I'm not being too healthy to be honest, as I drink a lot of MTN Dew, don't eat healthy, and don't exercise much.

No it isn't stuff gets on your teeth overnight and if you don't brush your teeth in the morning that stuff sits on your teeth all day. That's the reason you get bad breath in the morning.
