I thought the storm king had really comical undertones and wasn’t intimidating whatsoever 

tempest was a badass but the storm king was really just more of a bully than an evil bad guy, almost a joke honestly.... I was expecting him to be horrifying the way the movie played out but noooooooo ugh 

I’m waiting for someone to make a edit of just the music playing in the scene where twilight is snapping at pinkie and spike comforting twilight 

i wanna hear it in its true glory 

Then this scene is like, quite possibly the best and most emotional moment from mlp I’ve seen

She was placed under an incredibly stressful situation and I feel like her lashing out at Pinkie was more a result of all that stress getting to her rather than actual malice.

I would also say that this was my favorite scene from the film.

I honestly wasn’t expecting to need a tissue for this movie and this scene really got to me in so many ways (lots of fans have already made comments about this scene, and it’s now very famous to talk about and discuss/debate) when twilight snaps at pinkie amd her friends and pinkie pie just so crushed by what she said it was super shocking and I totally agree OOC 100%, but then when the other mane five walked away only spike stayed and this really sad emotional Pixar-like music started playing in the background, I felt a sense of uselessness from twilight, the fact that spike stayed with her and didn’t walk away with the others truly shows spike and Twilight’s relationship which was rather bittersweet in this scene, but then here’s what REALLY got to me, when twilight sits by that ledge and she just started weeping I lost it and cried because there was a feeling of loss and giving up as well as regret for twilight, then, as spike tried his best to comfort her, it only made it even more emotional and unbearable for her, but then the bad guys came in and it kinda ruined the moment lol awkward!

I actually decided to re draw this request which I am currently doing I already have Fluttershy drawn out I just need to draw your OC then I will post it I am not happy with the way the picture came out so I wanted to re draw it now it is still a sketch, but the colors will be more smoother and they are going to be chibis I will probably finish the picture maybe tomorrow or sometime this weekend.

Spike and twilight have a special bond, plus I don’t think he’d wanna leave Rarity

When the logo’s first start and there’s that spark and then the movie logo with that music I almost cried to be honest because I’ve been in this fandom for like five years and I just ugh I don’t know I almost lost it for a second

  Actually, To BE Fair... Isn't Tryhard Sparkles kinda the one out of the Main Six that's so far gotten the most mental breakdowns? Can we get a chart up in here of how many mental conniptions our mares have had? Because that's kinda a thing the show loves to do! 

  I for one was with Twilight on that. The world was at stake here... might need a bit more than just throwing happy-go-lucky Friendship tactics at the problem and hope it goes away.

It was more like well I don't know how to describe it, she lost hope for a second and gave up 

it was heartbreaking not much of a mental breakdown more just a moment of hopelessness and regret for her 

I also found that midmovie conflict rather random, Twilight would never say that like one of the users here on the forum said, Iv'e watched all the episodes of my little pony friendship is magic and this is completely out of character, and I was sitting there in the theater thinking "wtf is this?!?!"  I also thought the scene where we see them on the beach was rather unusual the main six said some remarks that were out of character as well dissing twilight, I will say this though watching twilight sparkle cry and then say "I can't save Equestria!" really broke my heart and made me cry for that second because I've never seen twilight breakdown like that it made me feel a bit hopeless and feel for her (although the moment was short lived) even spike shows his loyalty and son-like relationship with twilight and decided to stay and comfort her, loved this scene 

I got emotional at the very very beginning when the logo had the twilight sparkle spark going because I knew what I was about to witness just then would be extraordinary and different beyond anything I've experienced in the fandom

He has one of my top ten favorite moments in the film. Right after the fight between Pinkie and Twilight he stands in the middle as the Remane Five walk away upset and Twilight leaves dejected and broken. He is slightly off center between the two points as they separate. He hesitates because it is showing he is torn, and finally decides to run after Twilight to comfort her. That scene is one of the best Spike scenes ever, with almost no dialog spoken.

Just saw it, here I go 

animation: top notch! Really beautiful and soft on the eyes

songs: sia’s song was great! The other songs were average you know meh....

plot: I wasn’t expecting the problem to become this big as it is in the film it comes on suddenly and the villain isn’t introduced immediately but we are suddenly met with a new character and new faces, I thought tempest needed some work honestly and I was expecting twilight to at least revive her horn

 Atmosphere: I’m actually shocked and surprised  that I was literally like at the exact moment that they were making on my little pony movie and I was actually witnessing it I’ll be honest it was bizarre watching this movie and realizing that it was actually my little pony it was almost in someways out of its element with the drama factor stuff in it and had some moments that were almost unnecessary I mean honestly it was an OK movie and I must say that the way they treated spike kind of made me frustrated they almost just used him LOL I wish Spike would’ve got a better part I also found it interesting how there was a concept of going outside with Equestria that there was other worlds that we almost had no idea about  I mean of course we’ve been to other parts of Equestria etc. this was interesting this might sound weird but what I found really disappointing was the lack of actual scenes I hate to break it to people but 89% of the movie is just singing I wish they would’ve at least added more background pony scenes or scenes back in Ponyville etc. some moments without singing and some familiar moments we share in the fandom maybe!

 Still on that topic I would almost say that it was distant to the actual show and it’s happenings in Ponyville canterlot etc.  I just wasn’t feeling the love between the relationship of the main six and Ponyville and the sense of community was not there there was no scenes with side characters not even starlight or Trixie etc. (I knew we saw them for a second I meant like talking and stuff) which was a little bit disappointing overall I’ll say it was a really great movie with stunning animation and it really betrayed the main six nicely lol songbird serenade was my fave!
