Those of y’all who are lucky enough to spend this “stay at home” thing with your significant other, I hope you aren’t taking that for granted.
I don’t know when I’ll get to see my boyfriend again because of this. Doesn’t help that we’re long distance to begin with, though....

@Blivy Go outside if you want during those orders. Don't say I didn't warn you.

@TheTaZe I dunno I'm not trying to start a debate or argument or anything it's just the fact that we have gone so far down the shitter now days that we have forgotten our constitutional rights. Rights do not simply vanish in a time of emergency and I'm tired of people just "rolling over" to whatever government tells them to do. With that being said do I think it's a great idea and respectful to stay inside especially if you are sick? YES of course people should (even though sadly many do not) have enough respect and courtessy to not waltz around willy nilly and puts other people's well being at risk. Whilst that said a government entity should not come in and force into play laws that were unjustly created in the name of public "saftey". Remember hurricane Katrina? The sheirf said "no one will be armed" and like that started confiscating firearms based on the premise of a natural diaster, and "public safetey" that's not tin foil hat conspiracy theories that actually happened? So where do we draw the line? You're telling me if a person needs to leave there residence to go out and hunt for food (like we did for thousands of years before food magically started spearing in the grocery store shelves) that we can't simply based on a government order?
I get all the various arguments against it etc which include but are not limited to "well what if it was your grandpa or grandma that got sick and passed on because of idiots not staying home" or "people cannot be trusted and most people do not care" and while I can see a valid point in many of those arguments that does not excuse the fact that we have unalienable rights in this country that some crisis cannot and should not be able to take away.
With the above being said if need be as a last resort i rather die a free man than a sad man on my knees begging for scraps and government hand outs.
With my (much unneeded and long winded) two cent, God bless and every one stay safe out there!

Yeah! I can agree with you there, @Blivy.
Here in Florida we aren't on a total lockdown and don't seem to be headed in that direction. My boyfriend lives in IL though where you arent even allowed to leave your house unless going to get groceries or gas.
Like Trump said, the cure is worse than the problem. That is absolutely right if you look around you.
