    Looking at posts here during the afternoon. It's good to see my associates here are still alive and well, even if some of you have to work to pay your bills, in your spare time you get to do things you like. Thinking about how later I may link up my Firestick to the Wifi in the house. Got to have dinner soon. Something embarrassing happened in the house this morning I don't want to talk about.

    Is it wise of me to get a Nintendo Switch 2? the Xbox series X console is an ugly looking piece of hardware that is anything but modern looking in my opinion. And advances in modern hardware have made it possible for games to work on much smaller computers. Switch 2 is not as powerful as an Xbox series console, but it does not have to be, it simply has to be enough and I'm okay with that. A lot of the games I played back when I could concentrate on a game long enough but had to stop because of mental health reasons, were old.

    Your choice, Some of the early 2000s cartoons had pilot episodes that started in the 90's, What A Cartoon Show. But Outside those examples, we had Samurai Jack, I have a bunch of DVD episodes of it sitting on my shelf in case I want to binge watch those. There is a 5th season of it which is also worth watching for adults who still watch the show today. I think it is a good example of quality animation, late 2000s TV shows like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic had a smoke dragon episode similar to what was in Samurai Jack, Dragonshy, which I thought was interesting. Sorry I cannot discuss this further, I am about to watch a completely different TV show, but enjoy your early 2000s cartoon watching Woohoo, and remember, we are friends.

    I like My Little Pony and collect figures of the characters from the show Friendship is Magic, because I like cute things.

    I guess it will be no secret soon, my birthday is on Saturday. I don't expect gifts on that day, not even from my own family, just wholesome togetherness time. Thinking about the Grim Reaper statue I bought which had nothing to do with my birthday, I don't believe in ghosts however I've wondered what the river styx from folklore would look like, perhaps I should pick out a movie to watch on Halloween that has a grim reaper in it.

    Old game consoles too, I'm well aware of PC games using the CD format, I have to keep putting my Sonic Adventure CD in to play it on Windows, for some reason I cannot get that to work on Linux which is why I have to use the digital version through Steam Deck. I've not been in the mood to play video games lately though. But enough about that, I'm getting off to watch Transformers 1986 movie before going to bed tonight. Take care everyone.

    Windows 98 had that memory glitch, however I think the issue was overblown at the time, because 512 megabytes of RAM was still a lot back then. it became a problem by the time Windows XP came out but by then Windows 98 was already obsolete. It does however, still serve a purpose for people who play old PC games. Windows 7 was the last good Microsoft OS I remember, however I do have fond memories of Windows 98, those screensavers were fun to play around with.

    Plus simply using a regular fan just blows the same hot air around the room, they work only if the ambient temperature is low enough.

    That sits right at the edge of the temperature I can tolerate actually, but yeah I can see why that would be uncomfortable, at this temp which converts to about 32℃ I have to sleep without the duvet on at night.

    The simple pleasures that can be gotten out of life, I should not underappreciate. Thinking about the good times brings me hope, thinking about friends on here and at home means tomorrow is worth looking forward to.

    Hi Samurai Equine, I do have a question since you're a fan of the franchise. Who do you think is more powerful out of Erazor Jinn and Solaris in Sonic the Hedgehog? if I'm being honest about what I think though people may disagree because it's a tough call, I'd say they're equal. Erazor Jinn probably could have done as much damage as Solaris if he had escaped the world of the story book. :twilightsmile:

      Well it's kind of hard to tell since Erazor is a spin-off villain (I think), and Solaris is more main-line (for the most part).

      I believe the game Sonic 06 was basically saying that Solaris is a god-tier level entity. The kind that can serve as the basis for creation myths. If you are comparing them strictly based on power, the question becomes, is a genie a god? I might have missed something from not playing that game, but the impression I got was that Erazor Jinn was powerful, but not god-tier. However, there is room for debate, so it's hard to tell.

      Alternatively, Solaris was erased. His existence came to an end when Elise blew out the candle. Though fragments of his memory remain, he is ultimately gone, and it doesn't look like he is coming back any time soon. Erazor Jinn was trapped in a lamp. He is still alive. In this regard, Erazor wins.

      But ultimately, I like to look at story and context clues. Solaris being able to split his mind and body (Infinite & Iblis) can potentially make for a good survival method; as long as one part exists, Solaris can still be resurrected. I don't think Erazor has anything like this; perhaps a sign of his own ego. And above all that... Think about Sonic himself. He doesn't kill his villains. He avoids it at all costs. He ALWAYS finds a way. Solaris was one of the few villains where that changed. And since we're not getting that planned sequel to Sonic '06, it makes me think Solaris is just too powerful to keep around. There really was no other way. Solaris will always be the more powerful threat to me.

    Nothing against alicorn OCs, I don't know why it was such a controversy in the first place, if people wanted to make a pony superhero squad led by an alicorn then do it. We have so many fictional characters with godlike traits in other media who happen to be human or human in appearance at least. Given that, MLP AU's involving alicorn princesses of different names is nothing out of the ordinary for me. I'm not here to stir the pot, I am merely giving my observation.

    because it was only a dream last night of being in Ed Edd n Eddy world, Kanker Sisters could not faceplant me for saying something stupid about their crush on the Eds.

    Not a dream I wanted to be in, but I had one about Ed Edd n Eddy, though the memories faded as they usually do, I think I remember seeing Rolf. it's not a nightmare either, so doesn't matter. But given the temper tantrums the characters throw on a regular basis and the absurd amount of physical strength they possess, it's not exactly safe. Funny as a show, but being there for real and being subjected to that, would kind of suck. The good thing is, dreams of potentially dangerous situations, are not real.

    I feel like I need to build emotional intelligence, I did say I want to have a personality like Fluttershy's, I don't get this right all of the time but it is something I need to work on. Yes, being sensitive is a good thing, but there's a difference between being feelings easily being hurt and being mindful of other people's feelings. I want to love others more, so I can find peace.
