He'll probably get more next season.

Kinda hard, if his only episode this season, was one of the worst recepted episodes this season.

Maybe the writers will give up on him and leave him as a side character, who knows.

I was going through the list again and had to realize, there is no more Spike episode this season.

It makes perfect sense. Doing something like this would be a sign that the show creators care less about the integrity of their content and more about just milking bronies for money if they decide to change their initial plans to appease them. I said this once before: a good company does not "give people what they want" it tells them what they want. If they can not convince bronies to like Alicorn Twilight, they clearly are not doing it right. Hasbro instead of giving up and just going back and going "okay pretend that never happened!" should try harder to make Alicorn Twilight a more likable character if so many people dislike her. Me personally, I don't have an issue with her.

Exactly. Believe me, while i like Twilight, i would rather see the idea of Alicorn Twilight crash and burn till the end of the series, instead of the writers doing a big cop out, that could rival the dream season of Dallas. If they keep everything as it is, they can atleast say they tried. With the cop out, they have nothing and they know that.

I really don't think this will happen but if for some stupid reason it did, this would be enough for me to say "I'm out!" Like, awesome, two entire seasons, down the drain. Advancement completely destroyed.

 

This has been my biggest fear since season 3 and I really, REALLY hope this is not what they are planning, but I highly doubt it.

Call me whiny guys, but i am with Kyoshi here. To me, this would prove that the writing staff can't handle the pressure.

Not at all. That this show has a few memes in it for laughs (being good or bad is a matter of preference, because nothing is more subjective then comedy) is just a sign of the times. The original series and Tales had alot of 80s popculture jokes in it and if we look back at some of the other cartoon shows of that time, it really wasn't any different in that depature.

If you want to go into a fantasy world, that is free of all that stuff, read the Fantasy stuff from J.R.R Tolkien or Lloyd Alexander.

Hello, i am here for the job interview of being the new mascot of the Frosties, after Tony the Tigers tragic passing.

the others have had their faults, but unlike Twi, were willing, or are still in the process of working on those negative traits-which was what got the other into thosr "haven't been punished for" situations, in the first place. Twilght is the only one who isn't.

Her character, even beyond that, is weak and irritating, with her choosing not to do things on her own, and sit around moping all day. Not worthy of being a princess.

The others still don't get punished.

Also, haven't you watched "Amending fences?" Didn't she apologize to Moon Dancer, for not showing up to the party?

If you ask me, that looks like Twilight is willing to learn from her mistakes.

And before this is going more off-topic, i leave this thread.

This will not happen. MLP is not the show to do this kinda stuff. It's a family show after all.

I'll give you that she's cute because she can be....at times. But those other qualities are far overshadowed by her negative ones, I think. I could maybe cut her slack on the bad qualities IF she did some self evaluation and tried to overcome those negative aspects, but she's NOT. She's a prtty bad character, as things stand now, and have been. Like the rule "with great power comes greater responsibility" doesn't apply to her.

We could play the "she never has been punished for her actions" card on all the others.

Did Pinkie get punished for her actions in "too many pinkie pies?" DId Rainbow Dash get punished for her actions in "Tanks for the memories?" Did Applejack get punished for her actions in "Applebuck season?" etc.

Maybe we shouldn't like any of them, by that logic.

She is nerdy, looks cute and she has a big heart. Everybody has some bad qualities, but we should concentrate on both.

I think i am gonna get a heartattack from all that cuteness.

My inner disney fan speaks here and most of the time, the villain song in the movies, was almost always a joy to watch. I got the same vibe from it with this one.

I am not as hyped as most people about the movie. But i don't wanna look like a douche, that says it's the worst thing ever, without having seen it. I keep an open mind to it.

I guess the episode was...okay. Nothing spectacular or bad or anything, it was just...there.

I liked some of the references that are linked to new york, like midnight cowboy, or my fair lady and it's nice to see Coco again.

The rest of the episode with the theater play felt like filler for me to be honest and i felt bored most of the time.

Seriously though, it kinda has something to do, what kind of person and kind of gamer you are. The classic PC gamer is somebody who likes to mod and likes to have all these configurations, while the console gamer just dosen't care about that and just wants to sit back and play the game.

While Steam made PC gaming a bit comfortable and i enjoy games on steam, i would still stick with Consoles. Right now, i am thinking about buying a Wii U.
