DANG!!!  THAT WAS AWESOME!!! O_O  I remember watching this scene when I was younger and this part made me sad. (Obi Wan is my favourite character) Man, I wish Disney Star Wars was more like this   Seriously tho, that was AMAZING!!! 

If you want a "spruced up" version of the whole OT, check out Star Wars Revisited, by Adywan. He's still working on ROTJ, but ANH and ESB are out for download. Loooots of quality if life touch ups, like fixes in visual errors and flukes (flat lightsaber blades from certain angles being one of the most noticeable), minor consistency edits, improved CG (Alderaan's and DS1's destruction are SO much better, and the battles of Hoth and Yavin are friggin epic now). Honestly it's my new gold standard, I cant wait for him to finish ROTJ. Word is he's restoring cut scenes of B-wing pilots in their cockpits at Endor, by building the cockpits and outfits himself and getting actors to act that he's filming all on his own.

@Rikifive I mean I get not really *understanding* it/being able to fully relate to it, especially if you've never actually met or talked to one, but some of these comments...calling it disgusting and they'd automatically assume the person's a pedo, just....

And then the fact that some of these people probably turn around and say they fully support LGBT, and it's like '....do you even KNOW how hypocritical you're being right now?'

I mean ffs, someone who's thinking about transitioning has to start somewhere, and that 'somewhere' technically counts as 'crossdressing' for a lot of people.

Hmm... I'm not sure if one can blame them for disliking something. 

Personally... Heh, to be honest even what women do for modeling industry is sometimes odd, unnatural or even tends to get to the point where it is disgusting to me.  

Acceptance and tolerance have their borders - I'm pretty sure there's something you'd find strange and disgusting yourself ~ will it be dressing as something really, really odd or perhaps completely different activities, that you would not be able to understand and would strongly disagree to, questioning their existence.

Either way, while I don't support any of this (sorry if it is disappointing), I'm not sparking with hate. As long as no harm is being made, it is individuals' business to do what they love to do. Besides, people do that for comedy purposes, for example, so it's not always that simple to judge.

The choice of arguments and words is now what matters there - I don't find calling it disgusting as an invasive argument full of explosions, as it is about unnatural visuals after all. There are many things, that one could consider as disgusting and no one can blame them I suppose.

For example I think, that spiders are disgusting (due to arachnophobia) and welp, can't do anything about that. Acceptance and tolerance won't help spiders there. 

Though assuming the thing you mentioned -- yeah, now that indeed is not nice and I get what you mean. That is not an appropriate argument to use in the first place, that's for sure.

To be honest I don't know what to say. It's a sensitive subject and I always prefer to avoid these, as I'm not a fan of arguing.

I believe I didn't word what I wanted to say right, so if any of this appears disappointing or offensive, then know, that it wasn't what I was aiming for.

Anyway, don't hate people like this ~ there always will be some you won't get along with.  To not search far, people think of weird things when they hear about or see bronies - I don't mind if someone says something strange to me because of that - can't blame them - an adult liking ponies? What sorcery is this? Has science gone too far? Who cares? 

@Rikifive Finding it disgusting in the sense you dont find it attractive is one thing. But if that were the case, the language being used would be different. The way they're using that word, and others, means they think theres something wrong with the person, that they need to be fixed, that they're subhuman. That's the problem.

And just like with bronies, sure, some people wont "get it". But that doesnt mean theres anything wrong with it...just like theres nothing wrong with crossdressing. And yet they demand (whether were talking about bronies or crossdressing) that WE change, because THEYRE uncomfortable, because of their bullshit ignorance, and adherence to idiotic gender stereotypes.

And yet that's what a lot of these comments being made in that thread imply, that theres something wrong and subhuman about crossdressers....hence "what happened to acceptance and tolerance".

Time for some hamburger steak smothered in brown onion gravy. Yummmmm!
