  1. OK, so Nure Redheart had a scene in season 2 as well. We didn't see here since then, even that rainbow Dash episode that heavily featured a hospital.

Yeah! We need more of every Nurse backround pony.

Nurse Coldheart was in that episode, but I think she should appear more often too. She's simply beautiful.

    20140713211320!Nurse_Snowheart_ID_S2E16.

And then we've also got Sweetheart whom I ADORE, look at her slightly chubbier form! ADORABLE!

    Nurse_Sweetheart_ID_S2E16.png

Look at her, loook! I've said it and I'll say it again, I love background ponies. I'll never get enough of them.

Both of these two Nurse ponies have got a more rare design, which I absolutely love.

  2. My mother has been really mean to me many times, she's told me a lot of things that she should never have to her daughter. But she means well most of the time, even if she expresses it all the wrong way. She has done a lot to hurt me, but I still love her. She's been a great mom, despite all her flaws and bad moments she made me go through. She's been singing lullabies for me, played with me, cooked me food, cleaned me up whenever I was sick, taken care of me, bought me pretty clothes, always protected me with her life. I love her to no end.

Dad is great, even though he drinks every night and didn't really take responsibility over me and my sister when we were younger. He always worked, were away, did something else. He's always been someone I can go to when I need to relax, especially when I need a pause from my mother's hectic behaviour. He's always been calm, understanding and a security of mine. I love him to no end as well.

We've all got our flaws, but as one of my favorite songs says:

  3. This is pretty good, great job :)

Why, thank you! :D The online gif maker kind of pissed me off, it didn't work quite as I wanted it to, but it at least made a gif out of it.

  4. Sooo, I admit this is pretty crappy but it's the first desktop pony I've made eveeeer... I used the from over the legs and up base from: http://paintapastime.deviantart.com/ Veeery talented person with the sprites!

I'm thinking of doing a trotting version too, but that'll take a lot of time so I'll wait with that one... xD

I drew all of this in MSpaint, since that's the best program for pixel art that I have access to.

Animated in on some random website I found on Google.

Tell me what you think! <3  :D

  5. Scootaloo is my favorite CMC by far!

    There are many reasons why I love her;

1st off, her color scheme is GORGEOUS. I love me some neatly matched colors on a pony.

2nd, She's VERY "tomboy"ish and I absolutely love that personal trait of hers, it's showing off very strongly too, compared to Rainbow Dash, who has nothing against wearing a dress. Scootaloo basically gets grossed out wearing one.

3rd, I feel her struggle of not being able to fly SO much. I've always wanted to fly with wings too, despite living in this realistic world without other flying humans, I can only imagine her frustration of not being able to fly. Also, that ADORABLE scene when Scootaloo realizes she's still dreaming in Apple Bloom's dream episode with Luna, season 5... And she immediately makes herself able to fly. ADORABLE and heartbreaking.

4th, she basically cosplays. Which is AWESOME. Any other pony who have even gotten near cosplaying so far? Nope, only Scootaloo and her Rainbow Dash fanclub members. She knows how it's done, she even got herself proper Rainbow wigs somehow(Scootaloo, how many hair straws did you pick from Rainbow Dash while she was sleeping??). Also, she's a real fangirl. She fangirls Rainbow Dash as much as many of us bronies do, it's very likely to be an accurate description of how many bronies feel about RD, right?? YEP. She's awesome, that way. A cosplayer and a legit fangirl of another pony that many of us like too.

5th, her relationship with Rainbow Dash constantly makes me cry happy tears. It's simply TOO CUTE.

How could I not love the cute little tomboy filly after all of these reasons stated above? It's impossible.

    I love her.

  6. It's understandable that the Crew Universe is taking a break now, they have constantly worked on weekly upcoming episodes for two years, I'm more than surprised that they have kept up so neatly for so long and so far. They're truly an amazing crew, and I'm looking forward to seeing many more episodes from them after the hiatus. I sure am going to miss my favorite show while they're cooling down, but let's entertain ourselves and each other with what we've got so far out of this wonderful show.. And it will be back in no time! <33

    Believe in Steven!

