  1. Hymnus Dianae This is a poem by the ancient Roman poet Catullus, found in Carmen XXXIV... HYMN TO DIANA Diana's faith inbred we bear Youths whole of heart and maidens fair, Let boys no blemishes impair, And girls of Dian sing! O great Latonian progeny, Of greatest Jove descendancy, Whom mother bare 'neath olive-tree, Deep in the Delian dell; That of the mountains reign thou Queen And forest ranges ever green, And coppices by man unseen, And rivers resonant. Thou art Lucína, Juno hight By mothers lien in painful plight, Thou puissant Trivia and the Light Bastard, yclept the Lune. Thou goddess with thy monthly stage, The yearly march doth mete and guage An d rustic peasant's messuage, Dost brim with best o' crops, Be hailed by whatso name of grace, Please thee and olden Romulus' race, Thy wonted favour deign embrace, And save with choicest aid. Catullus. Carmina. Sir Richard Francis Burton. trans. London. For translator for private use. 1894.

  3. I believe it is inevitable that others will use your artwork for AI training. The people on this forum are principled and would not do such a thing, but you cannot prevent others from using your work to train AI models elsewhere. I believe adding ‘Do not use my work to train AI’ to your own work is a measure that may deter the principled but not the unscrupulous. As long as someone with no scruples believes your work has value for AI training, they will still find a way to use it for that purpose. Personally, I do not oppose others using my arts to train AI, as I believe the principles of machine learning and human learning are similar, both involving neural network connections. However, I oppose those who disregard creators' objections and plagiarise works with impunity.
  4. I don't know what to do A boy keeps throwing away the food bowls that the community has set out for stray cats. He also keeps throwing broken pieces of green onion into the cat food. He says he hates cats! I can't change his mind...
  5. My parents often say that to me, which makes me very sad. My father even mocks me when I fail. But I refuse to believe that. I believe that 1. No one can predict your future. 2. No one knows you better than yourself. Pandora, what you encountered was an accident, and having an accident does not mean you are bad. You are not burdening your friends or family
  6. Reality will cease to exist. Ancient people imitated nature and created many things. Since the Industrial Age, humans have mass-produced imitations of nature. Now, humans are creating new entities from code. Gene editing technology can make humans immortal, and computer technology can create information entities independent of nature. These entities no longer inherit from real-world prototypes; they are simulations. Media is the information, and so media is the carrier of simulation. Today's humans are surrounded by media. Ergo they live in simulation... Webpages, social media, advertisements, television programmes, live streams, AI-generated text, images, and videos —these interconnect to collectively create an atmosphere, a symbol of the ‘ideal life.’ They cause people to forget reality and immerse themselves in the simulation. They can not came back to the "reality". Such a world is the hyperreal. Reality as real because illusion serves as its opposite; but hyperreal has no opposite, it swallows everything. In the world of hyperreal, the boundary between reality and illusion shall no longer exists.... In the future, AGI will emerge, it smarter than all AI, possessing more knowledge, and it's more terrifying. I think the old world is gone forever; we must prepare to live in hyperreal world.
