I was thinking of this part of my MLP fan fiction for the final chapter which I am not even close to writing yet, but this is a sticky note idea type of thing to keep the basic concept memorized, where Discord places his magic of his immortality in a crystal, then asks Fluttershy's ghost to either keep it or smash it, he does not try to stop her, and tells her she can do what she likes with it. Fluttershy after seeing what eternal separation is doing to Discord's psyche, she does the merciful thing, and grants him peace, Discord fears growing old, but Fluttershy reassures him he will be okay, and that one day they will be reunited to be together for eternity and at peace. this corrects an abysmal piece of writing from G5 official, where Discord's fate is much worse than the alternative. I know he has made mistakes, but he does not deserve this outcome IMO.

Whoever drew that picture of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash is clearly a good artist. I think they're cute.

I got screenshots working on my Linux system, it was simple actually, all I had to do was press the print screen key, and it activated an application called grim. On another good note, I installed the Sandisk extreme pro sd card in my machine and it is much faster, especially noticeable with web browser use. True SD cards generally die quicker than SSDs do, but those things are cheap to replace anyway so I'm not too worried about it. As long as I got important files backed up who cares, does not take long to install Debian.

I like this desktop theme I put together on my Linux system, thanks to the MLP 2017 movie DVD I have a copy of. I could not do this on Windows because of the copy protection nonsense interfering with screenshots, I'm giving up with Windows altogether from now on. The final straw for me was when I could not make a screenshot of a film I paid for a licensed copy of, both for personal use and commentary on forums. Wouldn't something like that would fall under fair use? I'm not a lawyer so I don't even know for certain. Either way, Windows sucks, it is too restricted, not in terms of compatibility for software, that is not the issue, the issue is how it can be annoying to customize the look of, as evidenced by posts here. Anyhow, I enjoyed Ponyfying my Raspberry Pi 5 desktop, it has been a rewarding experience.

Finishing rewatching episode 3 of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic - The Ticket Master. I like how fair Twilight Sparkle was to her friends, forfeiting the tickets because she did not have enough for everypony in her group. How many friends do you know who would do that for you? when people value their relationship and needs of each other more than their own wants, that is love. Sometimes being there for a friend is more important than going to some event you're only going to see once in a lifetime. This is what makes me respect Twilight Sparkle, this is who she is and is meant to be in the show, and I'd like to have a friend like her if I were in that fantasy world as a Pony myself, I could learn a lot about friendship from her influence, and she and others like her, are the reason why I would love Equestria so deeply.

The Simpsons is a great show too. Yeah I get the joke, everybody else here would. But thinking about how many episodes I had watched from that show, Treehouse of Horror specials are some of my favourite ones.

Some people on other forums may have questioned why I am now using a Raspberry Pi 5 for using MLP forums. The reason for that is simple, its low energy drain, it's an eco friendly option, especially now that I got my LED lights on my shelf pulling energy with it, which serve both as decoration and as a modern desk lamp. And because it doesn't have a built in fan, it's less noisy as well which makes it ideal for a jukebox setup. And because it does not generate so much heat, I can keep my room cooler in summer. Not every application needs a souped up x86 machine with dedicated graphics cards, kind of the reason not everybody needs to own a sports car on a -40mph limit road, what it is used for and why does matter.

Still listening to a Ministry of Sound CD album on Jriver. This album was put together by Boy George and Judge Jules and I got to say it is one of the best albums I have listened to.

Ouch, that sucks. I still got my laptop, it is old but still usable, and thankfully has a safeguard against nooby mistakes like that. Laptop motherboards like most PC motherboards automatically throttle the CPU, or in the worst case, shut down if the temperature is too high. Still it is not sensible practice to keep our electronics under blankets though, if there is a design fault or it has no built in safety features, it can cause a fire. And yeah I suppose I could use my laptop for the same purpose, watch films, but why do that when I don't travel a lot? it's easier to use my desktop computer to watch movies and TV shows.

I may just install my 256gb extreme pro SD card in my Pi 5 system, high endurance would have been a benefit if the thing wasn't so slow. Defeats the purpose, my Pi 5 has 8gb of RAM so there would not be enough writes to kill the SD card in any short space of time anyway.

I used to have one but the battery became defective and I had to get rid of it for safety reasons. I miss it though because it was region free, and would playback imports, some DVDs of cartoon shows I have will only work with region 1 DVD players. Powerpuff Girls being one of them, Courage the Cowardly Dog being another. And if my My Little Pony FIM and Ed Edd n Eddy DVDs are region 1 that's another problem, because it means I have to keep my DVD drive connected to my Raspberry Pi 5 PC in region 1 mode, and their region cannot be changed infinitely which sucks. VLC Player is great but it has its limitations no thanks to DRM.

I suppose you got a point, at least they added a different villain this time around though and did not keep reusing the same ones from previous story arcs. Storm King I thought was an interesting character, though he got what he deserved at the end IMO, for trying to keep Ponies enslaved.

If you were in a VR simulated world with them however it is reasonable to expect their character models to appear more 3D.

Funny how that works, on the same month I got the Queen Chrysalis action figure, my MLP profile is ranked evil Changeling, yikes, good thing she is not real, if she thought I had any allegiance with her cult or worshiped her, she may try to recruit me.

I couldn't help but notice Tirek and Queen Chrysalis both have something in common, they both have egos the size of a quasar.

I love how passionate she yells that Rarity truly would be an exciting friend to have if we lived as Ponies in the fantasy world Equestria.

I love how excited Rarity gets about her diamond ring in that fantasy of hers in that MLP episode The Ticket Master, funny the way she yelled "yes!" aww she is so adorable.

Pinkie Pie is so cute, how excited she gets about the Grand Galloping Gala in My Little Pony FIM shows how playful she is. That innocence reminds me why I wish to be a Pony in Equestria fantasy realm. I can never go there obviously, however having that innocence myself like in my fan fiction about rebirth in Equestria, would enrich the experience of being there more and make true friendships last, I would not want to be corrupted by greed, narcissism or lust, because otherwise that would be a gift to villains there who seek to destroy peace.

Nice, the tablet I've taken is working, getting anxiety down, good because I don't want to end up on statins from heart disease as well if it can be helped. I've wasted half a day trying to get the apps on my computer to take a screenshot, I actually wanted a different one taken, but I settled on using an old one instead. Something is interfering with my apps so for the time being I am unable to take sceenshots on my Pi 5 with Linux.