  7. I've been hit on by several creepy guys.

Some, even on this forum but let's not mention anypony's name 'cause that would only be rude.

However, I have this one time I remember specifically. I was at my first anime convention and I had dressed myself up with a pretty, white dress and I had a lot of fun with my friends at the time.. I really enjoyed myself at my first con!

Then, one of my friends got this "great idea" to put a "Free Hugs" sign on me since we had a lot of people doing the same thing, getting a lot of hugs from nice people who walked past them. They sort of wanted me to open up a bit, since I was not used to the con's environment and how affectionate people were acting towards each other. Let's say that I still had my little personal bubble activated around me at that point...

Anyway, so I walked around with that sign around my neck and people gently hugged me and some were more excited about the hug, etc, etc. It was a very sweet experience at first, 'cause I mean, hugs never hurt. So, it was getting late and dark outside, I still had the sign hanging around my neck and we were getting some juice in a stand, outside, but still inside the Con area... When suddenly an older man walked up to me. I had still some getting used to how people acted around me, but he pecked me on the shoulder and I turned around. He was SO much taller and bigger than me and definitely older. I was 14 years old at the time and he must have been at least 20-24 years old.

He then leaned closer, looked at my sign and whispered "Do you hand out free kisses as well?". I was SO shocked, I couldn't respond. I had never even thought about kissing anyone before, I had absolutely never kissed anyone before and I definitely didn't want to kiss him of all people. He was a stranger to me, he was much older and it was dark outside, I got the chills. My mind and body basically screamed "NO", but I couldn't say anything, I had no idea what to say if I had opened my mouth. So, he leaned in even closer, closer and closer to my lips. I just stood there, shaking and my mind was just blank. He was SO close to his lips touching mine, when he finally leaned back again, straightened up and said. "If you don't want to, then of course I won't force you".

I still had nothing to say, but I finally got something out of me, "Um, I.. No... Thanks. Uh..", I stuttered a LOT saying it, and I don't remember exactly what I responded, but I remember that I barely could speak for myself that moment. I was very relieved that he had that kind of respect for me but I was still shocked and very shaky. My body wouldn't stop shaking after that and I'll never forget that moment. I'm very happy that he never kissed me, I'm thankful for that, but I remember the smell and warmth of his breath so close to my face, it is never anything I enjoy looking back at.

    _______________________________________________________

I've also experienced a lot of talking on buses and on the street. Like, "Here comes the cookie", or "Can I see your tits?". I've also experienced that people tell me and my friend to "KISS ALREADY" and all that kind of stuff.

I also remember once when I was at a family party and this one guy in the same age as me if not about 2 years younger, started hitting on me. He was about 15 years old while I was 17. He didn't look too bad, but he was very rude to me. To pick an example, these are a few things he said to me: "Nice tits. They're kinda small though, and you said you were 17 years old??" and "I live in the house next to where you're going to be staying. If you want to, you can come over at midnight. We could have some sex.". I could never tell if he was joking or not, but I was never very flattered by his 'compliments'.

Luckily, I still live in a very peaceful and polite country, so these things are pretty neutral. It was still creepy to go through though.

  8. I absolutely love this pony that appeared and got to be voiced in the "Tanks for the Memories" episode that got released this week-end. Anyone else that thought she was ADORABLE?

I'll draw plenty of fanart of this cutie for sure.

It's so nice to see the faces of ya'll. You're all equally cute, pretty and handsome! It's nice to see the people on the other side of the screen, it makes the entire forum feel more "alive".

  10. A. One of his group's rules is that anyone caught tracing can be banned from his group. Yet he does it while forbidding his members from doing the same.

    B. Claims his mod team never censored comments which his client sites but there is plenty of evidence that he is lying in his apology.

    C. He claims Adapting to Night is completely original only to reveal that many of the characters from the comics were directly traced from a similar vector on the show.

