I know I have made criticisms about Slice of Life but cute is not the reason for that, far from it, it's other things, where characters often get into petty arguments that serve as nothing more than padding of a show. But I don't find cute annoying necessarily. That is part of the reason why I was able to tolerate My Little Pony FIM episodes that involved Cutie Mark Crusaders, like Sisterhooves Social and Stare Master. I think on the whole, there were important messages in both of those, Stare Master was about biting off more than we can chew, and Sisterhooves Social taught the importance of compromise in relationships, in both cases this led to needed growth for characters of the show. So no, CMC are not as negative to the story as some people say they are, plus it is only natural for them to behave the way they do since they're children.

I don't care if some people think Cutie Mark Crusaders are annoying

if I were my OC like in my MLP G4 fan fiction fantasy world I'd do whatever it took to protect CMC from harm, I don't see that ending well with an encounter with Queen Chrysalis later on, how I write it is up to me, however if it were going to play out with the most realistic outcome, well, chances are, my character is toast in that situation. I'm not embarrassed to admit that either. I'm thinking through how I should write that part in, but let's just say Chrysalis will be darker than her show counterpart in this fanfic. If I cannot be a warrior, my imaginary self could at least not burden good citizens of Equestria with cowardice instead.

I don't need to get my wish to be in the fantasy world of MLP FIM to be kind to others, I have been doing that here on this forum and outside of forums, if I have upset anyone, I would gladly apologize and correct my mistake. However I don't regret my wish or the fanfic I am working on even for a second, I have nothing to be ashamed of because I know it is what I'd truly want. My love for their culture of friendship would be so strong, that it would feel like treachery to deny this desire. I know they have nasty villains, but so does the real world, and many more of them who seemingly get away with everything they do wrong just because they have a lot of money.

Also I've been getting some positive responses about my posts about MLP character Princess Luna as well. I do daydream about being her friend, I know I can be obsessive about this but I daydream about being my OC in my fanfic, it can never happen for real. But in a fantasy world scenario where I got reborn into Equestria after human life ended, making friends there in a pure hearted or innocent fun loving adventure, I would have no problem asking Luna if she'd like to be a friend and have casual conversation with. Not to date her or anything like that, just be friends. I don't ask for fame, riches or power, only to be kind to others and to be raised to be that way there, having Luna as my mentor in that fantasy world would be to put it simply, awesome, she is a Princess I would look up to.

Princess Luna is a great Princess IMO

I've said it before if I were a pony living in the fictional world Equestria, I'd support her, I'd like to be her friend, she has something in common and it is more than her love for Halloween-esque festival Nightmare Night, the way she treated Cutie Mark Crusaders was endearing, boosting their confidence even when they were getting bullied for not having cutie marks by other Ponies. Luna is definitely somepony I could see myself having a great time with. I know she is a Monarch, but as established it's more important that Rulers have ethics than anything else. It's entirely possible to have bad Rulers who were elected, like in real life, who commit war crimes. Given the awful politics of the real world, I'd much rather have Luna as Ruler.

I may listen to The Best of The Doors album soon, I am getting bored around here.

she is adorable, that smile. Aww. I wished I could meet her, and the closest I'd ever get to that is either a dream or Virtual Reality. What fun that would be, her telling jokes or scary stories. Who would not like this? waking up from a dream about her would put a smile on my face, that much is guaranteed. Perhaps I could tell a story about "Princess of the Night and Tales of the Swamplands."

I don't know how you write fanfics or if you even have one. I don't regret how I said I'd like the story to go in my MLP fan fiction. If I were my OC in the fantasy magical world of Equestria, no complaints about that, honestly. I cannot speak for others who would have similar fantasies, how they'd react to their fantasies is entirely their own perspective, but I would be happy for them all the same.

In that imaginary scenario if Princess Luna did that for my OC, ordain the rebirth as a Pegasi, I'd cry with gratitude. I would not complain about the existence of villains there, even if they could harm me, because I would be aware there are many individuals who actually do something to stop them, they do fight for justice, and they encourage others to be courageous when something goes wrong. That would make it worth being there, love is treated as a fundamental which brings peace.

Fluttershy in Stare Master episode of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic was cute, she took good care of Cutie Mark Crusaders.
