I didn't know if anyone else knew this, but you can quote something some one said, delete whatever they typed, write whatever you want, and it'll still show them as the ones saying it! While in the past I have only used this exploit for minor hijinks, I can see someone not as good natured as I using this feature to do serious harm to others around the site. Although the original post will be the same, most people don't have the time to go looking through potentially thousands of posts to see the original post, and they'll be tricked into believing the false post. Don't believe me? As proof I'll misquote anything anyone says in this topic. You have been warned.

Well, it may not be able to compare to a bomb threat, but this was pretty crazy. One day someone decided to bring a bunch of tiny plastic balls to school, and they scattered them throughout the school. They got everywhere, and people were slipping and falling down everywhere! It was hilarious! Well at least it was until someone got hurt, then it stopped being funny. No one ever figured out exactly who did it, and to this day there's probably still some of those little plastic balls hidden away is some corner where the janitor can't reach them. -
You've literally just stated all the reasons why Luna can't win! Also, I saw nothing about dragonrend in that post. All you did was tell us how awesome Alduin is! Are you trying to sabotage your own argument? I guess that'll have to do for now. Anyway, I'm off to bed.

In the actual game itself or in the lore? In the lore, Alduin was utterly invincible until he was hit with dragonrend. since we're bringing the wiki into this, allow me to quote from it: "It is said that only a Dovahkiin can defeat the enraged god Alduin by harnessing the power of the dragon in the form of dragon shouts to ultimately destroy him in one final battle of titanic proportions, restoring peace to the land of Skyrim and Tamriel at large." The specific shout they are referring to is of course dragonrend. In the game, It just makes dragons land on the ground, so I can see why you would be confused.

Yep. Without Dragonrend, Luna's toast.

Alduin is pretty much invincible. Even though I agree that Luna is more agile in flight, all that speed goes for naught when none of your blows can even hurt your opponent. The only reason the dragonborn was able to defeat Alduin was because of dragonrend. An ability which Luna does not possess.

I'm not arguing this with you in a Alduin vs Luna topic, but let's just say for now that I politely disagree.

As Discord once said: "That's a bit harsh." While Luna is very powerful, (And I totally think she could smear Slenderman all over the walls, but that's an argument for another time) Alduin is on another realm of strength entirely. The only conceivable way she could win is if she snuck into alduin's dreams and killed him there, but that's assuming that she's even able to do that. Luna's one of my favorite characters, but at her current power level, she's no match for Alduin. But I admire your moxie for fighting the good fight! You underestimate Alduin. Remember when Twilight slammed a large rock on top of Tirek, but it barely scratched him? When gods battle Physics goes right out the window.

Yes, that did happen to them, but that's because they used it wrong. When the Chimer invaded the dwemer working on the heart panicked and made a mistake when using it. If you use it right, like Talos did, it turns you into a god no questions asked.

To get back on topic, since you didn't specify a period of time where Luna would come to Nirn, allow me to propose a scenario: Suppose Luna stole the heart of Lorkhan from the Dwemer and figured out how to use it to make herself into a proper god like Talos did. While this scenario of events is very unlikely, what if it did happen? Would the massive increase in power be enough to let her defeat Alduin?

Why not? Because she just didn't think of it, that's why! I am utterly convinced she thought she could take on Equestria's finest with an army of teenagers. As you said, -
While I agree that she could transform them all into demons, there was no indication that she was going to that. Besides, wouldn't making that many demons drain her powers? That's how Morgoth lost his first battle for middle earth, after all. I also have seen no evidence to prove that Principle Celestia and Luna have any alicorn power at all. They aren't even very good principles!

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. I just don't see her overpowering three alicorns bolstered by an ultra powerful relic, ( Sombra was utterly disintegrated, as far as I know Discord has never entered the empire, and Tirek... well, you've got me there) backed by an entire army that is bigger and better then hers, and aided by 5 of the six elements of harmony. And just say "army of mind controlled high school students" out loud. I don't think there's a way you can't make that not sound utterly ridiculous.

I hate to disagree, but Evil Dragon Master is right. Alduin is destined to bring about the end of the world, and he can't be defeated until that happens. Even when the dragonborn defeated him, it was said that he would eventually come back to life, which is why you couldn't steal his soul. In the very unlikely event that Luna did manage to defeat Alduin, he would just rise again.

Wow, your terminology is really different from mine! I've never even heard of the word lich refer to that before! Back in ancient times I would have been forced to brutally murder you, resurrect you as an intelligent Undead under my control, and then order you to tell everyone you now agreed with my terminology; or else I'd lose all respect in the eyes of my fellow necromancers. I'm glad that nowadays we can simply agree to disagree. -
Does the stare work on undead? If so, I'm doomed. If not, I now own an awesome new pet!