    D. Considering he was caught lying previously, it's very likely his claim that all of his art shown at cons was completely original is also false too.

There is a reason many artists and vendors in the community despise him, and it's not out simple jealousy for his financial wealth from the art he made but because he was suspected as a thief, and now he's caught as one too among his brutish tactics at coercing possible commissioners away from his competitors table and towards his own instead among other things.

First off, I'm not trying to pick a fight or annoy anyone with this, I'm just trying to understand the artist and that's why I'm questioning all of these points. I hope I don't come off as annoying, I'll try to be understanding on both parts in this, I'm very aware of how naive I am at times.

Part A is very wrong of him to have as a rule since he's doing it himself, that's a dick-move for sure. Are you certain he didn't mean tracing his personal art, though? Or was it just tracing in general??

How will we know he's lying in his apology if we don't give him another chance to 'redeem' himself after this big reveal and bomb of emotion among the fandom? I always believe that people can get better after doing something that is considered to be wrong.

Well, my only assumption there is that he must get his poses from somewhere. I know that from being an artist myself, I often look at vectors and draw after them whenever I can't get it quite right on my own. We all have art blocks now and again and if you've promised plenty of fans to release comic strips on a regular basis with dead lines, I can only imagine how hard it must be when you can't get a pose quite as you'd like it to look, so he simply had to look something up and take help from it. It's just a natural inspiration source to go to and get help from. I know tracing isn't completely right, but is it really that big of a crime to get some help from offical poses now and again to help you keep going?

As I mentioned before, he might be lying again as he did previously, but doesn't he deserve a second chance? I personally don't see this as a big crime, but I can definitely see why people are upset about it and that people don't trust him after all the faults he's been doing.. It's probably hard to trust him again after having your trust let down by an artist you really like, but most of his art really is all original. Can't we forgive him for using some help and get inspired by the official pony vectors now and again, like any other human being would do when they're left with that kind of art block and/or downfall with creativity and inspiration?

I'm sure he had a reason behind all of this, much like any other person would. He has been acting a bit rudely for sure, seeing what people are writing about him, but, he's only human.

  11. I need everyone who haven't seen this to see this:

    http://drawponies.deviantart.com/journal/Message-from-Drawponies-528204959

To you guys who don't think that he has apologized, you're wrong. He has, but people just keep on tracking down on his apology for being "too little". He's clearly learned his lesson and an apology is an apology, he's sorry. If you decide to forgive him or not is up to you. It's only you who is bringing that negative energy on yourself. Hate and anger is unnecessary to keep clinging onto when there's not much reason for it.

I can see why'd you want your money back if you ever bought something from him that actually WAS traced. I'd love to see the piece you bought, I would be able to tell you if the piece was traced or not and I can do that for you personally if you'd like.

95% or more of his work ISN'T traced, so I can't see how it's is such a big deal when it comes to drawponies specifically.

Either way, he sells art because he enjoys making it, he enjoys to be included the brony community like anyone else and he probably needs the money he's earning from what he's doing. He's not some rich company that can give you refund, he's a person who likes making fanart and art. There is also a lot of work to give the money back personally to everyone he "owes" or tricked. I'm sure everyone would take their money back if they could, only to have their money back. 'Cause everyone needs money, right? It wouldn't work out. So what else do you crave from him after this point? He can't do much more than what he already did. He promised to provide only original art from this point on, he's asking for forgiveness and he is keeping strong for himself, despite all the hate and bullying he's getting for this. It's about time all of this stopped. The brony fandom shouldn't support this kind of downfall to one individual alone.

There are people out there who are way worse with art theft, some steal art completely from an other specific artist, reposts it and claims it as their own art. Funny thing is, most of them succeeds with it, no one asks any questions and they rarely ever get caught for their theft. And just because this person happened to trace two or three ponies for his small comic strips, or got inspired to add some extra effects to a piece from the show to add his personal little touch to it, it's the end of the world? I think that's just silly. We're almost all adults here. It's not a big deal and people need to stop getting so upset over this, let it go, as Queen Elsa probably would say.

