Gatekeeper Giggle

I shudder to even contemplate the constant parade of horror YouTube comments have to offer. Iv'e seen no change either with or without Google plus, because honestly, is anyone going to notice a few more or less evils in the unrelenting maelstrom of filth that is the YouTube comments section?

Well, I posted my character introduction! I'm a bit new to all this, as you can probably tell by the delicious muffin under my avatar, so any criticism would be greatly appreciated!

Rhythmic Rhapsodist's train shuddered to a halt as it reached its final destination: Canterlot. He slowly stepped off the train and took in his surroundings. The spires of Canterlot towered over him, and beyond those the deep blue sky of Equesrtia loomed overhead. It was exactly like he remembered it. He sat down on a nearby bench to watch the train rumble off to its next destination. After the train had been gone for a few minutes he adjusted the lute case on his back and got up from the bench. "Now we can begin" he muttered under his breath as he headed deeper into Canterlot. He shuffled his way through the hustle and bustle of morning Cantterlot, eager to get to his destination. Eventually he made it: his old house in upper Canterlot. It was weather beaten and dilapidated thanks to years of neglect, but even in such a state its majesty was undeniable. He fished his key out of his vest and unlocked the door, slowly making his way inside. The stench of decay hit him full in the face, but he didn't seem to mind as he made his way up the creaky steps to his old bedroom.

I agree that it would be completely inappropriate to have my character ride into battle mounted on Discord frying the pathetic mortal ponies with lightning while his massive army of chaotic T-Rex ninjas slaughtered the pitiful remnants of whatever resistance was left. Rest assured that the very last place my character wants to be is in open battle. He's a behind the scenes kind of pony, and he knows and plans for this. For him, combat is the nuclear option, and he'll always try to talk his way out of fighting. Anyway, now that we've got that unpleasantness over with, is it ok if I post my character introduction? I can't wait to start!

Ah, I remember this one like it was yesterday. It was my very first attempt at building a city. The city came fully equipped with libraries, apartment houses, villager housing, gardens, armories, mansions, and an evil fascist dictatorship. I would show you a better picture, but the save file is long gone. This was a fortress I built for a paladin lord. I was really proud of it until I learned that quartz has all the blast resistance of wet tissue paper. Now this is a fortress! It delves deep into the mountain, and is protected by an army of soldiers. That white shrine beside it is dedicated to Celestia, by the way. No, that tree isn't sprouting out of thin air, thanks to my poor photography skills it just looks that way. A fortress-city I recently built. This one is fairly big; most of it isn't pictured here. It has an extensive sewer system running under it, for no reason other than I was bored. I think I'll let this one speak for it's self.
