Okay, at first I wanted to crack a little joke then I thought why bother? I will just say here one thing and one thing only.
There is no reason for anyone to be aggressive in this thread with each other. I tried my best to answer the question about Luna and if someone doesn't like it there is little I could do to change their minds, nor I even want to.

Don't actually remember, I think it was a biology textbook about various animals or something like that.

I don't have a preference, so I choose Carl's Jr

In all of my experience people don't like to be criticized, yes I know it's a shocker. (And that includes fictional works they helped to create).

My second thoughts was that the episode wasn't bad per say it's just like some people said before Twilight spend way to much time looking for the former head librarian instead of just bringing the "plot device" book back to the library
Too much time also had been spent on worrying that this book accumulated way to much bits that Twilight feared she never would repay it.
The reason I am calling that book a plot device is that because not even the library cared about the old book that by that time had been destroyed by elements.
I think I was like Spike, I was hoping that Twilight would relax and just did what feel logical. Why rush for the accounter when you could just wait? Why rush into retirement home just to talk to the old lady and at the same time jump to conclusions when you can cool your head a bit?
And then there is a gag of Twilight going places while finding out that she almost got her but she is not there anymore
So it would appear to me that Twilight been an awfully rude to a certain extent.

One relatable thing in it was that rugby pony that lives on the place of Dusty Pages getting annoyed by pony no longer living there and still getting her letters.I had the exact same case with old roomy
I was literally confused by that guy, I was thinking is that Rainbow's dad's brother's nethew's cousin's former roommate.
Or is that her mother's? Anyway one of the two.

Not really, "that thing" feels extremely impersonal that I don't feel any connection with "that thing" on the same level as the Golden Oaks library where Twilight had spent several years of her life.
Meanwhile "that thing" enjoys to torment student 6, so I don't see how I am supposed to sympathize with "that thing". "That thing" even stole Twilight Sparkle's identity because it didn't bother to create her own OC.
Is this to much?

Yeah, it went exactly how I thought it would go, so maybe 2.5/5?
I was more interested in contents of Twilight's box then the rest of the episode. Certainly the book didn't really matter since she wasn't in a such a hurry to return it. (G1 Starswirl action figure,
Gay something report,
)
Spike was extra grouchy in this episode, like I am tired of your shit, Twilight.

It's always Sunny in California, when it isn't then it's slightly chilly than normal, still rarely snows.
I always forget about Nevada but it's probably always hot there too.

Excuse me but I want Zecora's origin story.

It would make sense to create a character that follows rule of cool more often than the character that would actually be believable, I guess.
I think the character Mary Sue is impossible by itself because the perfection by itself is impossible

Overthinking leads people to criticize the show and that leads to the same people hating it based on the tiny imperfections only they are dissatisfied with.
-
I am not going to vomit tldr paragraphs I am just going to say that Mary Sues are a somewhat idealistic representation of a character in any given genre. It's not so much as hatred they are just too boring by being too perfect.

I still think that she should do it more often, it's kind of her thing.

Some people just expect a high tier episode every week when it just isn't realistic
It's not that kind of thing, If I understood it correctly Twilight would make a complete fool of herself at someone else's expense, but it's going to be okay because she will learn a lesson in the end.

King Sombra "Good news every creature I decided to surrender."
Princess Twilight "I will do everything in power to avenge my dear sister in law... Wait, what did you say?"
King Sombra "Yeah I've been thinking, *sigh, it would be really stupid for me to get vaporized by you guys again. Especially when I just got this new body from Grogar."
Luna "What?"
Sombra "By the way Grogar is planning an act of terrorism against Princess Twilight Sparkle."
Twilight "Uh?"
Sombra "Also he forced Chrysalis Tirek , and, uh, Ms Glow to do his dirty work."
Luna "Damn it."
Sombra "You do know that your prisoners are gone right?"
10 minutes later in the dark cave
Grogar "You son of a b***tch"
Lord Tirek "Language!"

Oh, they were twerking before twerking became popular? I am sorry I don't see what such a big deal about human woman teaching ponies how to dance.
