I was offered an Advanced Placement class for next semester of school. Should I do it? They said I get college credit for it.

Taking AP and IB classes in high school looks good when applying for college and having to pay for one less class is college is nice, but they definitely can be really difficult depending on the subject. What makes some of those classes hard is how much information they try to cram into your brain in a short amount of time. What class is it?

@Booker these were my options:
AP biology
AP physics - they said this might be too hard
AP psychology
AP European history
That's all I remember they told me, i think they said I can choose one

Physics would definitely be the hardest of the bunch. It's basically a painfully difficult math class with a bunch of labs thrown in. Expect grade curves on most tests to be anywhere from twenty to fifty points. I wouldn't recommend taking this without having already taken trig (I think a grade above 80% in algebra 2 and 85% in regular physics was my school's recommendation before taking IB physics), and if you can take it along with pre calc, then that would help even more.
I knew people who took IB world history, which I'm going to assume is somewhat similar. It's a ridiculous amount of memorization and studying.
Biology is mostly going to be difficult for the sheer amount of work it requires. High level bio and chem have really long labs. We're talking 10 page lab reports minimum, at least for IB. I think AP classes place more emphasis on tests than labs.
And I don't know anything about psych, so I don't know how hard it would be compared to the others. They're all hard for different reasons.
Something interesting I found is that many IB and AP high school classes are waaay harder than their college counterparts, at least the freshman and sophomore ones, anyway. IB physics made college physics look like a joke.
