@Silly Druid I never heard of this "Thunderbird" email app until now, I might start using it sometime cause Mozilla is a good company, love their Firefox browser.

Yep. It is what it is. I am just glad I got a computer capable of handling it.

Oh yes, I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking their new app (outlook) they force us to use is sluggish.

Outlook is much slower, it's loaded with all that unwanted apps, has ads, is buggy and often requires to re-login.

The old mail app was so simple it just worked really fast, and never forced me to re-login.

Microsoft in general becomes a tragedy. Had to completely uninstall the entire office, because it constantly significantly bumped cpu usage in the background and legit made my laptop spin the fans, even though I didn't even own licence and never used any of its apps.

And don't get me started on onedrive... Its default settings I got on w11 were absolutely chaotic. I downloaded a few-GB game to desktop, onedrive automatically started uploading this to my cloud. I disabled desktop synchronization, it wiped it out, had to put the effort to retrieve what I had on desktop. I uninstalled the entire onedrive in the end lol.

Heh, I may switch to Linux at this rate...