This world needs more understanding, because that would lead to less hate.

    Stay peaceful, everyone.

Why equality is called "feminism" and why we need it:

The word feminism was coined by Charles Fourier in 1837, a French philosopher who advocated for the emancipation of women because he believed society treated women as slaves. We weren’t allowed to vote, own anything, or work a real job. Women were ruled by their fathers/household patriarch until they married at which time they’d be under the rule of their husband. If a woman did not belong to male household she was shunned by society and had very little means to make money, most of them unsavory. You know the idiom “rule of thumb”? That comes from a running joke that started in the 1600s, and was still around in Fourier’s time, that said it was okay for a man to beat a woman with a stick as long as it wasn’t any thicker than his thumb.

The point of the word feminist, and the feminist movement, has never been to say that women are better than men. The point is that women and things associated with women have been given a lesser place in society and we want to bring those things up to a place of equality. The focus is on the feminine because that’s what’s being pushed down. However, focusing on the feminine does not mean we’re focusing only women. Men are belittled and called “less of a man” anytime they portray a trait that is associated with femininity. If women and the feminine were equal to men and masculinity then that wouldn’t happen. Feminism is about raising up things associated with females to have an equal place in society as the things associated with males. It’s called feminism, not equalism, because the focus is on raising up not tearing down. Equalism would suggest that male things need to come down to a lower level so that female things can meet it in the middle. That’s not the point. The point is to raise up the feminine so that it’s on the same playing field that the masculine is already on. We don’t want men to lower themselves, we just want them to make room for us.

  13. OH MY GOOOOSSHH, I just watched the most recent episode, "Love Letters". Jamie was much more than I expected, he wants to be an ACTOR in CANSAS. That's absolutely adorable! I love how they literally defined Garnet to be the DEFINITION of a relationship. She IS a relationship, she's not Sapphire and Ruby, she's Garnet. I absolutely adore it! I also agree with how Garnet see's love. There is no such thing as "love at first sight", it takes time and you have to at least know the other part. I absolutely love Garnet more for every episode.

And WE GOT TO SEE SADIE'S MOM in person! I'm in love with her, I'm SO happy! Sadie's mom is absolutely adorable, and seemed to be a friend of Greg. My world is only getting more and more complete. So many wonderful, surprising easter eggs in this episode, this makes me so happy, I could burst! Grabbing paper and pen for fanart NEXT!

  14. Oh, blame us. How nice. Is it really the fault of those that don't know every artist in the fandom? Because it sure wasn't obvious to me. Should we keep a thousand pictures of Twilight handy so we can determine what is and isn't a trace? You admit that you didn't know who this person was so you can only say what you said in hindsight which is a luxury. It's no help for people like me that paid for this person's work only to find out that it was the product of effort no greater than a child's most simple drawings.

You mean you come up with excuses. I usually don't. Either someone is right or they are wrong. This person is wrong.

Please, don't take what I say personally, I'm not blaming anyone here. You seem to be defending yourself for something you don't need to be taking personally or defend yourself for, so first of all... I'm not writing anything towards anyone personally and I'd never mean to offend anyone, so if I did, I'm sorry in advance. I'm just expressing my opinion on the matter and that is all. I don't want to upset anyone, even though we all have our disagreements and that occurs, I don't mean any harm to anyone.

This is also why I don't think people should be personally blaming Drawponies, because tracing appears and is done everywhere, each second as we write too, I'm sure. I personally am pretty good with recognizing drawing styles and I can see that he has a certain style he draws with. I could clearly have told which ones he would have traced and not, since he has another way of drawing the anatomy than the official style has, for example... He draws the chest area much thicker and he also draws the faces differently. For example: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/311/1/1/a_new_hero_by_drawponies-d85nsvu.png . Here. That Rainbow Dash is most likely traced, I'm in fact pretty certain of that Pinkie also is traced in the first panel. While in the other two panels, they're not. http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2015/035/e/7/pinkie_no_not_the_floating_head_by_drawponies-d8gmmdw.png In here on the other hand, they're not traced. Because you can clearly see what kind of style he has and then easily point out what's official and not. I can point out some more, but I think you get the idea.

