adorable, and she's pink. What more could you ask for?
  8. I personally do not find the ponies sexually attractive, however I have a live and let live attitude, and I see no point in judging people over their quirks.
  9. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie How did you find MLP Forums?: Google, of course. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Back in early 2011, saw it on one of my friends Facebook walls, wondered what it was about, asked him, he sent me an episode and the rest is history Why, hello there. I am Count Spooky, but you may just call me spooky. I'm a 20 year old male who primarily spends his time watching MLP, reading H.P Lovecraft, writing poetry and listening to various bands which would make this post lengthy if I were to elaborate upon them... But I digress. Having been part of this fandom a long time, I've taken several breaks; and recently I have started getting into the show again, so I decided I might as well meet some new people while doing so. I have a tendency to be very bookish and my favourite genre has to be horror or romantic tragedy; I have recently developed a fascination with 18th, 19th and 20th century horror writers. I enjoy MLP alot; the first and second seasons are my favourite, and episode wise, I have trouble choosing a favourite. My favourite ponies have to be Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. Fluttershy is probably the closest to my heart because Dragonshy was the first episode I saw. Pinkie represents the hyperactive, colourful and rather silly side of myself which contrasts with my interest with the dark, mystical and macabre! Who says guys who dress in black can't like cute ponies? Anyway, I'm happy to be here and meet you. Have a nice day and blessed be! -CountSp00ky
