I have two answers. First, It has been revealed that Fluttershy's last name IS actually Shy, as referred to someone (I forgot who) visiting Fluttershy's parents and saying "Mr. and Mrs. Shy". Therefore, her last name being Shy. Also, It has been revelaed that Pinkie Pie and Applejack are apparently related, and i'm just wondering, Could Granny Smith be the link to that? I wonder. Also, maybe Applejack IS named Jack, as, Applejack being a tomboy, and Jack being a usual boy name. These are just my thoughts.