So, that's what I meant. I'm not blaming anyone for not seeing this sooner or anything, I'm just saying that to me, it's not that big of a deal and it's pretty clear what's traced and what's not. To me, it doesn't matter at all because this is also a work of art that he's been doing. Tracing is a way of learning how to draw for many, perhaps tracing isn't a "type of art" when it comes to it but... Actually using vectors to make comics however, is a type of art that is very much appreciated in our fandom. It's used everywhere if you take a look around, so I don't see why it's a crime to trace official art now and again. Offical art is official art after all, it's everywhere and it's how the series are drawn. If anything, we should ask the company if they're offended about having their art traced by fans because they wanted to make a comic about ponies, I don't think they would be very offended by it to be completely honest. I can't be 100% sure, but I'm pretty certain of that it wouldn't be that big of a deal for them.

Compared to someone who's made art and has a personal style, for example... Dennybutt, whom I am a big fan of... If someone would take their art, trace it and tell people it's their own, it would be more personal and a bit of a bigger issue, if you ask me. Because then it's pointed to someone specifically. I'm not saying it's good to trace official art either and especially not to SELL it for money, but you probably get the point by with what I'm trying to say here. I bet you don't agree with me at all, but this is what I think and this is where I stand in this right now.

I can see that people are upset by this and I understand why you are, I understand what you mean and what he's done wrong.

However, I hope that I can get some understanding in what I mean and what I think as well now that I tried to explain more specifically. You guys definitely don't have to agree with me, but at least perhaps understand my point with what I'm trying to say here.

I'd love to have an open-minded chat about this issue.

  15. I think people are overreacting way too much. It's not like he killed someone or anything, I know it's bad to trace, especially to trace and take cred for the art instead of admitting that it's an actual trace. I mean, I traced official MLP pony vectors just to learn how to draw pony anatomy, for example. Tracing is a great way to learn, or an easier way to make something you're satisfied with instead of constantly failing.

Either way, it's always important to credit the actual artists, or at least give people a source to the original art. That's the only thing he did wrong. I've never really heard of this "drawponies", but people are being WAY too mean and hard on him for this, it's ridiculous. I thought we were an understanding and loving fandom, but I'm constantly proved the opposite nowadays. People are getting way too offended for something so small, I KNOW it's wrong to trace, take cred for it and sell it(I'm not sure if he sold it, but it seems he did?), but this happens constantly everywhere and it's not the end of the world.

People should put themselves in his shoes, how do you think he feels after all this? Probably not very well, and this is not a very big crime compared to all the other MUCH bigger problems we have out there. We got him, he's caught with what he did wrong, let him suck on that reveal and feel bad for a moment, then let it go and leave him alone, god. This upsets me a little bit, people are way too offended about everything.

Edit: After looking at his art.... Didn't anyone already see that he traced or just used the vectors in the first place? It's pretty obvious now that I look at what he's done, especially some of them. Basically all artists that make "canon/official looking" comics out there are made using vectors anyway? I don't see how this is such a big deal and I'm an artist myself, I know how wrong it is to steal art. I'm just an easy-going, open-minded one who tries to understand other people rather than blaming them for what they did wrong.

  16. I just thought I'd share two of my favorite Steven Universe music videos/AMV's. Other people might not be as naive as me, but I get superexcited and happy listening to and watching this video:

And then there's this awesome one as well, made by my favorite Steven Universe fan artist.

  18. mouth drawing contest *puts pencil in mouth* *takes pencil out mouth* Wait, can't use unicorns just use magic....?

Yes, they can! Some do, but most of them draw or write with their mouths. I'd assume it's as easy for them to write with their mouths that it is for us to write with our hand. XD

It's all about practice and getting used to.
